I'm not saying, neither requesting a toggle for everything individually, but who ever needs to see class of legendary cosmetic pets. Those could be completely filtered out with no negative consequences at all.

One day, your ignorance towards others will reach you.
Everything, ranging from sub-atomic particles to galaxy clusters, has its dynamics predefined. And then there are people claiming that systems like economy, society or other human sub-systems are in our hands.

Ahura: The simple solution is not to hop because often times regardless where you go, any populated area such as any city bank or a grand exchange, or training spot, very well may have people with them. If the pet bothers a person, or if the person themselves are being generally disruptive, the better option is Ignore list them.

My question to you is why should I still see anything about any player I ignore? I am not just ignoring their words, I want to ignore their pet too, which doesn't, and cannot possibly affect me in any positive way. Ever.

Tell me what Draco's Drake does positively for me in my view if I were to ever use my piece of shit computer to play again. I know for a fact the added animations and size of emotes, teleports, as well as the drake flying, all cause lag to many people besides me. And NXT isn't perfect and certainly the legacy client as well has it's known lag issues.

Yes those may be based on the user not having an optimum computer for the game, but if it was meant only for people with money, the population would be dropped to shit. It's never a bad idea to make the game more enjoyable and tolerable for people who experience the bullshit. And it's not a fake reason just because you don't experience it.

Best solution is hide pets of players you ignore, or make seeing them in general a toggle. Neither takes away from the user who owns the pet. They wont even know.

Just like with what they did for achievement banners?

Yes im sure ppl would know ppl don't see them as theres still be others complaining about it and thered be those saying they don't see it for x reason.

So logic is flawed.

The only way they'd know is if they said so. It doesn't change anything about you. You would never know unless they told you, and it doesn't take away from anything you are doing even if they did tell you.

All it does is make for a possible better gameplay experience for the people you actually affect negatively. Those people you don't think exist, yet support this thread and the many others like it.

All you are doing is complaining that you cant show off to every single person, which I never knew was actually important, because I doubt more than 1% of people you see compliment it anyway. Let alone mention it at all. And I'd bet the number of complaints is far greater.

The only reason to deny this option is to force it on everybody regardless if it makes them lag or if they even like it. You are forcing every person around you to leave what they are doing, or to tolerate your annoyance. And that's just rude.

There is a toggle for looking at Virtual Levels. And options for shapes or badges to show your 120s. Tell me how any of that is actually important, rather than simply being a passive effect? And how it's more important than possibly bettering some people's gaming experience?

You clearly don't understand my point. Shocker..

They made an entirely useless toggle that is better suited to be a passive effect for all players at all times. Virtual Levels.

If I wanted to see that I have 100m xp exactly without displaying what level that is... what does that do for me? Does my xp gaining goal change? Do I know what level I am? Do I still get told I leveled up virtually without the toggle on?

What's the actual point of it. What made that toggle so damn important to add, but it's clutter to add a toggle that benefits gameplay?

Can you answer that without sounding like a good-for-nothing Jagex fan?

Jagex thought it was important and that's all that matters.

If you have a problem with why they did something, take it up with them.

Ignore list is designed to filter out all chat from the player who is ignored, not hiding that player from your game window.

An idea I thought of to make drakes less distractive, is to make a change to the 'idea animations' graphic option: when idle animations are deactivated (depends on the option chosen and amount of players around you) not only do players (except yourself) stand frozen when idle, but also their pets are grounded in a neutral stance where they're not moving. You could even add an extra option to choose from on the list under idle animations to have other players’ and their pets’ animations deactivated all the time and not depend it on # of players on your screen.
Feel free to take a look at my suggestions: 200m xp prestige
