===== Section 81: Island Descriptions 1: Arc =====
=== Introduction ===
The 1st region of the Eastern Lands (aka Wushanko Isles), described as the area where westerners are most likely to be found. A mostly tribal region, the rulers are khans and the people are mostly fishermen.

=== Arc Islands ===
- Aminishi: Home to the Acolytes of Seiryu. There is a larger island to the south, separated from the north island by a channel shallow enough to be waded through. The khan of Aminishi lives on the north isle. The Assassin (Ling) can be physically found here.
- Cyclosis: Not much is currently known of this island, other than that it is the only known home of the eastern Cyclopes. Unlocked via the standard voyage "Cyclosis" that also unlocks the crew Cyclops.
- Goshima: The city of Gongdung is found here. The inhabitants of Goshima are distrustful of non-humans such as sirens, cyclopes and sea singers.
- The Islands That Once Were Turtles: 3 largely uninhabited islands in The Arc. Legend says they were once giant turtles that were somehow turned to stone.
- Tuai Leit: Known for its bamboo. If a westerner has met a seasinger, soothsayer, or siren, it was likely here; it is a minor center of study and research for those not enamored of the civilized east.
- Waiko: A trade hub where the player may exchange their gathered resources and processed resources for chimes and purchase supplies for exploration of the Uncharted Isles. A merchant island with a thriving slave trade. Eastern and western ships, crews and merchants can be found here. The Architect (Lydilla) can be physically found here.
- Whale's Maw: Described as having seas teeming with fish (11 Fishing spots for sillago and seerfish) and turtles (22 tortle spawns for Hunter), which draw whales in to feed. The legendary whale Shuma is often found here. The Whaler (Hubbub) can be physically found here.

=== Introduction ===
The Skull is a region within the Wushanko Isles found north-east of The Arc. It is the 2nd region opened up by the player advancing through the Player Owned Ports minigame. It is a heavily fortified area in fear of an invasion from the West, possibly due to its proximity. The area is known to have gunpowder, which the Khans use to maintain a warlord status in the area.

=== Skull Islands ===
- Ai Jei: Biggest island of the Skull. Produces gunpowder to trade with the rest of the Wushanko Isles, it also produces apples. The ruling khan is territorial and hostile to westerners.

- Hanto: Ruled by a tyrannical khan who closed the island to trade. According to captains with a specific trait, the khan executes his people publicly.
- Hyu-Ji: Home of the Sea orphans. Ruled by a khan known as Tubjub, and later Marcus Fine (The Convict). Unlocked via a trio storage voyage with the Biologist & Convict & Missionary.
- 'Reggie's' Gunpowder Mills: Where the best gunpowder in the region is produced. Unlocked via a clue voyage with the Trapper (Reginald Wellington-Smythe).
- Seeker Synapse: A living island that many assume to be an evolved sea monster, but is in actuality a large Seeker from Daemonheim. It has a brain at its center and other seekers act as its sensory system. Unlocked via the story voyage "The Brain" with the Occultist.
- Siren's Shell: Home of the seasingers. Unlocked via the standard voyage "The Siren's Shell" that also unlocks the crew Siren Whalerider.
- Thalassia: Where sulphur is mined for gunpowder production. At the center of the island is a massive jade palace, built by Thalassia's khan.

===== Section 83: Island Descriptions 3: Hook =====
=== Introduction ===
The Hook is the 3rd region within the Wushanko Isles accessible by the Player Owned Ports minigame, found east of The Arc and south east of The Skull. The Hook is less settled than The Skull. Apart from deposits of black slate, which is quarried by a dispersed population of mining colonies, it is otherwise mostly barren and a fine place for those seeking solitude for whatever reason.

=== Hook Islands ===
- Bay of Playful Sirens: Honazo, a crabbing town, stands in a wide and peaceful bay here.
- Carlos's Fusion Kitchen: Named for the restaurant and hotel established by the Chef (Carlos Napp).
- Hubbub's Lovetubs: An island that serves as a spa for sirens.
- Teardrop Islands: Named not for their shape or anything that goes on there, but for the proliferation of waterfalls that fill the air with mist and spray.
- The Earthquake Straits: The sea between these two islands is an unfathomable depth, a rift of stone from which earthquakes are born.
- The Fistmarks of Genma: The scientific and superstitious disagree on what came to form the knuckle-shaped depressions indenting the entire surface of this island. The Fist of Fury is found on the Fistmarks of Genma. The Gulf of Fury is north of the Fistmarks of Genma.
- The Forgotten Chimera Straits: The Chimera Isles are here. Since the straits are used by smugglers, a number of inns and smuggling dens can be found on the isles. Unlocked via the standard voyage "The Chimera Straits" that also unlocks the crew Feral Chimeras.
- Rapa Causeway: Vast columns of black stone erupt from the ground across the length of this island; one can walk from coast to coast without ever touching the soil. The Onyx Obelisk is found north of the Rapa Causeway.
- Rei Ti: A mining colony originally built to dig for black slate; it has become highly prosperous since discovering large quantities of high-quality gems.

===== Section 84: Island Descriptions 4: Scythe =====
=== Introduction ===
The Scythe is the 4th region within the Wushanko Isles accessible by the Player Owned Ports minigame, found east of The Hook. The Scythe is a large island chain covered in cherry trees. The many soothsayers and seasingers of the area often provoke their khans to wage war upon each other; this and the preponderance of sea monsters make the Scythe dangerous to traverse.

From what the barmaid tells the player, there are a number of Purists in this region that belittle and insult those affected by the affliction that gives humans parts of normally-fish anatomy; these afflicted are commonly known as sea orphans.

=== Scythe Islands ===
- Aloft Dagger: This large island is the home of the soothsayers, where they are educated before they practice their arts elsewhere.
- Haranu: The island of Haranu is awash with cherry forests. The island was once home to occultists before they were rounded up and executed by the Scythe's khans; a renegaded group returned to the island only to be outed by the convict.
- Jade Straits: This is a narrow pass that has been the scene of many battles. It is now used by jade traders. Here the Whaler tried to set a blockade against Shuma (the giant whale).
- Ren Bo: Swift currents, strong winds and a remarkably stable microclimate make the average temperature of this island lower than its neighbors.
- The Island of Clear Eyes: An island mentioned in whispers as a place where the mind is made sharper, the senses clearer and meditation more effective.
- The Islands that Reflect the Moon: This is an area renowned for its hospitality and hot springs. Beyond the odd cave giant, the island chain is a paradise.
- Winds' Home: The prevailing winds around this island change daily, some say on the whim of the sea witches who live here. Unlocked via the standard voyage "The Wind's Home" that also unlocks the crew Sea Witch.

===== Section 85: Island Descriptions 5: Bowl =====
=== Introduction ===
The Bowl is the 5th region within the Wushanko Isles accessible by the Player Owned Ports minigame, found southeast of The Scythe. Rich in jade, a draw to pirates and prospectors alike. The khans of the Bowl are more interested in wealth and luxury than in military or political power, an attitude which draws merchants as thickly as flies.

=== Bowl Islands ===
- Crescent Isle: An outpost of the khans' power, heavily fortified. Serves as a center of frontier justice and bureaucracy. Unlocked via the standard voyage "Crescent Isle" that also unlocks the crew Judge of Dice.
- Falling Blossom: An island renowned for its geishas, as well as hibiscus gardens and beautiful scenery. It is ruled by its khan, Oroshu.
- Glittercaves: A cave network made bright by large outcrops of quartz and salt. Home to Shuma the whale.
- Isle of Juniper: Declared taboo for settlement by an ancient khan; now overgrown with juniper groves and a rare haven for land-dwelling beasts.
- Kei Pi: The people of Kei Pi are renowned for their energy and their hedonism, although some say that the vicious group of pirates known as the Pin operate out of a hidden base here.
- Shattered Beams: A fishing village built on stilts. Once home to the Whaler; since obliterated. Still home to the Old Man of the Sea, who can psychically link to sea monsters. Unlocked via the Whaler story voyage "The Old Man of the Sea".
- Tattanogi: The pirates of this island have an unusual reputation for decency.
- The Island of Regret: Adventurers that go ashore will begin to lose their memories. Unlocked via the Memory clue voyage "Life Without Regrets".
- Tokoko: Training islands for the Death Lotus assassins. It is also pockmarked with fishing villages, which form a useful cover.

===== Section 86: Island Descriptions 6: Pincers =====
=== Introduction ===
The Pincers is the 6th region within the Wushanko Isles accessible by the Player Owned Ports minigame. This is where Felix the Black Marketeer lived before beginning his journey to the West. Its khans have armies of ships and soothsayers and wage war against each other at a whim. Quin lives here, in the palace known as Paradise.

The islands are joined together by massive bridges and dams in a failed attempt to engender togetherness and trust. It is a hotbed of intrigue and betrayal. Steel production here bolsters the massive shipping industry.

=== Pincers Islands ===
- Ashihama: A heavily fortified island known for the refinement and ambition of its citizens.
- Flou Tar-Shei: Officially accorded neutral ground, this island is a place of peace. Khans can relax here, if nowhere else.
- Khanoka: The diplomatic capital of the Eastern Lands, and the site of the Halls of Reckoning.
- New Heritage: The most populous city of all the Eastern Lands. The city is largely built on the coast, with some smaller buildings built into a mountain.
- Paradise: Home of Quin, the seasinger. A small island, surrounded by sea monsters, with jungle and a single palace on four white pillars. Unlocked via the trio story voyage "Assault on Paradise".
- Shambling Lair: Rumor abounds of a tiny island where two-headed beast sorcerers bind the drowned dead to their service. Unlocked via the standard voyage "The Shambling Lair" that also unlocks the crew Oxhead and Horseface.
- The Hole in the World: On this island stands a great hole that has never been explored. Pirates dump bodies here, and the Occultist sought death within.
- The Pearl Fortress: Headquarters and stronghold of the Death Lotus assassins. Unlocked via the Assassin story voyage "The Death Lotus".
- Yamada Island: A major cultural center and focus of social gathering.

===== Section 87: Island Descriptions 7: Loop =====
=== Introduction ===
The Loop is the 7th region within the Wushanko Isles accessible by the Player Owned Ports minigame, found far from the West, giving the resource Terracotta. The islands are protected by a great reef that is very dangerous to navigate. Some say the reef changes shape like it is alive, while others have claimed it is due to geological instability in the area. The pearls recovered from the reef are very valuable.

=== Loop Islands ===
- Dhar Pei's Vantage: The inhabitants of this island are thought of by other Wushanko peoples with a genuine - if occasionally condescending - fondness. They have an undeserved reputation for dyspraxia.
- Light Under Sea: A faint actinic glow under inky waters is the only sign that wisps inhabit the coral caves honeycombing the stem of this tiny island. Unlocked via the standard voyage "Light Under Sea" that also unlocks the crew Wisp.
- Straits of the Oyster Pearl: The great fortress-city in these straits, known as the Bubble of Mists, is the center of the pearl trade in Wushanko.
- The Reef that Lies to Mapmakers: Most of the coral formations of this reef lie below the surface; only the unusual formation known as the Spires of Grief is large enough to house its own city.

===== Section 88: Island Descriptions 8: Shield =====
=== Introduction ===
The Shield is the 8th (final) region within the Wushanko Isles accessible by the Player Owned Ports minigame. Not much is known about these far-off islands. Rare koi have been known to congregate in the surrounding waters, and khans send mining expeditions to the islands to find rich veins of minerals and jewels before their rivals.

=== Shield Islands ===
- Bladewing Crag: This island is almost entirely unpopulated. Those brave souls who defy this convention contend daily with the indigenous bladewing population.
- Exile's Point: A man could survive on this island - just about - eating raw seabird eggs and sour lemonberries. It is not recommended. Unlocked via the standard voyage "Exile's Point" that also unlocks the crew Kharidian Exile.
- Isle of Adamant: Adamant is a rare sight in the Eastern Lands; significant deposits on this inhospitable rock give it its name and its wealth.
- Kami-Shima: The island was kept secret and well-hidden by the Tengu due to its extremely high levels of magic and anima, which causes it to be the source of the various sea monsters, which are also created from anima. It also acts as the center force of an energy barrier similar to the Edicts of Guthix which protects the Eastern Lands from the influence of the gods.
- Tengu Archipelago: This island chain is named not for the legendary bird-demons but for ten equally legendary local sages known as the Gu.
- The Faraway Place where Things are Kept: Island is empty except for an entrance to a resource dungeon offering 1 of 2 chests for a random reward.
- The Island that is Blamed for Nothing: 600 men and women died exploring this island. All was forgiven when the massive azure lodes were discovered here.
- The Lair of Tavi and Vynal: A jewel of culture within the bleak black rock; it is said that the finest musicians in the East or West can be found here.
