It didn't go to well. In one battle, I was lagging really badly, and after I saw the accept confirmation screen, I was back in the lobby! Apparently, he had 2-hit me with his Chaotic Rapier and Korasi.
I died match after match, until he had to leave. I said goodbye and looked around for another opponent. I found one player, and we started a match. He was only level 101, so he was at a distinct disadvantage. He had turned on No Leg or Body Armour, so it was up to me and my Abyssal Whip/Korasi. I comboed him in three hits with my Abyssal Whip though; no need for a Korasi!
He wanted a rematch, this time with my shield off. I guessed he wanted to keep his on though, as he didn't turn off the shields option. Keeping true to my word, I took my shield off. I won that one too! But barely. His Dragon Claw special attacks were quite formidable! He had had enough, as had I. I ran to the Chest Bank, said good-bye to everyone and logged off.
Thanks for reading! Only 234,000xp until level 97 Mining!
Good night!

I logged on today, at the Duel Arena. I really wanted to get level 97 Mining soon; Tuesday was going to be a big Slayer day! I withdrew my Mining gear and teleported to Falador. Then I remembered that my Dragon Pickaxe was about to disappear... It was borrowed, after all. Just like I thought, it would disappear after seven minutes. I ran around, killing Falador guards until it disappeared. After that, I asked my clan again for a loan. GRlFFY, the clanmate who loaned me it yesterday, offered to loan me it again! We met in the Falador East Bank and I borrowed his Dragon Pickaxe for another 24 hours!
Into the Living Rock caverns I went again, and I started my epic Mining journey. A while later, Lion 0fJudah invited me to go to the Revenants. My reply was an instant no. As you might know, I have a bad case of Wilderness-phobia. I do whatever I can to avoid interactions with that place, so I was definitely NOT going to be going in there by my own accord!
But Lion 0fJudah assured me that he would protect me from any PKers, and that I would get out safely. I started warming to the idea, and after a few minutes, I agreed to go. I waited for Lion 0fJudah to finish what he was doing, and then we met in Edgeville. I wore my new Revenant-killing gear: Black Dragonhide with an Abyssal Whip. Lion 0fJudah traded me a Forinthry Brace for my protection.
We ran to the Canoe Station just east of the bank. After being completely perplexed as to how I didn't need a space in my inventory to borrow the NPC's hatchet, I made a Waka and travelled down the river and into the Wilderness. We ran west, until we came across a cave. I entered with Lion 0fJudah for my very first time.
I expected the caves to be empty, but instead, it was full of players! I activated my Forinthry Brace and took a look around.

Lion 0fJudah ran off and started attacking a Revenant, so I found a Revenant Ork and started attacking it. Suddenly, the revenant turned on my Spirit Terrorbird and started dealing massive damage to it! Even worse, it was healing every time I hit it! I eventually killed it though, and got a big drop of... 337 coins.
We worked together on killing the more powerful revenants, while on the lookout for PKers. After only five minutes, Lion 0fJudah yelled "Tele!". I teleported out right away, as I saw the Ice Barragers coming from the south-east. I ended up in Edgeville, wondering what happened to Lion 0fJudah. After a while, he teleported in. He had actually managed to kill one of the PKers! He traded me the Pker's Mystic Robes too! I thanked him and ran off to the Grand Exchange to sell them. I logged off for a break.
Coming back, it was time to go back to Mining. Good drops are rare from Revenants, and I didn't plan to stay in the Wilderness for that long. I logged onto world 88, still at the Grand Exchange. Interestingly, a bunch of my clanmates were there! I hung out with them for a while, before heading back into the Living Rock Caverns.
And I mined there, in a race againt time. Would I get level 97 Mining before I logged off? It would be close, that was for sure. Very close. With an hour to go, I had 88,000xp to gain. Not impossible, but it definitely wouldn't be easy.
Smell a Yew (Cool name!) showed me a new way of getting to the Northwest Rock. I was very appreciative of that; previously, when I went there, a Living Rock Striker would always target me, never leaving me alone. But with this new route, I could completely bypass it!
With about a minute to spare, I was going to get level 97 Mining. I saw the experience chip its way down from 373, to 273, to 100... to 1,112,387. I had done it. I had finally reached level 97 Mining!
I had gained a ton of Mining experience today... 234,820xp to be exact. I logged off.
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

I logged on today to a Bot Nuke Countdown on the main page. That made me smile... It seems that Jagex is quite confident that this will work, so I hold faith in the biggest update of Runescape!
I logged on into the Living Rock Caverns, with my right hand free. My borrowed Dragon Pickaxe had been returned. I said hello to my clan and friends chat, and immediately, GRlFFY, who had been lending me his Dragon Pickaxe for the past few days, offered to lend me it again! I met him at the eastern Falador Bank, but this time, instead of lending it to me, he gave it to me, for as long as I needed it for! Now I won't need to see that awful Rune Pickaxe ever again, and I won't need to keep asking around for a Dragon Pickaxe! Boy, I was happy!
On my way to the Living Rock Caverns, I did something I almost never do; I set a target goal for level 98 Mining. So, I should go up 1% for every 11,000xp I gain. I descended into the Living Rock Caverns and started my Mining.
The worst thing happened then! I love browsing the forums while I mine, but for some reason, the forums went offline, as well as Friends Chats and Friends Lists! So instead, I chatted with clanmates and such, and watched the Bot Nuke timer tick by.
After I came back from dinner, the forums were up and running again! Much to my disappointment though (I thought Jagex was adding in the Bot Combatting Suggestions forums), it seemed that the malfunction was not planned at all, and was simply a technical difficulty.
So I continued to mine, watching that percentage meter creep ever so slowly to the right. I think achieveing level 98 is going to feel like an eternity... But then what will level 99 feel like? Will that go fast because it's th last level? Or will it go slow because I'm waiting for it?
Well, that's really all for today! Tomorrow is Bot Nuke and Slayer!
Thanks for reading! 91% to go!
Good night!

BOT NUKE DAY
I couldn't wait to check out all the heavily botted areas to wonder at the marvel that is NO BOTS. But first, I had to get some triple Slayer Experience! I decided to take a look around the forums first, to see how people were reacting to the new Runescape. I was quite surprised at the amount of Jagex posts! I have to say, I really appreciated the amount of posts that Jagex staff was making. Also, Mod MMG himself posted on a few threads!
The big letdown was that the triple Slayer Experience was based on GMT... So it had actually just ended. I guess no Slayer for me
So instead, I went back to Mining. I was about to log into world 88, but instead, I decided to log into world 84. Back when I first ventured into the Living Rock Caverns, there were almost no bots there at all. But as time prgressed, more and more bots entered, and by the time I switched over to world 88, the world was almost overrun with bots.
Now, logging back into it after so long, what a change! The bots were completely gone, and world 84 now looked like world 88! Gold Ore was rising, and my Bandos set is now worth 40m! If Runescape stayed this way... I think I would love this game 500% more!
Dordracio came down to visit me, with his full rune and alching gear. He had been down there a couple times before, but it can be pretty confusing in the Living Rock Caverns, so I guided him over to the different rocks.
He alched for a while, before he died at the hands of a Living Rock Creature. His grave was blessed before I could even see it though; another benefit of no bots.
So I continued to mine, having conversations with my fellow miners. I still was so happy that there were no bots! Just imagine, being able to skill for money, instead of being forced into Bossing, PKing or gambling! I wonder what this could mean for Runescape's future...

On a stickied thread that Mod MMG had tacked up (no longer stickied), he stated that he is quite confident that bot developers will not be able to overcome this update. I have faith in Jagex; they seem unusually confident!
TheSpiffiest had logged on too, and according to him, he heard that some guests had been invited to Jagex HQ, and apparently, what Jagex has done to the coding is insane!
Well, these are very exciting times... Jagex has added a right-click Report feature; something that players have been asking for for a long, long time. Also, as an Admin of Mining Golds, I can now check how many resources players have obtained at the Citadel!
If there are no bots still by the end of November, then I think it would be safe to say that Jagex had won the war. Until then though, all we can do is report and wait.
Thanks for reading! Have fun in a new, bot-free Runescape!
Good night!

Well, it seems that the bonuses that Jagex is offering just isn't for me. Again, as I returned home, the events had just ended. So, back to Mining for me.
There were some real interesting conversations popping up at the rocks, much like "water cooler conversations". Strangely enough, they weren't about bots. On one such occasion, the conversation went something like this...
Player 1: oitdkgccvm
Player 2: Is that so?
Player 1: hgastewsdhf. dsaf
Player 2: I'm sorry for your loss.
Player 1: fggfh. gyhguyfgh!
Player 2: It's ok, you're too good for her anyways!
Player 1: ftfghj.
Player 2: No, really.
Player 1: gftfghj <3
Player 2: awww <3
Happy ending for all I had to laugh though; I'd never seen a conversation quite literally one-sided as that before!
I continued to mine, still marvelling at the absence of bots. Gold Ore had dipped in price today, but I suspect that's only due to players dumping the immense stocks they had invested in.
I was nearing a new milestone now... The 11,000,000xp mark! As I mined at the North-eastern gold rock (reading a comic book; never too old for those), I watched as that "ten" turned into an eleven. My, I really was getting close now! "Only" 2,000,000xp until I can wear my second Skillcape ever. I can't wait!
I mined longer, and DivineFury paid a visit to let me assist her with a level 95 Fletching Effigy. I ran off, and continued to mine. It seems that the bots have made no progress in getting back into the game; perhaps Jagex really has solved this problem! Only time will tell.
It was soon time to log off. I said goodbye to everyone and exited Runescape. Only 68% to go until level 98 Mining!
Thanks for reading, and good night!

Hi everyone!
I logged on today, and started some more mining. I miend for a bit before I noticed a familiar player down there with me. It was Dordracio! He had come to pay me a surprise visit! I finished my inventory and rested beside him, chatting. A miner, Bactine, came by. Apparently, I seemed very familiar to him... We started having a big discussion over where he could have possibly seen me. It wasn't the forums; apparently, it was in a chat called "Teh CC" a few year ago. I think he is thinking of another player though. Back then, I hardly socialized with anyone in Runescape!
After discussing this for a while, I finally got back to mining. Soon though, Lion 0fJudah PMed me, asking if I could do him a scouting mission! That sounded like it could be fun... I accepted!
The mission was to scout into the Forinthry dungeon, to look out for PKers. Then, Lion 0fJudah's clan could move in. I ran to the Minecarts with Dordracio in tow, and took a ride to the Grand Exchange. There, I ran west to Edgeville and switched over to Lion 0fJudah's world. Dordracio followed, wanting in on the action.
I deposited all my items (except the Octopus) and ran to the Canoe station, where I made a Waka and paddled to the Wilderness. Dordracio didn't have a high enough Woodcutting level to do this, so he had to stay behind.
I declared the landing pad safe, and I started running west to the Forinthry Dungeon. Inside, I ran to the Revenants. There were a few players there, and not a single PKer team. I announced it safe, and Lion 0fJudh's team rolled in. I thought they were going to be killing revenants, but instead, they started attacking a player! The first one got away, but the next victim wasn't so lucky. They teleblocked him, and started attacking him with Abyssal Whips and Magic, and after a brief struggle, he died.
It was then that the team realized they had forgotten to bring Forinthry Bracelets.

So just as soon as they had arrived, they teleported out. After asking in the Friends Chat, I looted all the food from the victim's spot. I looked around... No one was in the dungeon at all. It was time to kill some revenants! I hadn't brought a weapon, so it would be up to my fists. Who wanted a knuckle sandwich?
The Revenant Imp looked like he wanted some. I started punching him, quickly realizing that this was going to be much more challenging than I had originally thought. For every hit I missed, the Imp was heal right back to full! I had only one option: Wait. I waited for either me to combo it to death, or for it to stop healing (Which it eventually does after a while). Eventually, I killed it, and recieved... Nothing! I ran over to a revenant Goblin and killed it after a while. Woo hoo, 180 coins!
I did this for a while, slowly killing revenants at a pace matching that of geologic years. By the time I left, I had gained a grand total of 571 coins!
As I ran back to Edgeville, (Lion 0fJudah's friend needed a Fletching assist), I realized how little I knew about the Wilderness. There were cliffs I didn't recognize, and a strange shrine that I have no idea what its purpose is. After nearly getting lost, I finally arrived in Edgeville. I put on my armour and waited for Capitathing to arrive. When he did, I recieved experience for assisting him! Unfortunately, 24 hours hadn't passed since I assisted DivineFury, so all I recieved was 5,000xp. 5,000xp I did nothing for, that is.
I headed back to the Living Rock Caverns then, where I mined for the rest of the time I was playing. Although level 99 Mining is a ways away, I only have 1.9m experience to go... Compared to the 6m I started at a few weeks ago, this is really looking good!
Thanks for reading! 62% until level 98 Mining!
Good night!

Hello!
The Citadel build tick had occurred yesterday, so it was time to cap at the Mining Golds Citadel yet again. I teleported over with a Clan Vexillum and started mining ores. Mining Golds is going for a Tier 6 Citadel at the moment, but we will need 200+ clanmates to cap... It will be a challenge, I know that for sure.
But the coolest part is that Jagex has implemented a new tool for Admins+! We can now see if a player has capped or not! This will prove to be very useful, especially because we have a little lottery system for those who cap as an extra incentive. This lottery isn't recurring though; it's just this once, to push us to Tier 6. Because of the added tool, all the clanmates who capped at the Citadel would come to me at the mine to let me know that they had capped, and I could check and confirm it. After all, I must be on the same world as them to check.
I mined my ore for a long time, checking a few clanmates as I went along. After collecting 800 resources, I remembered that I still had to collect 200 Minions from the Summoning Obelisk. I had never even seen the obelisk before, let alone use it!
I ran over there, and asked the clanmate who was using it what I was suppsoed to do. Apparently, I was intended to click on the obelisks when they were ready in order to create minions. I seemed that the obelisks became ready when they chose; in other words, it was random.
I soon got the hang of it. I would wait, my cursor constantly checking the obelisks for clickability. After some time, I finally reached the maximum I could gain there: 200 resources. Back to the mine with me!
