Mudskipper Point is part of the "deep in the jungle" -clue area :P

soon as I let the penguin leave Mudskipper Point I got Port Sarim clue almost immediately.

With help of Moon and Lori it is proven now :D Moon went to reset Musa Point back to its respawn and Lori helped me get this bush back on Mudskipper point.
4th clue after Musa Point was reset I got "where banana smugglers dwell". The next clue was "deep in the jungle".

I have updated posts 1.6, 1.9, 1.10, 2.3, and 2.6 accordingly.

In the search for the mystical Mudskipper clue I have found and area South West of Rimmy craft shop in a different music section.
It is only 30 squares big, and doesn't seem to give the same music selection as the banana section on Kara, oddly seems to be the same as Brimhaven but that's a bit far away.
We hope to get a penguin there this evening to check for the clue so watch this space...

Edit: This small spot is probably either the Banana clue, or Asgarnia.
Judging by the music, and frequencies, we think it is the banana clue.
The hunt will continue for the mudskipper clue.

Great find Powo :)
I wouldn't be surpriced if this area would be "near the mud skippers" (was this the way it was spelt in the text box?). But then again it might still belong to Port Sarim area also. Banana smugglers clue and Asgarnian clue seem less likely I think.

Although many, if not most of the clue borders are running on music borders, there are lots and lots of music borders that are not clue borders.
I have also found clue borders that are not following music borders, not even what I have called hidden music borders, where the change in music was only noticed when logging out and back or stepping over visible music border (where you see the change on your music interface also). I am not sure if there has been some change in how music is being played and can hidden music borders be found any longer.

Also the music played often but not always hints to the clue area. And some clues are not so straight forward as for example south of Ardougne.
Best example is "near bees and flax" wich isn't pointing to the flax field and bee hives west of Catherby but to the area east of Sinclair Mansion and to the area on the most northwest corner of White Wolf Mountain, and possibly to just some squares by the lake shore southwest from Fremennik Slayer Cave, where the music is same as on east of Sinclair Mansion. I am not sure if the music on the northwestern corner of WWM is the same though. There is one bee hive on Sinclair Mansion garden but I haven'f found flax anywhere very close.

What time you are thinking of the checking. I would love to be there.

Hi,
We herded the one from Seers there last night and checked the suspicous spot Pow talked about ^^
I only got the banana smugglers clue and Asgarnia clue. No Port Sarim clue. Talked to Chuck about 30 times, then gave up.
Still have Feldip to herd there so if there are any areas you think we could check, let us know :)

"Although many, if not most of the clue borders are running on music borders, there are lots and lots of music borders that are not clue borders."
Thanks, that answers the question I was going to ask tonight.
If not all clue borders are music borders that does make the search for the mud skipper clue harder.
I am pretty sure I copied the text exactly from the clue.

Near mud skippers -clue area found!
And also clue confirmed for the odd area Pow found yesterday - "where banana smugglers dwell" on south coast of Rimmington!
Super :D
But more of this tomorrow, it's 5 am for me.

Thanks for the fun Lori, Pow, Pink and Boomer :)

"Near the mud skippers" clue is activated on a very small area on the southward bump on coast west of Skippy, whose hobby is to wander up and down that bit of coastline, bellowing random threats (to mudskippers) and throwing bottles.
It is only two rows of squares (5 + 2) on latitudes 0'52'' north and 0'50'' north.

There is also an area on Rimmington south coast activating "where banana smugglers dewll" clue. This area is south of latitude 1'13'' north and west of longitude 15'43'' east. Its northeastern corner is on the 3rd square diagonally southwest from Rimmington craft shops southwestern corner.
While proving this area on w 24 the Musa Point penguin was on "deep in the jungle" -clue area and other roamer penguins were trapped in Fally Farm (in the kingdom of Asgarnia) and in the east of Draynor manor special trap (in the kingdom of Misthalin).

I have updated posts 1.6, 1.9, 1.10, 2.4, and 2.6 accordingly.

Just when everything seemed almost boring regarding clues we get 2 weeks period with 4 new or previously unknown clue areas :P :D :D :D
This week is also interesting/confusin in clue wise. 3 roamer penguins, one western and two eastern.
But, we also have closed area penguins with same respawn area clues as roamers, and closed area clues that are stretching over those borders penguins can get to.
And, to add to this, we have Wildy penguin wich can (or could two weeks ago) activate "somewhere in RuneScape" clue.

Western Castle Wars (south of Ardougne) penguin is the clear case. Depending on wether it heads south or north it may end up trapped in Oo'glog boulder trap (near some ogres), in Keep Le Faye special (near coast, west of Ardougne), in Seers anvil or churchyard (somewhere in the kingdom of Kandarin) or on Catherby docks (near a mountain of wolves).
Ice Mountain penguin respawns on "in the kingdom of Asgarnia" -clue area and its only eastern self trapping spot is east of Draynor Manor trap (in the kingdom of Misthalin). Ice Mountain has a good possiblity to activate "in the Wilderness" clue if it is on area behind Black Knights Fortress or by Wildy ditch.
Digsite penguin has same respawn clue as Sawmill penguin "in the kingdom of Misthalin", but it also has possibility to activate "where bloodsuckers rule" if on the area of Paterdomus Temple, and also Wilderness clue if by Wildy ditch. Closest self trap for it is also east of Draynor Manor.

All of this weeks roamers, but most likely Ice Mountain and possibly Digsite also, have a possibility to activate "where banana smugglers dwell" clue on south coast of Rimmington and "near mud skippers" clue close to it on coast west from Skippy.
They may also activate "deep in the jungle" clue if they get on Mudskipper Point.

Wildy penguin then, formerly with only one possible clue, has now (or had 2 weeks ago) possiblitiy to roam on Daemonheim area and activate "somewhere in RuneScape" clue. I have not yet checked the entrance my self and don't know if it may get there on its own, or is there a natural barrier and it needs help to pass it.

This weeks brings up also lots more clue testing, with Wildy penguin and with some clue borders that are only defined by using music borders and map as tools.
Anyone interested on this kind of a new herding challenge is most welcome to help.

/ / \ Clue analysis of the week - v88 on Penguin Locations thread is updated on post 2.5 / \ \
v_/_ ...................................................................................................................................................._\_v

This week offers us only one roamer penguin, the Mudskipper Point (deep in the jungle).
Its interesting respawn area clue was found just less than two weeks ago as "deep in the jungle" is also the respawn area clue for both Central Karamja penguin and Eastern Karamja penguin, of wich one is always accompanying Mudskipper.
Being an eastern penguin Mudskipper does not get selftrapped easily. Only eastern selftrap is East of Draynor Manor special (in the kingdom of Misthalin). If Mudskipper roams northwest to Taverley it may also cross the White Wolf Mountain and end up on traps around that area: Catherby dock (near a mountain of wolves), Seers anvil or churchyard (somewhere in the kingdom of Kandarin) and Keep Le Faye (near a coast, west of Ardougne).

Closed area penguins make this week more challenging. McGrubbors Woods penguin activates always "somewhere in the kingdom of Kandarin" and Lighthouse penguin activates always "between Fremennik and barbarians".
Depending on the routes of Mudskipper, there are chanses of seemingly miss a clue for it, but in reality it is just hiding on Kandarin clue area or Fremennik clue area. Also Central Karamja penguin may add to the confusion as both "deep in the Jungle" and "where banana smugglers dwell" can be activated by Mudskipper.
And to top up confusion, Al Kharid may activate "in the kingdom of Misthalin" and missdirect clue hunters to think Muds is on Misthalin area if the clues point only to McGrubors and Lighthouse penguins.

It is very important to remember to pay attention to missing clues this week.
