As to the question raised about how many discords the clf needs: at least two because of the different dynamics that exist in the other(s). Personally, I prefer this server's approach. Where the others appear to simply be yet another place for individuals to express their ideas (which is something we have many places to do already), Clan Leader Central has a clearly defined purpose and well-organized method of taking ideas and developing them so that they're in a concise form.

Moreover, Clan Leader Central (collaborative clan discord) is a tool we can use to share ideas for clan improvements. These ideas are then discussed and refined. This method should be helpful to Jagex when they are ready to work on clan-related content. We've already sifted through the bits and pieces of all the various suggestions from individual clan members, clan leaders and reps made through the years via CLF, RSOF and other social media and developed them further before they're passed along to Jagex.

don't forget though the " Collaborative Clan Central " is essentially based off the original clan leader discord though, even through structure.

The only difference being is the original CLD seems to be making progress with a fully customised discord bot to address issues brought by leaders and a Jagex Moderator reviewing feedback.

I could make a second runescape reddit or wikia if I want. doesn't mean the second would ever likely succeed the first. Creator of the Clan Leader Discord & Clan Discord

There's nothing particularly unique about CLD's structure. And voting on ideas with a thumbs up or thumbs down response is simplistic. The more in-depth system of collaboration, analysis and compilation of ideas into concise and specific recommendations developed by CLC has a real chance for success.

And when another leader poses a question directed for a specific mod, it's laughable that you want to step in and speak for them. (For instance, I'm quite sure Mod Maz is capable of answering questions regarding the progress she made with the clan permission rewrite and would have done so if given some time and the opportunity.)

And sending threatening pms from throwaway accounts warning those who take part in CLC to "watch their backs" didn't do much to encourage using your discord either. Combine that with an election that was disorganized at best (and downright deceptive at worst) and there is no comparison of which is the best managed server.

My earlier post extolled the virtues and positive things that CLC offers. You've tried to sabotage CLC several times now, so don't be surprised when you get called out on it. It would really be for the best if you'd just realize and accept that some of us will never be comfortable fully participating in CLD given its history.

Okay I want to address this real quick, but I'm not trying to argue!

Yes, the "election" was rushed, poorly-planned, and not well thought-out. Yes, one of the moderators was completely forgotten about as a candidate during the election (though this was fine, as he stated he wouldn't want to run it). Yes, it was a mess.

However, we have all been trying to do the best we can with what we have. I cannot speak for or against the way Rob set up the election system, but I do know that his decision to resign came very abruptly for all of us - even the moderators. The moderators had very little input in how the "election" was set up. In the time since then, however, we have been doing our best to make things fair. We've been trying to run the server as equals, and be reasonable with moderation so we don't cross the line into censorship.

I know the damage has been done and not everyone will return. I'm completely okay with this - some clans have a very different model, and as such require a very different forum for speech than CLD can offer at this moment in time. We want to make CLD as inclusive as we can, but at the same time we acknowledge that it's impossible to please everyone.

CLD administration is able in assisting CLC, but at the same time we want to respect your boundaries and independence from CLD. We have no interest in harming, discrediting, or otherwise "sabotaging" your server. These actions are coming from either one person or a small group of people, who have no influence or "pull" on CLD. When we became aware that threats were being sent to people, we were concerned and wanted to look into it for you. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape
