Hi!
With my math exams looming on the horizon, it was time to start reviewing my notes. I usually don't study at all for tests, but this course has been giving me a real run for my money. Luckily, that didn't mean no Runescape!
I logged in as a goblin in the Goblin Temple. Yep, it was time to finish "Land of the Goblins". I had to dye some Goblin Mail multiple colours, and I knew I was about to rech a bump in the road. I needed White Dye, something that couldn't be purchased. I had to head to Aggie the Witch for that, and luckily for me, Dordracio wanted to me to see him with his new Hati gear! I met him in Draynor, and we chatted for a while before he logged off.
Now to get my hands on that white dye... I had to travel all the way to the Fishing Competition area and catch a very certain type of fish. A while later, I had my dye and I was off to continue with the quest. After getting lost in Dorgesh-Kaan multiple times, and killing a few goblins here and there, I finished the quest, along with unlocking my 650th soundtrack! Now I could finally resume my hunt for the Inferno Adze!
I travelled to the Goblin Village where I left off the hunt a few days prior and filled the beacon. Joshyway, somehow knowing that I would be there at that very instant, ran up to the beacon and gave me twenty Yew Logs. He wished me luck and ran off. Alright, now I just had the Wilderness beacons to go. These would be the worst; I'm quite unfamiliar with that territory.
I hopped the border and ran north into the Wilderness. The first beacon in sight seemed out of reach; I ran on. The next one was on top of a hill, and there was a ladder conveniently placed next to it. But of course, the ladder needed to be repaired, and I didn't have the necessary equipment with me to do so.
I ran on, past the next one (it was out of reach) and the next one, until I came to the second to last beacon in the Wilderness.

This one had a ladder too! Already forgetting about the first one I had encountered, I tried to climb it only to find out that this one needed to be repaired as well. So I ran to the final beacon, near the Wilderness Agility Course. Here, the Ice Spiders did a pretty good job of preventing me from filling the beacon. Why hadn't I disabled the confirmation interface on the beacons?
After a while, I managed to fill the beacon by clicking on the beacon at just the right time. Now to fix those bridges... I ran all the way to Level 20 Wilderness and Home Teleported. I then teleported to the Grand Exchange, where I watched a Horsey Host try and take bets.
Round 2: Time to fix those ladders! I ran into the Wilderness again, and fixed the first ladder, filling the beacon at the same time. I teleported back to Falador for more logs and then ran out there again. A little while before I reached the second ladder, I came face to face with a huge group of PKers. I ran by, hoping they wouldn't notice. Too late. I watched with horror on my minimap as a mob of white dots pursued after my white square. They were all mages, and if they caught up to me, I was toast. I ran on, hoping they would turn back.
These PKers seemed intent on killing me for my Yew Logs. I lured them a little further, and then logged out. A minute later, I logged back on into a different world and finished fixing the second ladder, filling that beacon too. Now I had to pre-load the beacons only accessible via Death Plateau and the God Wars Dungeon.
The first of these beacons was located in Burthorpe. I teleported there with a Games Necklace and ran to the beacon. Man... Another ladder in need of repair... Pre-loading the beacons was taking much longer than I had expected... I purchased the required materials from the Grand Exchange, along with some items for the remaining beacons and returned to the beacon.

After I filled that beacon, I looked onward to the remaining three (or two). These looked incredibly difficult to get too... I get lost normally on the Death Plateau, let alone trying to venture into unknown territories. I ran around, trying to find the next beacon, but it was useless. Eventually, I found the correct path, only to be brutally reminded that I had forgotten Climbing Boots. Gah... Time to log off. I'd deal with this problem tomorrow.
I've read a lot of guides on how to do this, but I think it's time I watch a video guide. I'm just too unfamiliar with the areas to know how to do it efficiently! Today is also a pretty big day for me: I'm finally in the top 100,000 players in Runescape! I've been hovering around 101,000 for a while, but now I can officially say that I'm in the top 100,000!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hiya!
I logged in today at Burthorpe. Now was the time to pre-load the rest of those beacons! I tried to find the first one for a long time... Until I realized that the one I was trying to get to on the minimap happened to be the Burthorpe beacon. Finally, through many agonizing minutes of confusion, frustration and hopelessness, I finally figured out how to get to it! Much to my embarrassment, it was extremely easy to access, and I wouldn't have a problem getting to it earlier.
I teleported back to Burthorpe and picked up the last of my Yew Logs. The final beacon awaited me! Again, I had no idea how to get to this one... After looking at my map though, I figured that I'd have to pass the God Wars Dungeon entry and go up a few sets of stairs. I had my Jute Fibres with me, and my Needle in my Toolbelt! I arrived at the beacon not much later, and was a little disappointed to see that it didn't accept my needle to fix the wind blocker... So I teleported back to Burthorpe and then to the Grand Exchange, where I bought a new Needle.
Ages later, I made my way back to the windswept beacon... Only to be told that I needed level 86 Firemaking to fill it. I had forgotten about the area's stat draining abilities! Well this sucked.
I teleported out yet again and grabbed a Super Restore Potion. For the third time, I made my way back to the beacon, and this time, I filled it with logs. I teleported out, suddenly realizing that it was time to actually light them.
I had no idea what my route was going to be. I had checked a guide on Youtube, but decided that I wanted to figure out the best method myself. My plan of attack was to start near Morytania and work my way towards the Ice Plateau. I got my teleports and Energy Potions and ran to the first beacon near Morytania.

I sat at this beacon, wondering if I was actually prepared for this. I wasn't very clear how I was going to do this, and even worse, I couldn't even remember if I had filled all the beacons yet! (I had 20 logs in my bank still). I knew I would have about fourteen and a half minutes to complete the task, so I started my watch thirty seconds early to make sure I get in on time. As soon as my watch hit 00:30, I lit the first beacon. No going back now! I ran down the steps and sprinted to the second beacon in the area. I lit that one and then used a Lumber Yard teleport to get to the third beacon. I lit that one, and then continued west to light the next two.
Once I had those ones done, I teleported to Edgeville with an Amulet of Glory and lit that one. I unlocked the Fire Ring! Next, I used my Combat Bracelet and teleported to the Monestary. I ran to the Ice Mountain and lit that beacon. Next up, I smashed my Goblin Village Tele-Orb and lit that beacon. Now I had a dilemma. I had forgotten that the Wilderness wasn't directly available from this beacon... I decided to go for it anyways. I ran all the way around, and hopped the border. Running north, I watched as the unlit Burthorpe beacon went by... That one was next.
I lit the Wilderness beacon and teleported to Burthorpe, where I lit the beacon there. Time was looking good so far! Off to Trollheim! I teleported out there, and lit the closest beacon. After that, I walked slowly passed the God Wars Dungeon entrance, and lit the next beacon. It suddenly occurred to me that my whole plan revolved around me being able to get down this shortcut that led into the Wilderness. I clicked the shortcut, noting that ignorance truly was bliss.
I didn't go down the shortcut. Oh no... What went wrong? Thankfully, it was actually just a lag, and I slid down. I was on a QuickChat world, so I didn't have to worry about PKers here!

Two beacons left, with four minutes to go. I was going to make it. I lit the next beacon and ran to the final beacon: Ice Plateau. There, I lit the beacon... and nothing happened. Where was the message that I had received when I unlocked the Flame Gloves and Fire Ring? As panic started in, I noticed the message in my chatbox. I had done it! The Inferno Adze was mine!
Right then, Evil Bob kidnapped me and whisked me off to ScapeRune. Wow. Again, ignorance is bliss. If that random event had happened any earlier, I might not have made it! I completed the event and then ran to the Mage Bank, where I teleported to Varrock. I couldn't wait to pick up my Inferno Adze!
There, in Varrock, King Roald gave me my Fire Ring, Flame Gloves and finally, the precious Inferno Adze. Finally! Eager to test it out, I headed to the Jadinko Lair, after I tended to some flipping items.
Wow, the Inferno Adze in conjunction with the other fire items were great! I was getting much faster experience, not to mention that awesome feeling of finally acquiring an item that all the high-levelled players use.
I burned logs for a long while, eventually accumulating 360,000xp. When it was time to log off, I was suddenly taken away by Niles, who wanted me to identify a very peculiar object. It had a handle and a metal end, and looked like it could possibly be used to turn earth. Was it a fish? Nah... A shield? Yes, of course! I clicked on it, curious as to what would happen.
I was told to leave the room via the portal. I guess no XP Lamp for me I left and was suddenly in some random room. Where was I? Now I know the dangers of answering wrong in Random Events! I was actually in Falador, so I logged off for the night.
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hi!
I'm under a lot of pressure this week; Three math tests, an English Final and a Research Assignment... Just this has made me a little worried, and the weather hasn't made it any worse. I started this thread in April, so there was really no point in explaining this... But now that this time of year has rolled around, it's probably a good idea.
Throughout my life, I've always felt sad or unhappy in the winter, fall and spring seasons, and I assumed it was just because I wasn't happy with whatever I was doing. But as time went on, I realized that I didn't feel happy doing anything. I visited a doctor a few years ago and was diagnosed with S.A.D. (Excuse the pun; it's actually called that). S.A.D., or Seasonal Affective Disorder, is a disorder in which the victim will feel sad and unhappy while they are deficient in Vitamin D. That is, if I don't get a lot of sunlight, I start feeling sad.
This is a bit of a problem for me. Where I live, the sun only shines two months of the year. Every other month, the skies are plagued with clouds and torrential rain. So if I'm not too talkative ingame, this will be why
Anyways, today was a pretty awesome day! The snow poured down from the sky, covering everything in a beautiful icy blanket. I don't particularly like the cold, but I do love looking at snow! School wasn't cancelled, but I could look outside and see the flaked slowly making their journey to the ground.

When I came home, I took out some math notes and started reviewing. There was a math test tomorrow, and I needed to be ready! While I did this, I logged onto Runescape. From Falador, I teleported to the Grand Exchange and tended to some flipping items. If my new item works, I'll make 10m! If not, I might lose quite a bit We'll see how that goes!
I teleported over to the Jadinko Lair and started chopping and burning. It was good to get back into a relaxing skill. All that questing and worrying about beacons was getting me on edge!
The Inferno Adze was noticeably making my trips longer. This was a good thing though; more Firemaking experience! Each root I chopped had a chance at getting burned, and one time, all four roots were burned! The experience was coming in fast, and it looked like I might actually get level 93 Firemaking!
All of a sudden, I was thrust into the Gravedigger random event. I don't think this was ever there before... Skulls were in each of the coffins! Or maybe they were, and I never noticed... Who knows? Anyways, when I finished, I used my experience lamp on Herblore and achieved level 63 Herblore! This was my first time seeing the "Level Gained" message, and I liked it a lot. It told you right away what you were now able to do; I really liked that!
I chopped and burned some more, striking up a conversation with Capt Mexico, a slayer. He had never seen snow before, so we chatted about the differences in weather. Ironically, he didn't live in Mexico...
I looked at my remaining Firemaking experience and was shocked to see a mere 17,000xp! How had it gotten so low? A few loads later, I achieved level 93 Firemaking! Now I could unlock Nourished Effigies! Soon after this accomplishment, I logged off for the night. I wanted a good sleep for that test tomorrow!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hiya!
It's crunch time! What I mean by that is, everything for Semester 1 is winding down to a close. Unfortunately, this means that I'm under a lot of pressure. I have my Math Term 2 Exam on Monday, and the Final Exam on Thursday, along with a massive research assignment due to Friday. So I started researching on my topic for the essay: Albert Einstein. You can learn quite a bit about something when you really delve deep, and I was discovering all sorts of things about Einstein! Did you know that Einstein once had a hit out for him?
Anyways, although I didn't get to play too much today, I did do a bit of Firemaking. After that, I headed out to Mining Golds Citadel to start collecting resources. Today Mining Golds finally managed to get a Dragon in our citadel! I looked around for it, wondering where it was. After asking a few clanmates, I found out that the dragon actually flies around to the different skill plots, swooping down occasionally!
I headed over to the Obelisk and started collecting minions. After I had finally collected all 270 of them, I ran all the way to the Woodcutting plot, as the teleport button still doesn't work. There, I asked a clanmate to show me where the Dragon Perch was. He guided me over to it; wow! It was ornately decorated, with dragon faces adorning the corners. Just then, the dragon landed on the perch with a majestic swoop. He was a Frost Dragon, perhaps the first of its kind to escape the dark dungeons and caves.
With that, he took off again and I ran back to the Woodcutting plot. I stayed there for the rest of my gametime, chatting with clanmates, inviting new-comers and watching the dragon fly by.
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hi!
Well, my math class is finally coming to an end after months of pouring over sine waves and trigonometric ratios. Just two exams separate me from the end! So, the studying has begun. That's the great part about the Jadinko Lair: I can study while gaining experience! As soon as I logged on, Lion 0fJudah PMed me, and asked me to join him in his world. I was actually just about to finish capping, but after he told me he had a Jadinko task, I headed over to the lair and started some Firemaking beside him.
We chatted for a while, and I managed to catch two random events in under an hour. After gaining close to 300,000xp, I left for a while and took a break. When I came back, he was no longer there. I went back to my favourite chamber and continued my burning. As I did this, I poured over math notes, trying desperately to remember the things I had learned so many months ago.
Some time later, Dormio asked to join Mining Golds. I met him at the Grand Exchange fountain, and Mining Golds gained a new member! Ever since Mining Golds has raised the requirement to a 2000+ total level, we've been attracting tons of very high level players!
I returned to the Jadinko Lair and continued to burn the roots. I gave Mining advice to a few other players there, who were interested in getting 99 Mining. It's quite remarkable; when you get a skill to 99, you all of a sudden know the best way to do it!
After a while, I was only 50,000xp away from level 94 Firemaking! FireCapeFury wanted to test out his new Sagaies on me though, so I left and met him at Friendly Clan Wars. We fought, and I won, easily. It was pretty one-sided though; I was about thirty levels higher than him. Next, we tried an all ranged fight. That was a bit closer!
We tried again, this time without my Dragonfire Shield. He managed to get me down to half health!
