No they did not! Where do you even get that idea from? The combat academy, as I've said before, is NOT like this suggestion AT ALL. You completely misunderstand why it was necessary to do that from a technical point of view (a SERVER point of view)

They didn't just remove pets, they removed everything from sight above a threshold, even players AND you don't have the choice on which is hidden. Very important differences between that and this suggestion. You don't decide how others play their game, you don't have the right. However small this change may be in your eyes, the idea behind it has huge implications. Big picture, mate. Be the change you would like to see in the world.

They didn't do that at all you illiterate. They specifically said other peoples pets do not appear for you, that's all they did, along with making fires around the bank chest no more as well.

They didn't make any threshold to be met. It's as simple as no pets owned by other players can be seenin theat location.
