I'm sure that it was suggested before but there should be new title which allow us to mute clanmates

At the moment, my clan is based on total level ranks. The avatar can only be used by Admin+, and with the clan wanting the avatar out as much as possible, my total level ranks go up to coordinator, to give everyone a fair chance at the avatar.

The problem i have is that admin rank+ can remove people from the ban list, and kick clan members. I really find this a problem, as i really only wanted my key ranks to have that ability.

It would be the perfect solution if you could set the kicking actual clan members as a permission, rather than letting them do it at will.

This project is on hold while Mod Maz works on some other things, and her current task is not part of batch 2 of Elf City - when it is back in the development cycle we will tell you. Thanks for the update Mod Matthe, will be great if a date can be scheduled for this, even if its a years time at least we know its going to get done eventually. At the moment it reminds me of when I broke my arm and was waiting 20 hours for surgery because more important emergency things kept getting rushed through in front. I wasn't allowed to eat or drink anything in that time because of the anesthetic (a good analogy to us not being able to manage our clans properly).

As you will have seen recently we were awaiting announcement of the Community Development team, part of whose areas of responsibility will include Clans. The issue specifically in this case still stands though - the level of resource required to complete the Clan Permission Rewrite is substantial and there are other projects with similar priority that require significantly less resources to complete. Therefore those tasks will be developed first, until we have suitable resource and our schedule allows us to commit to completing this project.

Sorry - this post confused me? RuneScape, much like most other MMOs, was never designed to allow players to develop content. We have put in place systems like Player power, OSRS player polls and soon RuneLabs to help players guide development but actual direct player development of content? Is not something that is possible with the current game and codebase.

The priority list for Community Development is something I would have to speak to Mod Moltare about sharing and it is unlikely we would fully reveal as it includes a number of surprises, as you would expect. Certainly the Clan Permissions Rewrite is at the top of the priority list for Clan Development, as there are other features that require it to be in place before progress can be made on them.
