The pre change death costs weren't that bad and the new one overcompensated. 1M - 10M only cost you 90K. Now 1M costs you 30.5K and 10M costs 120.5K. People who are risk averse will avoid high death risks unless they're basically free. At some point you just have to accept that not everyone is willing to die trying to boss and that you shouldn't nerf the risks just to get more people in it. There are also a bunch other issues with how they handled the death costs in that regard, which I made my own thread to discuss. The overly high death cost reduction is why we have a 2% tax instead of a more satisfactory economy fix. How to block a forum user

Just most people won't run around in GWD1-esque equipment - for which your numbers roughly fit and which was even free to reclaim from your grave actually, since it doesn't degrade there - and rather had had death costs in the millions - and depending on the gear possibly even much more than that.

You undercut it much more than that if you do not want to wait in the first place. The fee hasn't ruined anyone in OS, it hasn't ruined anyone here and it won't ruin you. Just get that out of your head, you don't need to trade manually. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
