Clan Mute has long been on our list and is something we are actively working on - we'll be rooting through the rest of Clan Permissions Rewrite to find individual features that we can develop independently.
I do not support this. If a person leaves, then their experience in the clan should not be carried forward until they come back.
I realize that sometimes it is not the person leaving (i.e. Rogue Admin) and sometimes it is by mistake. However, if you make a mistake killing a boss, you are still dead.
In the case of clan experience, I feel their previous experience should be taken from the total and they should start over again.

Player's have item's that bring them back to life, so it's as if they never died.
All I'm suggesting is that there is a grace period for members that are accidentally or wrongly kicked, hacked, phished, scammed, or just simply realized their true home is with their previous clan and they made a mistake leaving but immediately join back.
There are people that eventually want to quit because one of the above happened. What would a grace period of 7 days really hurt? I'm begging to hear a reason I can seriously consider for not implementing a grace period for situations mentioned above.
Thanks for posting

At present, I do not know of a system in place where people that are hacked, phished, or scammed get a seven day grace where they get everything back. We've had people in our clan that had to recover their accounts and they did not get their items back and in some cases did not even get their account back. Hacking and phishing is up to the individual to keep their computer safe. Scamming is up to the individual to recoup and come back stronger.
I still do not support. They left or were kicked. Allowances have already been made for them to come back before the seven day wait. I think that is quite enough concession for this situation.
Sure, welcome them back with open arms. Sure, let them come back early instead of waiting seven days. Do not keep their experience in the clan. I see this as a possible way to abuse the system. Leave/come back/leave/ come back. No. Just no.
There are consequences in all things, game and real life. Some of those consequences need to be there and I think this is one.
I would rather see Jagex spending more time on other updates than I would this. There have already been enough concessions made throughout this whole process.
I just think this should not be implemented.

What abuse would there be? The free will of leaving a clan and joining back immediately? Is there a competition I don't know about that rewards people who leave and join their previous clan the most?
All it would do is allow players who truly did not intend to leave the clan they've spent months-years in, to keep their hard-work and time-spent in the clan. A lapse of judgement, a false kick, a false-ban, a phished/hacked account, etc., should not result in punishing a player who immediately returns to their previous clan.
I really appreciate your posting here on the suggestion, thanks

A question for you. Why should this be changed at this point? It wasn't like that before. I see no reason to use JMod time in changing something that was not done before. What specifically makes you think this should happen now?

Youve not exactly said why.
People dont get their stuff back cos its hard to prove and track within the economy not because Jagex think "tough luck"
