This has nothing to do with their computers, this isn't about runescape as a whole being demanding. Its specifically about pets playing a factor in people's negative gameplay experience, and it's just you being entitled because you think runescape is that demanding. And you think everybody should be like you, instead of giving people a damn choice about a stupid pet.
The fact you think this is really laughable.
You say it ruins your game experience because they make you lag.
So if you just got a better computer you could deal with them better and this wouldn't need to happen.

I care about boosting everybody's fps. Without forcing them to spend hundreds of dollars. And anybody who wants to show off their pets can do so forever without annoying anybody ever again.

I don't like that as a blanket statement. I mean, there are situations where Jagex is responsible to fix your issues, when bugs are involved. But not meeting requirements (which increase over time, btw, in case you haven't noticed, Whatusaytome) or simply having unrealistic expectations toward performance of your system are not bugs or things for Jagex to fix.
I'm not saying you can't play the game if your system is bad, absolutely not. But you have to set your expectations right. It really all comes down to that. If you expect too much of things in life, you'll spend your whole life disappointed and sour. Who wants that?
I'm 6'8" and I drive a tiny Fiat with the engine of a kitchen blender. It must look downright hilarious, but I can't afford a bigger car right now and I've made peace with that. It's that simple really.

Asking people to world hop just because you refuse to put your pet away makes that problem worse.
With this, they'd be able to stay around you while your pet is being used by you, and they'd stay, unaffected by it. Making them more likely socialize.
Dont act like asking people to move, world jop, or tolerate lagg makes this game more socially friendly.

jagex did this update suggestion partially already, it's not a crime to finish it. And it's not asking as much as you make it out to be either.
You need to realize how small this update actually is. I make a big deal out of how big of a deal you guys are making out of forcing us to see your paid content saying live with it or quit the game. So in all you are entitled. Because you are trying to compare a big guy in a tiny car, to updating pets in a game. Improving the frame rate for thousands of players as they wish.
You refuse it because you overexaggerate the outcome to sound like it harms people. When it doesnt.

You're just virtue signaling now, not fooling me. If you cared about everybody as you say you do, you wouldn't be forcing this on other players. It's just the principle of you putting the "bill" of your
subjective, unrealistic expectations
