The friends list is not really that crowded, you can actually "resize" the window, too. If it is more convenient for Jagex, I would definitely agree with the hovering over a player's name option. We find ourselves at the end of our amusements.

I have to agree with this. Even if it just showed whether or not the player was in a clan, that would be a massive help to recruitment methods.

On the other hand, this looks like a neat feature.
