“Hey! Poca! You're alive!” the Orc yelled gladly, having thought she was killed by the falling rubble. “Run to the left! Your left! I'll keep these pricks busy!” he continued, running after the horse and hacking those in his way, then spinning around so that he closed the gap behind Midnight, to fend off the pursuing Vaal'Amar.
Having overheard the Orc, Miranda swerved her steed to her left, to run out the space between the gatehouse and the siege tower at the left, which Gulzod suggested. She did so, her steed barely fitting through the space left, but he nevertheless charged through the gatehouse, knocking down a few Vaal'Amar in the way, stomping upon the fallen, and Poca and Miranda felt their legs brush against the siege tower as Midnight ran passed it.
After the tight fit, Midnight galloped away, several Vaal'Amar outside the castle noticing and charging, but they would never catch them. A dozen archers atop the siege tower turned around and shot arrows, but they all missed, as Miranda had Midnight swerve. Up ahead was the siege camp, essentially a series of big tents and makeshift workshops. However, inside the siege camp were several battle boars, each mounted by an armoured Vaal'Amar, who happened to be there.
“Don't let any more of them escape! Kill them!” the Vaal'Amar commander shouted, a big devilish man wearing a bulky breastplate with spikes at the pauldrons, and at that, five battle boars charged, oinking loud.
Although the battle boars were not as fast or agile as horses, the boars were bulkier, shorter, and had greater stamina and endurance. Their riders wore crude breastplates and spiked helmets, carrying oval shields and pitchforks, and having a mace, battleaxe or war hammer at their saddles. At that, a pursuit had begun!
