Good to see this system being made.

How would it be if the remaining highest 5-10 ranks in the clan (except owner) were able to vote about this? When you vote unanimously, the owner gets replaced by the person that was voted for?

Maybe this could only be possible if the owner has been inactive for a certain amount of time?

As the main reasons put forward for proposing that inactive clan leaders should be removed is a lack of owner permissions why not wait until Mod Maz has finished working on the permission re-write? That way every clan leader can devolve whatever permissions they think are needed to their next in command if they happen to be inactive.

Seems to me you will be pleasing everyone this way. Unless ofc the main reason someone would want a clan leader to be removed was so they could take ownership and it had very little to do with permissions and the smooth running of the clan.

I propose we have a little patience until the permission re-write comes out.

That would sound like a possibility, unless the clan owner has to be on to grant the other permissions. Our clan owner has not been on in several months. In the meantime, we are completely stuck. We cannot make any changes to citadel, cannot make any major rule changes, etc. Our clan has grown since then, but we have to get the owner on to facilitate anything. We have sent her numerous messages via skype, which is the only way we know to reach her. She has not even logged into skype in that time.

Edit - By several months I am guessing 5-6 months since she last logged in. At that point, she logged in for 5 minutes to the best of my memory, we got some changes done, then she logged out. We talked her out of giving up clan owner rank, but we also did not know that she would be absent this long, or that we would be unable to reach her any other way.

This System is gonna be good for Clans who have been working hard without a Leader's Presence (which is the most Disturbing and Annoying thing). But we also have to ensure that the System is not abused, Say some group got a grudge on a leader and hates his guts and decide to use the system to remove him.

Although, My Clan has been going well without a Leader, But everyone's tired of not seeing the Leader and they are happy that the Mods are working on something to Not only Help us, but also to help other clans who suffer the same problem as us.

Hope you Mods get this vote thing done quickly and we hope to expect a Positive amount of Votes coming back to you saying 'Aye' to the System.
