I personally prefer...

You, Macka, Ray, Jigzag whoever else is staff in clan leader discord does not have the authority to deny paying customers their feedback.

P.S - As Haviks has said, Lisaa is no longer an admin of the Discord and neither am I! I'm much happier as I have real life, work and bodybuilding commitments to attend to rather than bicker and receive drama over a game.

I find it interesting how you aren't addressing the flow of information topic, such as the moment where I (a banned legacy leader from CLD) had to take content from the CLD relating to the clan cup to share with clan leader forum when I am pretty sure that was meant to be Macka's job.

It's not my job to track every post Shauny makes and share it to CLF, I nor anyone else here is above anyone to "control" information. Anybody in the Discord can share to CLF and CLD does not restrict that being shared to CLF either, it is simply a case if anybody has the time to stalk Shauny, document it all and to share into CLF.

Anybody of the 300+ members within CLD can share to CLF, so if you want to put the blame on someone then just blame the community for not sharing together within CLF then?

I find it quite rude to question ones worth and commitment towards clans just because they aren't of a"Owner" or "Key rank" anymore. To dish out an uncalled for attack on Lisaa is quite disgraceful.

Everyone here has been through the same trails and tribulations to earn their right to be within this forum and has once worked their butts off to lead a clan at some stage so show some respect thanks.

Clans do die out and some leaders do choose a different path so instead of rubbing their faces in it we should be supporting them as they do for the cause of clans.

I agree with information being shared to CLF but people have to realise that it's hard to constantly stalk Shauny and share info from a real-time conversation from Discord (CLD) unless they probably dedicated a shiz tonne of time (or their life) or maybe the forums had a glorious makeover.

Then again it would be easier if everyone was working together to stalk/share information from a Discord rather than 1 or a small amount of people wouldn't it? Truth is not everyone wants to commit their life to a game chat, we've all got things to do in life. That'll always be the problem with multiple social platforms, we have to live with that and it's especially hard for the poster (Shauny) sharing on all those platforms too!

So before all this rant about info not being shared to CLF, let's just give Shauny some slack here and understand his job. He can only do what he can, think of ways we can make Shauny's life easier and ways he can work with us.

So I still standby my opinion of lack of proper partitioning of resources on Jagex's part

Sadly it's more representative of a cycle you see within staff at Jagex. People join, have a million amazing ideas, then get stretched so thinly that it's hard to carry out all of those ideas in addition to KPIs.

I believe that this forum is important for big things and discussions, as a more digestible means of debate, rather than other communications. It's also good for future references as it's Jagex-supported and we get to keep everything to page 50.

On the topic of legacy leaders: it's always useful to have insight from as broader sample as possible. Just because somebody doesn't lead a clan anymore, it doesn't mean that their contribution isn't without purpose. This isn't an old boys club, neither is it a private members' club.

Do you guys remember when RSOF was one of the biggest/fastest-moving forums on the internet? Those were the days! Activity on the RSOF has waned over the last 10 years, but they still provide an important means of communication. I hope that CM get more time to communicate soon. :)

I don't use these forums much, but it's nice to know they are here when I need them. I am waiting, almost a year now to get moved up to clan leader. We lost ours when covid hit and no one can contact him. So waiting patiently for the year mark to hit. Glad2bhelp Clan on RS3, helping people for years with no mandatory anything. MRC clan on OSRS.

it's certainly a question worth asking. most years around December time I do ask the question of what future the year ahead brings for clans. Since we have not had a jmod for a very long time this clf truley is pointless. It's why after responding to various peoples idea lately with the same reply. Good idea but good luck as we have no jmod. I figured it was a good idea to get an idea of how many we number. Maybe then we can have an honest discussion about the future of the clf.

So thank you very much for replying to that esp as your voice I expect will serve well as devils advocate.

I think is it clear to us all now that this forum is not dead, even without regular posts it is clearly being read & checked by many passionate hard working clan leaders who are proud to plant our vex & wear our chosen colors with pride. Current or Legacy leaders have a wealth of knowledge & ideas they are willing to share so lets keep the forum chat alive.
While I can see the merit of discord as a faster way to communicate, not everyone is able or wants to use discord which then excludes them from any content or discussion around the clans that we all love and have chosen to lead.

As this forum is the official clan forum can some way be found to add or duplicate the information within the discord to at least include those (myself included) who prefer using these forums provided by Jagex as a means to share our ideas while also keeping the discord for those who prefer to use that. I would hope they could both be used to complement each other and not to exclude anyone who chooses one over the other.
Scarlet.

Despite what people say RS3 is dying, as clan leaders you all have to notice that activity is low, recruiting is harder, and overall the effort quite isnt worth it.

Hit the nail dead center.

It's justifiable that the nail hit, is the same that seals the coffin. However, there's no point in shutting down the forums, or even this specific forum section, it's a nice middle ground that's away from all the A##munchers on reddit.
