Don't know why all the silliness about the Discord but read the first paragraph clearly on the Clan Leader Discord thread.

"The purpose of the Clan Leader Discord is to help better network our clans, share events, build on and discuss clan based ideas that can be shared into CLF for further general discussion and presentation to Jagex."

Nothing is moving to the Discord and for those who don't have Discord are included as people present it to CLF at their own will. Discord is just a tool which is great for socialising and quick responses, it's just a convenience for those who choose to do so. We're just a community.

Hope we can get JMod Feedback filled out again...

And Macka, glad to see that statement and glad to see it will be backed by actions, and not just be nice sounding words, lets do everything we can together to support our common goals.

Now enough derailing the topic of this thread ... we are at a good point now to give high level feedback about clans, and this thread has raised some key concepts that we can work on further.

Yeah, it's alot of this. Sadly, not alot of mods are left from origin, maybe half at best. And the imbeciles that slide thru into the employment line to JAGeX HQ are half-wit "millennials" thinking they can "improve" on things simply by breaking it all to pieces. They don't care about the existing product, nor why people enjoy it. They just want what they want themselves and assume everybody else wants the same stupid shit. Clan:

I want to say I'm glad that so many of you share these concerns. But I'm not, I wanted to be the only one with these concerns, I wanted you all to go 'J4, stop being such a fuddy duddy'. But it's so scary to see that most of you share these same concerns. Also the fact some of you had no idea these things were being discussed imo shows how little jagex thinks of us leaders, whom, without trying to sound arrogant, are keeping this game alive. Without clans there is a huge hole in RuneScape and if you destroy the fundamentals of clans, there will be no more RuneScape.

Before Mod Moltare left Jagex, he passed a list onto Mod Osbourne (dave) on what he thinks should be done to clans. I'm very scared about what's on that list, and if we get a say on anything on it.

Likely to do something clan related in 2018.
So many things a clan can do.
Clan v Clan stuff at higher levels.
Clan related content is never negative; it only benefits the community.
Not looking to do a huge release, but will be released in steps (not batches).
Since a lot of clan-related JMods have moved teams, Mod Shauny has been given more to - clans being one of them.
Not looking to do massive clan updates like clan permission reworks.
Doesn't want to guarantee anything.
Mod Shauny wants to do a clan project for TAPP.

so something is likely to happen, but it's not the thing nearly all clan leaders agree needs to happen THE PERMISSIONS REWRITE.

I'm so close to giving up hearing it's going to be another year at least, before the one thing we need gets done. Owner of

Dear Jagex, please do not just run into clan idea's with a grain of salt . some idea's like making a clan own a certain space or world as smart but I in the 4 years 5 months as a clan leader and many more years of playing Have seen the affects of what happens when clans are fighting over an area or a world 12 "clan throne" and many others have seen precursors of something similar years ago where several clans were fighting over world 12 Acting like world 12 was theirs And only theirs claiming world 12 was their "throne" the conflict that came from it was horrible. Its something that has been gone but I don't want to see around as something that is encouraged . We play this game to have fun enjoy playing with people from all over the world . setting aside our difference's even race or colour to enjoy the content you guys put many hours of hard work into. I understand the pressure and stress you guys go through more so mod Osborne and many more after watching the pain in his face after so much bad back lash from menaphos the pain of working so hard on something . broke my heart for you guys . When it comes to clan listern to the leaders of clans on runescape . people like j4ron is wise beyond his years and when he says something he does not just say it from his own view but from many other leaders to . We want clans to build and strengthen not only clans but strengthen the love of playing runescape with our friends , familys, neighbours and more. when it comes to citadels many clan leaders and members have worked hard to build what they have they have spent time working together building a home of their own a place where battles can be forged new levels and heights can be reached & where friendships can be formed . taking away the citadel would be a mistake it's what makes clans a place to come together work together and skill together .for me the citadel has been a passion for me. for 6+ years I have enjoyed loved and also grown many friendships within
