There are multiple priority lists, based on the development teams - Community Development has the Permissions Rewrite as a very high priority but it is not a time critical development, as it is not required to fulfill a specific calendar spot like holiday events or similar are, and the resource required to complete the project will be larger than can be provided by our team alone. This means we need to find additional resource and an appropriate time slot in the schedule for it to fit into.

We know it's the number one priority for Clan Dev, what you seem to be avoiding telling us, is how far down your list of community dev teams various sections clan development is. We don't want specifics on what those updates are, or a time frame for when the re-write will happen (because it's obviously never). We want to know how many things are above it in the list. Owner of

I think what J4ron is trying to say is that, we understand that the permission rewrite is at the top of the clan development list, and that there are other projects of similar priority which require fewer resources to complete that will be put ahead of it. It just seems like there is always something new coming up with a "Similar priority which require fewer resources" or is time sensitive, that keeps getting bumped ahead of the rewrite.
It's not that we are ungrateful or we blame you and Maz personally, we are just growing increasingly agitated at being given the short end of the stick time and time again. You can imagine how it could seem unfair to us, having been promised such a wonderful update only to have it put on hold indefinitely.

Mod Maz is still assigned to other tasks atm. Once those are complete we will no doubt review the position of the project and have a better idea of the scheduling and resource availability. It is not a matter of things being bumped ahead, it is instead a matter of dependencies. Let us get those ducks in a row and then we'll be able to discuss better.

Very well Matthe we will have patience, however do we have a general idea of how long those tasks might take? One month? Two months? Four months? Six months? Anywhere between two and six months? A general idea of some sort? Or is it something that she is assigned to until she is assigned elsewhere?
I guess what I'm asking is, can you give us just a wee bit of non-specific information to hold us over for the time being? Something to make being patient a little easier? Frankly sitting on the edge of my seat is beginning to give me a butt cramp =[

From what we were told before, we should have been expecting Mod Maz to return to developing this in the first quarter of 2015, so personally I wouldn't think to question four months but would something before July 2015 be something realistic to expect?
