The sequel is member's only and in different game. I am not sure if OSRS content had been added to regular RuneScape.

I was thinking about actual non-quest boss like f2p like giant mole, KBD, and Chaos Elemental. Is there any more non-quest related bosses? Like you said dragon slayer is finale of f2p quest. The boss fight will be unlock after beating dragon slayer, in Volcano or Crandor area.

I knew you meant a regular boss. My point was simply that your suggestion reminded me of something I had heard of in OSRS.

I brought it up because I thought there was a repeatable boss fight unlocked after completing Dragon Slayer 2. I might be wrong about that, as I've only played RS3.

DS2 as a sequel basically starts out further exploring elvarg's lair to find reasons behind her - for a dragon - fairly elaborate behaviour but quickly turns out messing around in the past and the shenanigans of a dragonkin, that only was shown in a flashback in RS3.

The repeatable boss mentioned is an undead blue dragon named vorkath - which was brought up alongside the island he resides on in the latest RS3 quest, with heavy implications we'll actually visit that place in the sequel. Albeit with the fort series on hold, it will take a while until we see him. It's extremely likely he'll be involved in necromancy somehow.

In general both games already have adapted content from one another, with zuk being the most notable addition for us, which is considered the hardest solo challenge in OS. But other than that OS continues existing quest series with some variations (like the vampyres, which basically runs the same way overall, but has different nuances or even aspects, that weren't explored at all in the original series) or even entirely unique (like the mahjarrat, which don't have too much in common with the original RS2 quests). No matter how - both kinds of continuations have the advantage authors are able to make use of a more elaborate set of lore, which makes the series feel more well thought.

I haven't seen such a list for RS3 though so far, but zuk and vorkath would be extremely significant examples. Anachronia as a spin to OS's fossil island certainly wouldn't be - it's way too unique for that.

We have a lot of non-quest f2p bosses in RS3 not naming giant mole, KBD and Chaos Elemental. Noticeably we have Hollowtoof, Algoroth and Dragith Nurn. If you progress through Dungeoneering, there are also a bunch of f2p bosses.

OSRS and RS3 share the same timeline before the existence of our player character(s), so there are going to some shared lore between the 2 games, prior to a certain 5th Age day when we created our characters. However, due to the stark differences between the productions and communities of the 2 different games, all the new f2p bosses in RS3 aren't in OSRS. Even for Giant Mole which exists in both RS3 and OSRS, it is f2p only in RS3.

Dragon Slayer rework yes please.

Have the quest be Fully Voiced, make the f2p finale.

With Vorkath coming out, they can use it to hype up the quest for members.

One thing the quest needs is updating the Champions' Guild itself.

33 Quest points is very easy to get now, in just the f2p world alone.
I say remove the 33 OP requirement.

Put May's Quest Caravan, inside the Champions' Guild.

Make the Champion's Challenge f2p.

Agree:
-May's Quest Caravan
-Champions' Challenge

Disagree:
-Quest Point requirement

The Champions' Guild is for those who have proven themselves by completing quests. Taking away the QP requirement would defeat the significance of the guild. It would also take a lot of the accomplishment out of Dragon Slayer.

Dragon Slayer has no skill requirements for non-Ironmen. Removing the only hard requirement would allow just anyone to walk up to the Guildmaster and start the quest. In addition to taking away much of the prestige and significance, removing the only requirement would also potentially set players up to fail, as it would create the misleading expectation of an easy quest.

Neutral/Ambivalent:
-Voice acting
-Vorkath hype

Voice acting is a rare luxury. However, if any quest should be voice acted, the climax of the free game should be.

With Vorkath upcoming as a new boss, the moment does seem ripe for more Crandor lore by proxy of Elvarg.

It deserves to have post game unlock additions, not just unlocking tier 50 body armor.

For the record, equipping a rune platebody doesn't even require Dragon Slayer anymore since the Mining & Smithing Rework.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

True; it doesn't really offer a substantial reward anymore. All the more reason to introduce better rewards.
