I understand there are players that lag, players that hate pets, players that don't care about pets, but I don't think the "bill" for this should therefor automatically go to the players who like them. Again, for the record, I
always
respect the wishes of those around me and if I'm bothering someone, I'll do something about it. It's common decency.
But this thread suggests that others should have the final say in whether or not you are decent in their view, and that's imo a line we should never cross. Again,
players should be free to express themselves within the limits and parameters set by the developer of the game in which ever way they see fit
. If they feel like having a big flapping drake out for the world to see, that's their choice. They unlocked it, they can use it, for whatever reason they see fit.
Pets are a part of the game, whether you like it or not and whether they make you lag or not.
You
do not have the right to tell others how to behave or express themselves, just because
you
have a problem with it.
You
don't set the rules, Jagex does, and I hope they understand that this suggestion is a slippery slope.
Be the change you would like to see in the world.
