Hiya!
I logged on today, ready for some more Clue Scroll fun! I could feel it in my bones... I was going to get something good today! I was already fully decked out in my Hellhound killing gear, so I travelled over to Kuradal's Dungeon and started the slaughter.
There were a few players in there already, and I chatted with them while we slayed. I was really getting back into Slayer! Mostly because of the exhilaration from Clue Scrolls, of course. Unlike my previous trips, I didn't get a clue scroll right away... In fact, after twenty or so kills, I still hadn't gotten one! I eventually stopped thinking about them and just had fun slaying them. I was having tons of fun slaying the dogs and chatting with others when all of a sudden, I got a Hard Clue Scroll! I bade farewell to the players there and set off on my umpteenth journey. This time, I would get something good!
This clue was a fairly easy one, consisting of searching cupboards and map clues. I finished it in no time at all! Of course, I didn't get any good loot... The highlight of this one was a Rune Kiteshield (h3). A little disappointed, I headed back to the Hellhounds. This time, after only a few kills, I got another clue! This must be my most clue-abundant task I've ever had! I Home Teleported to Lumbridge and ran to the bank.
I'm hosting a Secret Santa event for Mining Golds, and now that I had 50 players signed up, it was time to assign everyone to a player! If you're not familiar what a Secret Santa event is, it's an event where each player is assigned a player, and they must buy a present for that player without the assigned player knowing it. The real fun is trying to figure out what the player might want as a gift!
Assigning everyone to a player proved to be a more difficult task than I thought it would be.

For starters, many players had changed their name since they had signed up, making it very difficult to assign them players. Another problem was that I had to develop a way to assign each player to another player, without doubling up on someone. For the first 40 or so players, I used a Random Number Generator to pick players, and after that, I manually assigned players. In the end, I had miraculously done it! Now to tell each player who they've been assigned.... Even though I told all of them to add me on PM, many hadn't.
I had just finished up when I met GRlFFY down there in the Lumbridge Cellar! It's odd, I seem to meet him in all sorts of places! I looked at my clue for the first time. Coincidentally, I had to search a crate that was two squares away from me! I searched it and continued on my journey.
The next step was an emote clue on the White Wolf Mountain. I jogged up there in a jiffy, and made quick work of the clue. Next up was a Duel Arena clue. I teleported over there with a Ring of Duelling and looked for someone to ask. When I found a player, I asked him. Yet another coincidence! He was on the same clue as me, and was just about to ask me to help him! We went into the Duel Arena together, and I got my next clue; a Wilderness clue! We battled real quick after, and I won.
To the Wilderness! I don't get many Wilderness clues, and because of that, I get totally and hopelessly lost whilst in the Wilderness. I banked all my items, except for the clue and a spade, and teleported to Edgeville, where I pulled the Wilderness lever. I had forgotten a Knife... I pulled the lever again, and was taken to Ardougne. I forgot it would do that...
I ran all the way to the bank, picked up a knife and ran back to the lever. Finally running through the Wilderness, I realized I had no idea where I was going. I checked my World Map, and found out that I had to go to three little volcanoes just west of the Mage Arena.

I ran there, and got my next clue: A coordinate clue which led to the Arandar Pass. I Home Teleported... Until I remembered that you can't teleport out of the Wilderness. So instead, I ran to the Mage Bank, and teleported out there to the Mobilising Armies. There, I grabbed my Clue equipment. I took the Spirit Tree to the Tree Gnome Stronghold and ran for ages to the Arandar Pass, and when I finally reached my destination, I discovered I had forgotten my Watch, Charts and Sextant! Ugh...
Back the way I had come, to the Mobilising Armies... On my second attempt, I finally got the Saradomin Wizard to appear! But, of course, I had forgotten my Antipoison! I made quick work of the wizard anyhow, and got my next clue. This one was an easy one! I teleported to Ardougne and ran west, to West Ardougne.
There, I dug in a small house and claimed my reward! There wasn't much there... Except for an Enchanted Robe! I checked its price, only to find out that it was worth about 60k. Oh well! I still made about 100k, and that brought me to 17m!
That was all for today! Thanks for reading!
Good night!

The countdown has begun! And as usual, Jagex has posted their Behind the Scenes newspost. I don't know if it's just me, but I think I would rather that Jagex didn't announce updates, and instead let players discover it for themselves. The updates did look nice though, and I especially liked the fact that Jagex would be fixing the Rogue's Den, and making it more useful for Thieves. The 30 more bank spaces will be welcome too, not to mention that Toolbelt!
I was actually having some difficulty logging onto Runescape today... Every time I tried to play, my computer wouldn't load the page, and I would eventually have a Timeout error on my hands. After attempting to log in for a while, I eventually gave up and went off to do other things in real life.
Coming back hours later, I could log in! I couldn't log into the website mind you, but I could play nonetheless! I went straight to the Hellhounds, and after only a few kills, guess what I got? Yet another Hard Clue Scroll!
I left on my journey, in hopes of riches! After completing it, I didn't get any outstanding rewards... But my loot was getting more and more exotic, which could only be a good thing! This time, I received a Rune Platebody (h5) and a Rune Full Helm (h5)!
I teleported to the Grand Exchange right away, and sold the loot. Next, I sat down and started messaging people about the Secret Santa event. By the end, I still had 22/50 players to message... Quite a few, but over halfway!
I returned to the Hellhounds then, in search of the next clue! I chatted with other players there, having a great time. Alas, when I finally finished the task, I had not received any more Clue Scrolls... I left, and got a new task from Kuradal: 140 Living Rock Creatures! Now I could return to the Living Rock Caverns once more, without the need for Mining!
I exited via Fairy Rings and teleported to Falador, where I grabbed my equipment and logged off for the night.
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Sorry for the late update here; I was rock climbing for much later than I originally expected... But it was worth it! I completed a project I had been working on for months!
When I logged on, I was all ready to go and start my Living Rock Creatures task! It was a Friday though, and since the Citadel's Build tick had just occurred, it was time to go and gather the weekly 2350 resources.
I ran to the Clan Camp, and entered the Mining Golds Citadel. Greeted by massive gilded statues, I teleported to the Summoning Obelisks and began gathering minions for the clan. After gathering my share, I headed over to the Woodcutting Plot and gathered Timber with Joshyway. A few other clanmates joined us, and we all chatted while capping. Joshyway was quite a ways ahead of me though, and by the time I reached 1200 resources, he was finished. He left, and I continued to cap. By the time I reached 1700 resources, the gathering process seemed like it was flying by!
An hour or so later, I had finally finished capping. No more guilt!
Now that that was done, I could start my Slayer task! I ran back to Falador and took out my gear. When I entered the Living Rock Caverns, I met Pachocus! He had the same task as I! I began killing the Living Rock Creatures, always targeting the ones that were locked onto a miner. I remember how annoying those creatures were when I was Mining, and how grateful I was when a Slayer came by. It was time to return the favour!
I mined each and every creature I killed, and my pile of Living Minerals slowly grew. I had to log off pretty soon though. By this time, I was pretty close to level 79 Slayer, and was closing in on level 87 Defence!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hello!
I logged on today, and was immediately bombarded by an attack of a Living Rock Protector. Although I don't particularly like the task (I find it quite boring), it does make good money, and I enjoy trying to defend the miners. Not to mention the great experience I get from killing them!
I was killing a Living Rock Striker over at the South-West rock when I noticed the player "K a l i e". She was quite low on health due to being attacked, and was trying to get away from an oncoming monster. I ran towards her, and gave her three of my Monkfish. She thanked me, and as she did, I killed the Living Rock Striker that was stalking her. It always feels nice to help out a miner!
A little while later, after banking at the Grand Exchange, I achieved level 87 Defence! I've only got three level to go until I start training Strength... I can tell you, I'm not looking forward to it. I hate training Strength! I don't know why; maybe it's because I can't use my Abyssal Whip, maybe it's because I'm neither accurate or defensive. I don't know. Either way, I don't like training it. I mined all of the Living Rock Creatures I killed, and I began to accumulate quite a hefty pile! The kills seemed to be going fast too, something that doesn't normally happen with this task.
All of a sudden, I remembered something important! I had been tracking the prices of Snapdragons and Death Runes for weeks, and they were finally lowering in price... I had to sell them! I waited until I had to bank, then I took a minecart to the Grand Exchange. There, I sold my 1046 Clean Snapdragons, along with my 22,000 Death Runes. My cashstack was up to 37m now! That's probably the highest it's ever been without being spent right away, so I'm pretty excited about it! Let's see... An Elysian Spirit Shield is about 460m, so I'm about 8% there... Huh, I thought I was closer than that. But as I said, I wanted this goal to be enormous!

Having sold the items, I returned back to the Living Rock Caverns and started killing more Living Rock Creatures. Pretty soon, I had achieved level 79 Slayer! Maybe an hour after that, I had completed the task! I guess I had never really noticed it before, but Slayer tasks are pretty profitable! I had made about 500k out of the Living Minerals!
I got a new task from Kuradal: 92 Desert Strykewyrms. Yes! I had been dying for this task for ages, and now that I had finally gotten it, I couldn't wait! Strykewyrm tasks are my favourite tasks, and because Desert Strykewyrms can't poison, this was going to be great! I remembered where they were from One Piercing Note, so I teleported to the Duel Arena and ran south, to the Desert Strykewyrm pit. Lots of other players were there already, and after announcing to them that this was my first time there, another player told me that these monsters were very profitable. Sounded awesome!
I started attacking one, and got 100 Water Runes as a drop. Yes, I liked this task already. It soon became apparent that I had brought WAY too many Monkfish. The strykewyrms rarely hit, and when they did, they were so few and far between that I could naturally regenerate it back over time. I ran back to the Al Kharid bank and deposited some of my food. I ran back, and started attacking more. I received a Hard Clue Scroll as a drop! As usual, I left right away, eager for that juicy reward.
Five emote clues later (the most emote clues I've ever had in one Treasure Trail), I received my reward in the Shipyard on Karamja. I opened my casket and came face to face with a Robin Hood Hat. Wow! This was amazing! Until I noticed that it was brown... I Price Checked it, and sure enough, it wasn't a Robin Hood Hat. It was a Tan Cavalier. It looked identical to a Robin Hood Hat, but was brown instead of green. A bit of a disappointment, but I still made 136k from the Treasure Trail!

I teleported off to the Grand Exchange to sell my rewards. While I was there, MantisManiac PMed me, asking if I would lend my Dragon Hatchet out to his friend. I wasn't going to use it anytime soon, so I obviously accepted. I ran to the fountain where I would meet him, and met up with Tankatosk, a clanmate. I talked with him until MantisManiac's friend came by. I lent him the Dragon Hatchet for 24 hours, and boy was he happy!
I returned to the Desert Strykewyrms again, and started killing them. Man, I loved this task so much! If it wasn't limited to being task-only, I would camp at them forever! With about 40 to go, I got a Focus Sight as a drop! For some reason, I thought Focus Sights were only worth about 60k... So you can imagine my surprise when I checked its price and found out they were worth 208k!
A while later, I did something that was completely random and irrational; I've got no idea why I did it. For some strange inexplicable reason, I dropped my Focus Sight in the middle of a fight. I guess I wanted to right click it on the ground and re-enact my finding of this precious treasure. As soon as I dropped it, the Desert Strykewyrm I was fighting did its special attack and moved over the Focus Sight! AHHH! What had I done? What a humiliating and embarrassing way to lose such a precious treasure! I started attacking it with my Dragon Dagger Special Attack, trying to kill it as fast as possible. Miss, miss, miss. This wasn't good. This wasn't good at all.
Finally, when I did kill it, the apprehension was killing me. Did I lose it? Thankfully, it was still there, all 208k of it. I picked it up right away, and didn't drop it ever again. After banking it along with my other drops to make room for some more food, I headed back for my last trip to the beloved Desert Strykewyrms. I didn't get any more outstanding drops, save for the heaps of Super Defence Potions I recieved.

Unfortunately, the fun had to end at some point... I totaled up my earnings from that task: I had made about 300k! I made a quick trip to the Grand Exchange to sell my loot, and then I made my way back to Kuradal. My new assignment was 196 Fire Giants. I don't particularly like them, but I felt a little lucky today. Maybe I would get a 2500 Saradomin Brew drop! I grabbed my Glarial's Amulet, along with a Rope and teleported to Ardougne, where I ran north to the Baxtorian Falls. I ran through the dungeon and entered the Resource Dungeon, where I started the massacre.
It definitely wasn't as fun as the Desert Strykewyrms, but I was enjoying myself nonetheless. After killing five of them, I got a Dragon Dagger as a drop! A hundred kills later, I received my second ever good Ring of Wealth drop! The first was way back when when I camped at Chaos Dwarves. That time, I had received 730 noted Coal. Today, I looted 250 noted Raw Sharks! This was worth about 335k! Well, this task was worth its while already! I was completely out of food though, so I teleported out and visited the Grand Exchange to sell my drops, along with those 250 Raw Sharks. I noticed that my supply of Monkfish was getting a little low; I bought 500 more with the money I had from the 250 Raw Sharks. Fire Giants had bought me 500 Monkfish!
I returned to the Fire Giants for a little while before I logged off for the night. Tomorrow, Pachocus is hosting a Duel Tourney-- I can't wait!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

I logged on today, ready to finish my Fire Giant task. I was already in the Resource Dungeon, so I started killing them right away. For some reason, I'm starting to really get into Slayer! I didn't get any amazing drops this time, but my next task was well worth the wait; Hellhounds! Yes, it was yet again time for Clue Mania!
I gathered my gear and headed straight out to Kuradal's Dungeon, eager for a Hard Clue Scroll. Maybe I'd strike it rich! Five kills in, I got a Hard Clue Scroll! I embarked on it right away, and after tons of coordinate clues, I finally got my reward! Nothing too special... 20 Rune Bolts were the highlight.
I headed back to the Hellhounds again, and like last time, about 30 kills in, I got another clue! I left immediately and started it. After only the second clue though, it was time or Pachocus' Duel Tourney! I teleported over to the Duel Arena and switched to their world. I met up with everyone, and we all ran to the grand stands, where we would be able to observe the fights. I was against Panda Aura; he's quite a few levels higher than me. I had confidence in my abilities though! The duel started, and he opened with a Dragon Claw special attack. It hit quite hard, but I retaliated with my Korasi attack, which dealt a decent 300. Switching into my Verac's, we traded blows. We were both hitting quite accurately, and it was getting pretty close. In the end, I lost... It was extremely close though, and I think I did quite well against someone who was that much higher of level.
I watched the rest of the fights with great interest. I was out of the running for winning, but it was still fun to watch other players duke it out.
