Very quick question: with raids, does the ring of wealth only work when wearing it on the tick you kill the boss (switch scape) or does it work on the tick you obtain your loot (which can for instance also be fetcher)? "One should not mindlessly follow gods or the godless:

Thought it was strange I obtained 5 out of 6 legs and tops at beastmaster. Turns out it has nearly the same drop chance as the water snake.

They answered this on Reddit, works when looting the chest and at fetcher.

1/40 chance at a leg piece (Top, Middle or Bottom)

I've seen many returning players get very rare drops with minimal effort. It can't be due to chance. It seems that the game adds in an amount of "luck" every day perhaps. Meaning that "luck" adds up over time. Which is why these returning players get these lucky drops.
It also seems that new accounts have a large amount of "luck" when they first start playing and it goes down gradually. This can't be a coincidence. I am sure there's a system behind that.

yes I assume they went out of their way to code that in for no good reason. totally more reasonable than some people got lucky of the thousands and thousands of active players

But there is a good reason. They'd want returning players to get lucky on drops so they will be more likely to stay and play more. If you play long enough you'll notice this pattern. It's not just random people getting lucky. Returning players definitely have more RNG than the average player.

I think the most ridiculous case is treasure hunter with the outfit promotions where you are likely to get possibly 2-3 pieces on the first free roll but when you use bonds, you only like 1 piece per bond even if you have only 3 pieces. Like gambling they entice you in the beginning with wins but as time passes the "luck" starts to run out. In League of Legends they have this hextech crafting system where you get a lot of skin shards if you are a new player but if you've been playing for a while you get a lot of champ shards which you don't need.

Ya know, I'm more interested in the programming logic being employed for these drop tables than in the drop rates themselves. I love these juicy details of what goes on in the software developers' heads! owo
