I must say I am pretty disappointed with how the oh-so-great FoG update went. It looks as though they decided to scratch the really important changes even though they had the things on their TODO list (or TOTRY? - doesn't look like they tried from my point of view). Actually the only good thing they implemented is the penalty for forfeiters, though I believe my later suggestion to decrease the penalty with increased time spent in the game would have been better.


To address Timo's suggestion for the GOP token formula from the previous page: I think it is mostly okay, though I believe the total number of tokens given to both teams shouldn't be that much higher than it is now (810 for F2P, am too lazy to count the P2P number), so awarding 3.8 to the winning team and 3.2 to the losing team might be better balanced with the current prices.

Defending is worth doing when you are awarded tokens for scoring more orbs than the opposing team, so the system you proposed doesn't bash defending at all while not making it a necessity, which, I believe, is a good thing :)

The FoG update didn't disable Hunted combat or fix stat decrease, nor restore berserker shields and the robes to their former glo-- usefulness, or allow for easy target finding in player stacks. It did add some great new rewards, however, banned healing and fixed some bugs, so it was altogether an incomplete but decent update.

For castle wars and soul wars,
Remove auto path for cades
. A cade is meant to stop someone in their tracks, not to have the game send you on an alternative rout automatically. Auto path gives players on the offence an unfair advantage.

Im not sure how an activity bar would be measured in castle wars because running out to fight other people is not the priority of the game like soul wars.

I do agree that avatars in soul wars are extremely weak and they do need to be buffed. It takes no effort tanking or killing them. A graphical update would be nice to it as well. Expanded click radius for soul fragments is amazing too.

It took me quite a while to realise 'cade' is short for 'barricade', egh...

And no, perhaps killing players is not the priority, but it's certainly the most common activity. I imagine attacking, using catapults or barricades, mining walls or running with the flag would count as activity.
