Always use Jade Merchant (+30%) or Terracotta Merchant (+33%) on every single one of these voyages. If they fail, you can always repeat them the next time the adventurer shows up.
Of note, if you are partially successful on the voyage, you will earn only 20% of the rewards (+12% of the rewards for each Opportunist trait you have on board the ship), but you will get to repeat the reward voyage the next time it appears until you succeed.
Fortune of the Sea (+10%) is optional, but it is useful for the Biologist's 25 Ancient Bones voyage.
