doing the maths you need 40,000 weaker necroplasm to make 20,000 lesser necroplasm

rituals without multipliers this will take 200 rituals
with multipliers 154 rituals

you then need to use that 20,000 lesser necroplasm to make 10,000 greater necroplasm

rituals without multipliers this will take 100 rituals
with multipliers 71 rituals

finally you will need to use that 10,000 greater necroplasm to make 500 powerful necroplasm

this will take 50 rituals

all together you will need to complete 350 rituals or with multipliers 275 just to make 250 powerful ghostly ink

dont you think thats a little excessive, im writing this while doing rituals at level 68 out of boredom but i can see a further 4 glyphs covered in dust so may be slightly more, however i do think increasing the input and output will be useful due to the sheer volume of necroplasm required to make a decent amount of ghostly ink just to perform the rituals required to upgrade your armour to tier 90

Once Necromancy isn't considered a recent update, we can move this thread to somewhere more permanent for as long as it's needed.

IMO gathering souls is the excessive part. IF you take that out of the equation, the rest is actually nice. Multipliers are a big part of it, so gaining levels in combat first seems like a better idea.

I'm trying to think of how this all will play out in the future with bonus XP, double xp and all of that. The levels themselves are mostly meaningless.

It's pretty obvious the soul gathering is an important part, to limit progress. I'm thinking there should be an option there, maybe cut the gathering in half and then we get another urn to store souls in.

But they are random(ish) drops from monsters. I know they want to reduce the RNG with this system, but friendly RNG is always welcome.

I might change my mind later, but I feel like the ink should be untradeable. If future players with fast levels can skip that part and go right into multiplied souls, that doesn't seem right.

Combined with my post above about making souls also farmed in combat, the trade-off could be requiring the players go through the process to make all of their ink. Forever.

The wandering ghost has a sound, but it is too similar to the sounds made while performing the ritual. An alternate ghost voice is the booooooer.

Not only is that a lot more cool, but nobody would confuse it with anything else. Ever.

Another feature related to the ritual is the soul attraction meter. This is for the wandering ghosts, etc. (at least I think it is)

What I would do is make the ghost heads on the meter change color when the distraction appears. But one tick early, because we adjust the user experience for game ticks. And the color change would be obvious. Arcade style.

So far I am really enjoying the Necromancy Update. My only feedback would be about the Ritual Disturbances. The Sparkling Glyphs disappear before I can even get to them most of the time and when I click on the Wandering Souls to dismiss them, my character stops walking halfway there and I end up missing it unless I click on it several times. Also the Ritual minigame window should say what input resources you are using.

updated a few points mentioned or added to existing points

also added an issue with the ability cooldown for bloated and finger of death refreshing too quickly making it near impossible to get adrenaline past either 30% or 80% depending which one your using

Everything needed for rituals are stacked/can be placed noted in the chest, the bank is not that important... Plus with a few spirit runes you can directly teleport to the ritual site....

But for a combat skill, the artisan/gathering aspect that you must do is a bit too much... Would be nice if there was a way to get souls without rituals but maybe less efficiently...
