Thanks Blasty, been using your logger for 5 years. When it stopped working on 24th I was in panic.

Bit annoying though, I specifically asked Mod Rascasse if any API's were going to change with the elimination of the wiki pages and they said no.

and my clan is now in but was wondering would there be a way for you to add whos capped at citadel etc?

Currently, there isn't an API for automatically checking if people have capped, so it would have to be a manual process. The Website & Forums section would be the best way to request API changes to the web development team.

any way to have a system in place on saying when a player has joined a clan? such as the date, like for example owner mccoy joined clan on 26:8:2016 because i have a rank system that grants those who been in clan for 7 days to get a rank up from recruit to corporal.

My clan's approach to this has been to rank people up regularly based on which row they can be found in from the past week or so. Since the requirement is 1 week, it only involves checking the top 7 rows which is a quick check.

Determining join date automatically can get tricky without manual input because there isn't enough automatically accessible information to always be accurate. Runeclan or searching through the spreadsheet can give you the dates.

How do we add these suggested features? Is there a way we can have it updated to show when people actually joined the clan and players activity for inactive players?

The suggested features on the first page were some of the suggestions people offered at a time when I was looking to make improvements to the spreadsheet. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to find the time to make big improvements for now, but I would recommend using spreadsheet functions to see what can be done with a bit of customization.

Thanks for your question, I'll make changes to the first page to help clarify things.

Hmm, it's possible that the spreadsheet may be a previous version which doesn't import from the library.

If the spreadsheet has data with a similar format, the following steps should work:
1. Make a new spreadsheet by clicking here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=120ee1yudfcBuXN4dbZtw0eOwjGcBGw6zYnHT625K1Uw&usp=sharing&newcopy=true
2. Copy the Clan Log sheet from the previous spreadsheet into the new one
3. Set up the spreadsheet from the steps in the quote above

The steps above should be able to fix a wide number of possible reasons that the library isn't shown in the list. Let me know if there are still issues, and perhaps we can message in-game to find a solution.

Thanks. Is this better/worse/different than Runeclan? Never really used outside clan trackers but it seems like it would make life easier.

Thanks for your question.

Runeclan is a multi-featured website that lets you compare XP gains with other clans, see clan achievements and see a recent list of joiners and leavers among other things.

I created the spreadsheet in response to a thread where clan leaders wanted to be able to keep track of changes to the clan list. Being a google spreadsheet means that it can be kept private between clan management and customised for your clan. The spreadsheet also shows you which ranks were changed over time, so my clan has been using it to help coordinate rank changes.

I hope that helps with understanding how the spreadsheet can be used. Feel free to use it in any way that you find useful for managing your clan :)

Thanks a bunch Blasty, got it up and working again. Just wanted to say that I've been using this for almost 3 years going now, and it's been really good to have it. Props to you on making such a useful tool!

To add onto your point comparing it to RuneClan, it's also much easier to see general recruitment trends using this rather than with RuneClan.
