Updating idle animations is a fair suggestion, but I still think either an update to the ignore list, or a toggle, is fair too. There's no benefit to me being forced to see your pet. What does it do for me to see a persons drake? If I'm ignoring the player, why do I still need to see he has a drake?

People complain about the pets and/or what the pet does to them. Can you explain why everybody around you must, at all times, see your pet? If it was a familiar from summoning, that's understandable, but these are pets. They aren't ever dangerous or necessary for us other people.

That's the thing, you don't have to.

Its that you choose to be in the same area as me so you force it on yourself.

Support. Toggles hurt no one else's game-play experience. Those who want it on can have it on and those who want it off can have it off. Literally, there is no concrete reason why it shouldn't exist. I would frequently use this toggle while playing. It's user-side only. Personalized features including the UI and various game mechanics are a plus. The current amount of options there are currently are great, but adding a pet toggle would be lovely.

The player-base should ask for the things it wants to see implemented. Just as people have the right to disagree with it.

The settings, albeit ugly, are pretty straight forwards. Anyone who has issues with navigating the settings will not be affected by a toggle simply because they already have had issues navigating it. To make it easier, the UI for the settings would more intuitive and/or most options would be removed.

Can I also have a toggle for ppl and anything else that bothers me as well?

If not theres no reason for this to happen just because this just so bothers others.

Why cant I get what I want but you lot can?

Cant have favoritism.

There's always going to be pets that due to their movements and/or size cause distraction or make your gameplay a little more difficult to do, but should we have a toggle for everything? The issue of drakes actually causing problems for you and not just being annoying in your eyes because you simply don't like the sight of flying drakes, is rare, in those very few cases we can simply hop.

I'm not saying, neither requesting a toggle for everything individually, but who ever needs to see class of legendary cosmetic pets. Those could be completely filtered out with no negative consequences at all.

Yet if people started seeing more and more toggles being added to the game, they'd start asking for more toggles of their own, since if some people got their way by having their unnecessary toggle added, it'd be favoritism not to add those that other people ask afterwards. Realize that there are often consequences to your actions that you might not be aware of yourself; even if you don't ask for more toggles, you pave the way for others to do so, since you don't seem to care at all about the quality of toggles.

Toggles should only added to problems that cannot be feasibly fixed through other means, because long term, the more toggles there are, the more difficult it becomes for Jagex to maintain the game (e.g. certain bugs only occur with certain settings, so having to figure out more combinations makes it take longer to fix them) and the messier the game becomes to manage on the user's end. Drakes can be easily avoided by hopping worlds or switching the location, something that you practically never have to do on most worlds anyway, so there is no mandatory need to add a toggle for them.

Blackwing sure is one to talk about favoritism. If Jagex can't implement a toggle for pets but can add toggles for Bloom, shadows, lighting detail (which fucks up the game more than any other I've seen) then something is wrong with the dev team. Not the interface.

Why must I move from my work, or be forced to hop worlds because you have a drake? How could you possibly know that I have it hidden if I don't tell you? Why is your drake more important than my gameplay?

Understand the consequences of your own actions for buying the pet. You are now disrupting other players' gameplay and you refuse them the simplest option to better their gameplay.

You complain about clutter, but offer nobody any solutions at all, and you think your own opinion on the topic is the most valid because you personally think we are asking for something impossible, while you leave out anything resembling a solution to the problem. which is a joke considering just how many more useless things they are able to carelessly add to the game settings. None of which you have anything to say about.

Get over yourself dude, it's sad to see nothing about you has changed since I left.
