I duelled LiquidFTW next, and was completely surprised by how the duel went. He was quite a lower level than I, and his special attack weapon was a Dragon Dagger. But nonetheless, he nearly killed me! I was down to 60lp by the time I killed him!
I duelled other players that were there, and managed to kill just about all of them. I duelled Pachocus too, and killed him twice. When I duelled LiquidFTW again though, he killed me! It was that Dragon Dagger... He kept hitting 200s!
Pretty soon, the duels were over, and I returned to my Treasure Trail. After what seemed like a ridiculously long winded trail of clues, I finally hit the end on top of the Lighthouse! Again, nothing special... In fact, it was only worth about 60k! But that 60k pushed my cashpile over the edge and reached 35m!
Back at the Hellhounds, I wanted another Clue Scroll so bad! But I killed more and more of them, and even banked once! A few other players were there, and I ended up bringing them food as well. After gathering 70 Gold Charms, I was experiencing a horrible Clue drought! What was happening!?
I didn't end up getting another clue by the time I logged off... But maybe next time! I really can't wait until level 80 Slayer; that will be quite an achievement! That's it for today!
If I don't post anything tomorrow, it'll be because I might be heading off on a climbing day-trip. It'll be really cold, but it might be the last chance I get before the rocks get too wet from the rain.
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hello! Firstly, congratulations to Forum Raaf for becoming a Forum Moderator, if he happens to read this!
Well, I'm back from my climbing trip. It was ridiculously cold... about -3 degrees. That doesn't sound too bad when you think about it, but when you're climbing in clothes that offer no insulation, it was unbearable. My feet didn't thaw for three hours, and I was afraid of frostbite! My toes had gone a deep violet hue!
I didn't get too much of a chance to play today, due to catching up on assignments that I missed yesterday, but I did have time to finish off a clue scroll! When I logged on, I couldn't wait to see the new Toolbelt! But what I noticed first was the Money Pouch. I tested it out, and immediately fell in love with it. I loved how it glowed green when money was added to it; it gave you a sense of pride whenever you added funds.
I was finishing up my clue scroll when I remembered the Toolbelt! I opened that up and was pretty happy about it! It stored all the basics, from pickaxes to spades. I was mostly happy about the ability to store knives. I've lost count how many times I've needed a knife, but didn't have on with me. As I have said before, it's these little updates that I like the most!
My clue scroll didn't yield too much of a reward... A Rune Platebody was the highlight. I headed back to Hellhounds, and started the hunt for another clue scroll. Ten kills later, I got one! I headed out right away. The first clue was a Puzzle Box; the picture was of a bridge.
After that, I headed out to Sophanem to finish up an emote clue. After thatm I teleported to Edgeville to meet up with three new recruits for Mining Golds. Every clue after that I recieved was a Puzzle Box!

I had to solve my way through four bridge puzzles, and two tree puzzles. I hoped to get a good reward after all this... When I did get my reward, I was at first quite excited. A Guthix Coif! That must be worth a lot!
I price checked it on the new Money Pouch to discover that it was worth 23k... The 53 Mahogany Planks turned out to be worth more! I headed over to the Grand Exchange to sell the loot. It was pretty satisfying watching the money get added to the Money Pouch! After promoting a few players in Mining Golds, it was already time to log off.

Hello!
I logged on today and travelled off to the Hellhounds in Kuradal's Dungeon. Time for a Clue Scroll! I had about 65 left to kill, so I would probably manage to get a Clue Scroll. But I killed and killed and killed, and I never got one! Eventually, I actually finished the task, and I never did get one. I ran outside the dungeon and got a new task from Kuradal: 142 Desert Strykewyrms. Yes! These were my favourite task, due the big profits I can get. I headed out to the desert right away. If I was lucky, I might get an Elite Clue Scroll!
I started killing the creatures, slowly accumulating tons of Pure Essence and Super Defence Potions. I didn't bring much food, so every time I wasn't paying attention, I would have to eat due to the monster's special attack. After fourty kills, I got a second Focus Sight! That's two for two! I could tell the luck was already active!
I got into the habit of picking up every coin drop I got. I loved watching that "+200" roll down from the Money Pouch. After a long time, I had run out of food. It was time to sell my loot and replenish my food! I Home Teleported to Lumbridge and then teleported to the Grand Exchange. I sold all my loot for a total of 580k! I wasn't even done the task yet!
I headed back for round 2; I was still on the lookout for an Elite Clue Scroll! I killed tons of the creatures, but didn't get a clue scroll... My stock of Pure Essence was huge though, and with 19 Desert Strykewyrms to go, I got a Hard Clue Scroll! The first step was to go to the picnic benches near Ardougne. I Home Teleported, grabbed my Treasure Trail equipment, and teleported off.
As I ran past the Ardougne Mining Pit, I noticed a strange sight. Grizzly Bears! They were everywhere! Surely it had never been this way... Every way I looked, there were at least three Grizzly Bears. It was perhaps one of the strangest sights I had ever seen. I counted them up, reaching a grand total of 16.

There was no way this was normal. DivineFury, Ryan KO and Daddy Xmas stopped by to see the phenomenon, but only DivineFury and I seemed to be impressed... Apparently, it's always like this! I had never seen this before... Since when did the bears all migrate to Ardougne?
I continued on with my Treasure Trail, stopping once to offer a Fletching assist to a clanmate at the Grand Exchange fountain. After tons of puzzle boxes (too many for my liking), I finally found the casket! There it was, buried deep in the Lumberyard! I opened it up... And found a pretty nice reward! There were two Rune Platebodies, 12 Lobsters, 24 Blood Runes and 14 Purple Sweets! That totalled up to 240k! I teleported off to the Grand Exchange, where I sold my loot. I'm up to 36m now! Still a long ways to go until I can afford an Elysian Spirit Shield... But then again, it only takes one stroke of luck to boost me ahead!

Hello!
I logged on today and grabbed my Slayer gear. Time to kill the remaining Desert Strykewyrms! I teleported to Lumbridge and ran to Al Kharid, where I entered the Desert Strykewyrm pit. There were no other players there, and I had only a few more kills to go. Pretty soon, I had completed the task, with no significant drops. I teleported to the Grand Exchange, sold my loot and used the Fairy Rings to get to Kuradal, in the Ancient Caverns.
My new task was... 84 Iron Dragons. I hadn't had dragons in a while! I wasn't going to bank the bones though; that just takes way too long. Instead, I returned to Zanaris and withdrew a Super Set, Antifire Potions and my Korasi. Time to get a Draconic Visage!
I didn't have level 90 Agility, so I was forced to run the entire circumference of the dungeon to get to the Iron Dragons. Once there, I set my Quick Prayers to "Protect from Melee", and I was all set! I started killing the dragons, slowly but surely. Another player was there, but when I tried to chat with him, he didn't seem interested in chatting.
After killing about 20 of them, I ran out of Antifire Potions! I had only brought two, and I guess I needed a few more. I Home Teleported and picked up three, restocked, and headed back. This time, there were a lot more players there; three. I tried to get a dragon, but there were just too many people. One player asked that I leave, considering I was the last one to enter. A reasonable request; I left with dignity.
The new world had no one in it! I had the whole place to myself! Soon though, a mage entered, and luckily, he was open to chatting! We talked while we slayed, and I was getting lots coin drops! I also got a Ferocious Ring! After returning once from banking, I only had a few more to go; this wasn't as horrific as I remembered it being!

With three dragons to go, the mage asked me if I could give him the rest of my Antifire Potions. I only had one, a two dose potion. I was almost done though... I could do it. I dropped the potion for him and started killing the dragons as fast as I could. With one dragon to go, my resistance to dragonfire ran out! I only took a few hits though, and pretty soon I had completed my task! Too bad I didn't get a Draconic Visage, or even a clue scroll...
I ran around the entire dungeon, back to Kuradal. Time for a new task! This time, I was assigned 188 Dagganoths. Not my favourite task, but I supposed I could do it. The new Citadel build tick had just occurred though, and I decided to get a head start on capping my resources. I banked my gear and loot and teleported to the Clan Camp, where I teleported myself off to the Mining Golds Citadel.
I was low on Prayer Points, so I spent a few minutes trying to find the Citadel altar. After ages of struggling, I found it! Off to the Summoning plot! I started working there, taking little breaks to chat with Mgt to Nicky (ForeverMandy), and Bellum Intus. Soon, I had gathered the required 235 Minions! I headed over to the Woodcutting plot, but after a few roots had been cut, EwitsMandy called me over. They were hanging out at the fountain, and they were concerned that my Octopus was getting too dry! That was thoughtful of them!
After soaking my Octopus in the fountain, I chatted with the clanmates. All of a sudden, we had a storytime session! I don't know how it happened, but at least six clanmates were seated in front of me, all waiting for a story!
And so I told a magnificent tale of how the evil tyrant, Mgt to Nicky, had forced us slaves to cap at the Citadel, and how one dashingly handsome fellow, by the name of Grimwold2, decided to rebel! It was a good tale; the bards will sing it for ages! After cutting a few more roots, it was time to log off.

Hi!
I logged on today, in the Mining Golds Citadel. Yep, it was time to grind through another 2350 resources. I entered the citadel and teleported over to the Woodcutting plot. There were already quite a few players there; this could be fun!
I started chopping the roots while chatting with my clanmates. It's one thing to chat with them over the Clan Chat, but somehow actually seeing the avatar makes it more... personal. More and more clanmates arrived, and I was actually enjoying myself! I got to talk with some clanmates who almost never talk in the Clan Chat. With a clan as big as Mining Golds, there are quite a few clanmates I've never met before! That's what I love about the Citadel. It brings the clan together, to focus on one goal: improving the citadel.
Now a lot of players complain that the citadel does nothing for them, that it has no benefit. Well... they're right. But in my mind, it's a great place to reconnect with your friends, and an awesome way for the whole clan to come together.
Yep, I was having a fun time! Before I knew it, I was nearing 2000 resources! I chopped on and on, still conversing with my clanmates. One clanmate had just joined, and unlike most new members, who are shy, this particular member was right into a conversation about the citadel. I could tell right away that he was going to fit in just fine.
All of a sudden, I reached level 83 Woodcutting! I've gained about two levels solely from the Clan Citadel! With that level gained, I was getting pretty close to hitting the resource cap. About ten minutes later, I was all capped up! Mining Golds has introduced a temporary capping requirement, so members who are ranked Admin+ have to check off clanmates to make sure they have capped. So after checking off a few members, I left to start my task of Dagganoths.

I was just about to start putting on my equipment, when I remembered that I had wanted to buy a new emote from the Loyalty Shop! I'm what Jagex calls "an emote fiend", meaning that I will never buy anything else from there but emotes. I don't know why I like them so much!
I had 12,000 points to spend, and I wasn't quite sure what to get. I wanted one of the new ones, one of the ones that had just been released. I looked them up on Youtube on order to get a preview of what I would be buying. Before I had even looked at them, I was already interested in one: Divine Power. I looked at all the others first. Boy, Jagex sure has done a good job with the emotes! Infernal Power was really cool, as was Tornado. But when I watched the emote of Divine Power, there was no doubt in my mind. That was the one.
I teleported over to the Grand Exchange and ran south, to Xuan's stall in Varrock's square. I went straight to the emotes section and purchased Divine Power with no hesitation. Just like that, I had zero points. I was excited; this emote was so cool! I clicked on the now lit symbol and watched the emote.
My avatar bent down in a praying motion, and as he was doing this, a cloud formed just a bit above him. My avatar looked up, as an angel descended from the cloud. As I stood up, my hand touched the angel's hand, just as the angel flew back up to the cloud.
I've got no idea why this emote appealed to me so much. I've always liked things with angelic and touched with divinity rather than dark, malicious things. I guess this emote just encased that entire category of "divine powers".
I was pretty excited about this new emote! I used it proudly many times as I walked back to the bank. There, I withdrew my Slayer gear and teleported to the Lighthouse.

I continued to use the emote-- I loved it! It was even better with full armour on. The stark contrast between the battle-hardened appearance of a fully armoured character and the beautiful power of the angel seemed to really make it amazing.
I walked down into the Dagganoth pit, and started slaying. There were no bots, no cannons. I will fully admit that I think Jagex is starting to turn this game around. The updates lately have been great!
The dagganoths were completely aggressive, and because they rarely hit, I could simply go to another tab and check back every once and a while. At one point, I picked up a casket as a drop! I took a peek inside and looted an Uncut Ruby. Hm, I had a Chisel in my Toolbelt... How could I use it? Then I noticed that the gem actually had a "Craft" option on it! I clicked it, and I cut it, just like that! Well, I can tell that I'm going to start picking up gems a lot more often!
I slowly killed the monsters, eating almost no food. Another player walked in, and I marveled as twelve dagganoths crowded around him, making it look like a small reptilian army. By this time, I was just about finished my task. I hadn't even banked yet! I killed the remaining dagganoths, and finished my task! I knew I was getting pretty close to level 88 Defence, so I checked to see how close I was to gaining the level. Much to my sour satisfaction, I had already gained it! Judging by how far away it was in the chatbox, I had probably gained it about five minutes ago.
Before I left, I offered the rest of my food the the player who was there. It's become a bit of a ritual of mine. Every time I leave my task, I always offer my food to a player who is down there. The player declined, but thanked me anyways. I climbed the ladder and Home Teleported out.
In Lumbridge, I teleported to Edgeville, where I used the Fairy Ring to get a new task from Kuradal: 229 Aberrant Spectres-- Ew!
That was all for today! Thanks for reading!
Good night!
