Patiently waiting to see what is coming our way.
It would be something if we could end up building our own graveyard in our PoH to maintain some...unalived pets...
HA!...idk, its been a long week.

Building our own graveyard will be a great and refreshing story, as we will be well on our way to become the (Under)World Guardian. But this won't happen in our POH at all. It won't happen in Fort Forinthry either. We will then be expanding our Kingdoms and player owned content into the a varitey of Afterlife Worlds.

Seems like the fort will now also become the primary construction training method following the woodcutting rework next week. Being able to utilize a level 90 material, rather than being forced to use t40 junk will really go a long way. Not great for the POH to have that one thing it excels in taken away, but construction as a skill just deserves no longer being taken hostage by ancient "design" decisions. Hmmm...

Ironically a 120 extension suddenly is no longer an imaginable thing, since they want to use level adequate materials at all times - so we would need trees for 100, 110 and 120 first. And this would depend on a woodcutting expansion... and yeah obviously this skill needs to fix its interaction with other relating skills now more than ever. But to be fair - woodcutting easily was the most broken skill in the game so far. It sounds good now, it just poorly interacts with the other things I guess.

Didn't many players complained about construction xp rate being too low in the Fort? It turned out the RS3 team had that plan, and only made it visible with Woodcutter's Grove.

I think they have plenty of other pleasant surprises under their sleeves.

I think they should just graphically overhaul player owned houses completely. Have a option to build a POH portal in the fort as well letting us use the new shiny planks to decorate our house with new furniture, I think magic planks should allow us to building floating table and chairs :D

The new poh space could be a floating island like the clan citadels only smaller which I think makes sense lore wise I hope,

The prob is we now have new planks.
It would make 70+ Construction a lot better to train with now in the PoH.

I would love if they just did some sort of narrow focus:
- 3-4 new flatpacks and items for the PoH for Yew/Magic/Elder
Armchair for 2 plank, Kitchen Table for 3 Plank, Benches for 4 Plank
- Update a few of the higher tier items that don't have flatpacks to use the new planks (you can pretty much just look at each room, and anything that is 70+ that uses Mahog but not a flatpack item, just replace Mahog with the new planks)
- maybe add in like a Magic and Elder Plank Gazeebo or Fence for the gardens.

But .... they would really probably need to:
- rebalance everything
- graphically update everything
- update not just the furniture but also the flatpacks
- add in the new items wherever possible
- update the UI
- who knows what else

In general they also would need to rework the look and feel.

Even with modern graphics for all the stuff I don't think that putting square shaped rooms with paper thin walls look fitting anymore. That was a style that was adequate at the time it was released and that was a style that was adequate for early RSHD. But it genuinely won't look good anymore even with more modern looking assets (which basically still are the same as back then in 2006 for the then released rooms). Just compare it with Daemonheim dungeons (which also are old as dirt) - it employs a similar way of displaying the dungeons - but it certainly would feel more adequate - but obviously it's just not exactly state of the art for that matter.

I agree with the entirety of this thread. These ideas for the rooms are a brilliant idea, and Jagex could learn something from this player, in all honesty.

I dont take credit for majority of the ideas posted in this thread as they're a collaboration of ideas over the many years I've been playing this game.
Bear in mind, that others have had similar ideas to what I have proposed here over the course of the years when forums were super active...now its reddit and discord that gets paid more attention to than here.

Thank you all for the support none the less
