Completely serious. I'm agreeing with you that how many Loyalty Points someone already has is irrelevant. Even if I had no use for extra Loyalty Points I'd want the auras refunded because they aren't what I purchased.

How so? SGS started out with a LP only shop but very soon they added Runecoins and since then many items have been changed from LP only to either Runecoins only or a mix. That was over 7 years ago.

First you completely misunderstand the purpose of LP, and Auras aren't the only "mis-sold" LP items, this has been how Jagex been doing with SGS, LP and Runecoins all along these 7+ years.

Yes, some items changed currency and at the time of the last adjustment the precedent was re-set that Loyalty Point items were exclusive to Loyalty Points and RuneCoin items were exclusive to RuneCoins.

I believe that any instance of mis-selling where an item was advertised as being exclusive to Loyalty Points should have the option of removal and refund should the innocent buyer wish.

They never said anything is exclusive. My first post on this page already totally destroyed your claim of exclusivity.

I don't see your post is getting anywhere as you are just repeating the same thing in every post. Obviously Jagex is not going to refund everything every time when somebody made a false claim of "exclusivity"... hint hint... they are not going to refund tokkuls for obby items in both of their games when they made them dropped from other sources like clue scrolls and some mobs.

Im still waiting to hear how you came up with the thought about auras being exclusive as thats clearly false.

Well - they meanwhile have removed even more stuff from solomon. And that literally were the sole updates to it in 2020 and 2021 so far. You can take it for granted by now, they will eventually consolidate the loyality system (which hadn't seen any updates for way longer than that) into something else.

And considering they hadn't had any data about how many rare item tokens (another years long abolished MTX system, that was consolidated into something else) one day later... Do you really think they do even know, that you even had those auras before the PvM hub? Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

Considering the backlash to the recent Rare Item Tokens update, I don't think that will happen in the near future.

Also I know with 100% certainty that Jagex knows I had the auras before PvM Hub, and they can very easily check this by looking at my account and seeing that I have not unlocked the song from there.

You won't get a refund.

You paid for the ability to use them before those who couldn't or didn't want to buy them with Loyalty.

I also bought all of these auras years ago when each of them was first released. I have no issue with this change because I easily got my worth out of them.


People seriously need to stop thinking they're entitled to some sort of special treatment because they did something "before it was (insert stupid concept here)."

The game changes.

I'm not here requesting a refund for the 20m I spent on an abyssal whip back when they were first released because I still own it and it's not as valuable as it used to be.

I'm not here demanding a refund for the onyxes I used to craft rings of stone in the past before they updated them to no longer require an onyx.

Anyone who didn't see this update coming was either not paying attention or lying to themselves. These auras have become almost a necessity in end-game pvm content and they were locked behind a currency you had no way to work towards. Now with added
