There's always going to be pets that due to their movements and/or size cause distraction or make your gameplay a little more difficult to do, but should we have a toggle for everything? The issue of drakes
actually
causing problems for you and not just being annoying in your eyes because you simply don't like the sight of flying drakes, is rare, in those very few cases we can simply hop.
I'm not saying, neither requesting a toggle for everything individually, but who ever needs to see class of legendary cosmetic pets. Those could be completely filtered out with no negative consequences at all.
Yet if people started seeing more and more toggles being added to the game, they'd start asking for more toggles of their own, since if some people got their way by having their unnecessary toggle added, it'd be favoritism not to add those that other people ask afterwards. Realize that there are often consequences to your actions that you might not be aware of yourself; even if you don't ask for more toggles, you pave the way for others to do so, since you don't seem to care at all about the quality of toggles.
Toggles should only added to problems that cannot be feasibly fixed through other means, because long term, the more toggles there are, the more difficult it becomes for Jagex to maintain the game (e.g. certain bugs only occur with certain settings, so having to figure out more combinations makes it take longer to fix them) and the messier the game becomes to manage on the user's end. Drakes can be easily avoided by hopping worlds or switching the location, something that you practically never have to do on most worlds anyway, so there is no mandatory need to add a toggle for them.
