The Arrentinian Olympic Committee will nominate Anchorage for the Winter Olympic Bid.


Also, come time the Olympics, an active nations list will be posted to make the selection process easier for medal counts.

With the Winter Olympics being the buzz of the world, Arrentinian Officials are hoping that the city of Anchorage will be the site of the up coming games. Even though parts of the city are still rebuilding after the long battle for Anchorage during the 200 Year War, officials hope that a nod for Anchorage to hold the Olympics will get the city back on track. Most of the city is still cleaning up the picturesque mountains that remain littered with debris from ships and aircraft shot down during the war. In other districts, remains of civilians are still being dug up as workers begin replacing the old structures with more modern buildings and homes. Even though Anchorage can be ready for the Olympics in a few days, Arrentinian Officials are hoping that the games will show that Arrentine as come a long way from its devastating war.

In other news, Arrentinian Border guards engaged in a brief firefight along the Porschestani State border after finding a unauthorized road being used by insurgents. Arrentinian Officials destroyed the road and have secured the area after killing 20 insurgents and arresting 13. The insurgents are likely to face the death penalty or life in prison for crimes against the PCR. Since Arrentine established border checks with Porschestan, rebel movements from Arrentine to Porschestan have fallen dramatically with constant surveillance over the border along with the Defensive Net halting all traffic to and from in very remote areas. President Sithlord Man II said that these actions will help our allies in the State of Porschestan win their civil war and begin rebuilding.

Not many things of interest, but its a big one, except for a popular study which suggests the center of the universe may actually be an omnipotent ruler which may control the entire universe in the gaze of its almighty, all seeing eye. There is little evidence except century old artifacts of our people's pasts suggesting that there may be a ruler of the universe as we know it. This concept has amazingly caught the attention of nearly the entire nation, thousands of people becoming greatly involved in the idea, and ultimately creating a percentage of the population to believe with faith in this little researched deity. There have been no government responses yet but many people believe that this is concerning them in that they may lose say in their nation.

Yet another one of the TGE's quantum-physics based technologies, the Uncertainty Cloak takes advantage of two fundamental principles of quantum physics (the de Broglie hypothesis and Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle) to create a new form of probability-based cloaking that defeats conventional sensor technologies; though it would be ineffective in high-end stealth operations, it is perfect for wartime operations.

Based on the de Broglie hypothesis, every piece of matter has a wave-function, an equation that isolates the probability of it being in any one location at any one time. According to the Uncertainty Principle, the more accurate the measurement of an object's position, the lower the accuracy of the measurement of its momentum, and vice versa.

Applying the two, the TGE has managed to create a system placed the object 'under' the cloak in a state of uncertainty (or existential flux) using an array of probability engines and quantum observers, such that any measurement made of its position (or estimates of its future position based on measuring its momentum) return multiple results at the same time; well, we say multiple results, we mean it returns all the results - according to the sensors of the observer, the object 'under' the cloak is literally everywhere at once, or is moving with every single possible momentum at the same time (rendering its future position inestimable).

While this is obviously inefficient for covert operations, such a device will be invaluable in combat, rendering it impossible for the enemy to hit TGE assets except with AoE weaponry or by accident.

It has been installed in all TGE assets capable of sustaining it.

Arrentinian Officials have reported great progress on the new colonies in the Orion Nebula. The colonies have established themselves very well and are expected to see project incentives begin within the next few years as growth continues. The colonies progress is listed below:

Orionis Zal - The colony has reached a healthy 10,000 colonist, the fastest growth rate of the new colonies. The Board of Planetary Colonial Development is expected to give the thriving farm world its first batch of incentives. The incentives will be to establish a planetary capital and to increase food production by 75% in 10 years. If such incentives are achieved, the colony will be granted colonial assistance funds to further expand the colony.

Armas-Zil - the colony is growing slower than expected, but the planet is seeing a large industrial boom. Mining companies have discovered that the planet is rich in mineral wealth. The Geologist have begun to survey the other worlds in the system to determine if they too have high mineral wealth. Incentives for the system are to achieve a population of 10,000-15,000 within the next few years.

Dag'Ron Tog - Growth is slow, but the colony is expected to grow twice as big within its next year. The colony is planned to be Arrentine's center of commerce and trade as the Network Relay stations are established quickly.

Palavan - The colony is making its turn around with the military beginning to establish the colony. The incentives program is not permitted as the government is planning on helping the planet already.

The council is yet to determine how, and when, this will be removed from the Marketplace Central. It inevitably will as all other known scams, though.
