I'll keep lobbying for it.

Why would I be pleased about not needing to grind them? Currently I'm stuck with Auras I don't want because they aren't as they were described.

I hadn't actually bought that, but people who had, yes, the option should have been given.

That is no benefit to me though - I bought them as Loyalty Point exclusive unlocks, not as items to use. Once they were removed from LP they were no longer what I purchased. If at some point later in time I decide I want them in order to use them, then I might decide to earn MoW in order to. But I don't want them.
