I'd also really appreciate some feedback.

My clan is yet to be targeted but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. My clan is fully aware of this issue and I have my admins looking out for it, however there is still many players being effected by this. I'm aware action can't be taken without reports, otherwise you don't actually know who the impersonators & scammers actually are, however I'd like to reiterate my previous comment on a possible font change, or just a change in the one character.

To add to this, "O" & "0" (zero) could perhaps do with a slight change being able to distinguish them better, perhaps by adding a slash through the "0" (zero); http://puu.sh/oIgWb.jpg •

Sadly when I wasn't on this morning a very kind clan members who doesn't have much, ended up getting scammed today through this lure for 125mil. Something seriously needs to change, and I'd like to hear feedback because no matter how much warning I gave it didn't stop this. •

This isn't the first time the i's and l's have been an issue. People have used them before to troll as other known people. And now with this occurring, it's something that HIGHLY needs to be looked at.

I have messaged a few other clan leaders/high ranked players in other clans to warn them and two of these players who are based in the same world as my clan were also targeted by it last night and this morning. It seems they're going through the worlds one by one. •

We were attacked by the i or I issue 2 days ago. A high level , long-term respected player with an i in his name. Several clan members were pmed by the same name with an I asking for a short-term loan . I must admit when I saw the 2 names side by side in my friends list - I could not see the difference.

It is hard when font in game makes it so easy for scammers. We were lucky and a sharp eyed Clan member pmed the real person not the scammer and immediately broadcasted a message in Clan.

It's way too easy and by eye, you cannot tell the difference, so well done to your sharp-eyed clan member! :}

The other issue with this is that there is a bug with the friends list. I believe, but not sure if it only happens when you have 400 players added, and try to add a new friend. It seems to delete a random person on your FL to make room to add that new friend, so with this being said, saying; "Surely you'd know it's not them when you have to add them" doesn't really apply. This bug has deleted deputy owners etc from my friends list.

The best we can do until we receive feedback is continue to make our clan members aware of this issue and demand extra care to be taken. •

Scam attempts get a mute. High value scamming gets a ban. I think checking trade history of every report and the chat history from both accounts is a lot of work. Especially when people report a scammer that scammed someone else. So I guess they only take action if an account gets highlighted a lot.

I have acces to a google doc where a group I'm part of notes all scammers and lurers. When I look at that list I can clearly see that people spamming doubling cash or spending 2147m never get banned. But the group chat lurers and other lure methods get perm banned.

That's all info I have :p
