When I logged on today, I was about to get Mining when I remembered a promise that I had made to my clan yesterday. The new build tick had come, and so it was time to cap at the Mining Golds Citadel again. I was still in the Living Rock Caverns, so I clambered up the rope and caught a minecart to the Grand Exchange, where I withdrew a Vexillum and teleported to the Clan Camp.
I entered the portal and entered the Mining Golds Citadel. Wow. This new build tick had improved two of the statues at the entrance to "Grand Statues", and these looked truly magnificent. The statues had been plated with gold, and the bases had widened, allowing for a more ornate decorating. It looked really awesome!
I teleported over to the Timber plot (it was the Primary Goal), and started cutting some timber. NO1s daddy mg was there also, so I chatted with him for a bit. He left soon though, and I was all alone. Luckily, I had lots to do! Mostly, I chatted with clanmates. But I also completed my "Interesting/Popular Thread Directory" for the new sticky! I can't wait for it to get published into the new sticky!
It seemed like I had been cutting that wood for ages... To make matters worse, the storehouse had been upgraded, increasing the Resource Cap to 2000. I had only cut down 400 resources! So I continued to cut those roots down, for the clan. A while later, NO1s daddy mg came back again, but this time, he was on the wall adjacent to the Woodcutting plot. I looked down at me, staring at me. I offered a friendly "Hello!", but he didn't reply. He just stood there. Apparently, he was trying to follow me because whenever I moved, he would align himself with me. Very creepy.
Eventually, he admitted that he was simply incredibly bored, and was trying to find something to do. He ran off shortly after.

And so I continued to cut down those roots. The soil of the floating citadels must be extremely high in nutrients; no sooner than I had cut it down, it had regenerated!
Finally, when I reached 1000 resources cut, I decided to do the other 1000 another day. I walked over to another member who was capping and did a random dance. I walked away casually, leaving them in utter confusion.
As amazing as this may seem to some people, I still felt like Mining! And so I walked from the Clan Camp over to the Living Rock Caverns, depositing the Vexillum on the way.
I mined for quite some time, but not enough to achieve level 96 Mining. For most of the time, I was browsing the forums! This was quite a moment; I think I came across the funniest thread in the entire Forums. I know I'm not really supposed to be sharing a thread like this, but I can't let it go without notice:
QFC: 250-251-634-63269811
I had a good laugh at that thread!
I mined longer, and taught turtle drink how to flip items. I happened to come across an old post that Andrew Gower had made on these forums as well... To my intense shock, his forum avatar is wearing an Octopus, just like me! I guess he knows that Octopi are superior, just like I do.
After mining for a while, I logged off for the day. Lion 0fJudah's event is tomorrow! I'm really excited, and I hope I get something awesome! I think Mining Golds is hosting a Corporeal Beast Mass on Sunday as well, so perhaps I'll get to go to two!
Thanks for reading! Only 66,000xp until level 96 Mining!
Good night!

Hi everyone! Again, thank you for voting in the Skills Chat Lounge!
I entered Runescape, eager to get that Mining level! With only 66,000xp to go, I couldn't wait! I started my Mining, running to and fro each Concentrated Gold rock. When I had 33,000xp to go, a player in Mining Golds announced that there was a Zombie Invasion in World 50 Falador! I had read about that on the homepage, so I immediately switched worlds and ran to Falador. I looked about, but I didn't see a single zombie anywhere... I ran into the Gamer's Grotto, but still didn't see any. While I was there, I took a peek into the Clan Wars. I entered the Free-for-all safe portal.
I was wearing my full rune, so I searched for a fight. I couldn't find anyone my level, so I simply started attacking random players. I had killed two players by the time I decided to leave! Lion 0fJudah's Corporeal Beast event was going to take place in an hour, so I decided to start preparing. I teleported over to the Grand Exchange and purchased my Karil's body and skirt. I put on all my gear, and was astounded at how much I looked like all the other Corporeal Beast killers!
I started working on my inventory. Eventually, I settled on 10 Saradomin Brews, 7 Super Restores, two super sets, a Darklight, a Games Necklace and a Falador Teletab. I checked it with DivineFury and logged off for an hour.
Logging back on, it was time to start my very first Corporeal Beast fight. Strangely, I wasn't nervous... We all met outside the Corporeal Beast's Lair, on a Lootshare world. The world was incredibly laggy; we would have to switch soon. Some players walked in and placed Dwarf Multi Cannons inside the arena, while others turned on Turmoil. We all entered, myself with Protect from Melee on.
It wasn't as bad as I had thought; initially. It was all going fine until the Dark Core entered the arena. This thing would not leave me alone.

I ran about, trying to shake off the Dark Core, but wherever I went, it followed me. I was getting really annoyed! At the same time, the Corporeal Beast had turned on me, and was hitting 400+! I gulped down my Saradomin Brews, barely managing to tank the behemoth's attacks. And just as soon as it had started, it had finished. The rest of the kill went smoothly, and DivineFury got the drop of 100 noted Goat Horns. We did two more kills, myself recieving 500 Cosmic Runes! A few rounds later, I looked at my health and I was dead.
I'm not too sure how it happened, but it was a horrible feeling; especially because graves do not appear in the Corporeal Beast's Lair. I ran to the nearest bank and withdrew a Games Necklace. With that, I quickly teleported to the Corporeal Beast and entered the lair again. I ran in to retrieve my items, taking massive damage from the huge monster. I managed to escape though, with all my items. Mining Golds was having a Corporeal Beast mass, but I didn't quite feel up to it after dying. So back to mining I went.
I was so close to level 96 Mining! With only 9,000xp to go, I left the Living Rock Caverns again, finally deciding to go to the Mining Golds Corporeal Beast mass. We looked for a world for ages, and finally, we found a world! There were only three non-members there, and we were sure we could overpower them. But when we stepped in, we saw that there was a clan of 30+ people already there! So back to finding world. After searching forever, we finally came across another world. This one actually didn't have anyone.
Once again, the Dark Core only went after me. It was driving me insane! How could it always go after me like that? Even more annoying was how Aman IV, a clanmate, got the charm drop from the monster every single kill. I have no idea how he did that, but I want to get that sort of luck too! Eventually, I did get a drop: 250 Soul Runes.

We were there for along time, and I eventually converted from Saradomin Brews to Rocktails. At one point, I was down to 180lp, when I teleported out. I spawned at my house with 78lp...
I continously went after it, kill after kill. The Dark Core and I became worst enemies. I don't think there's anything on Runescape I dislike quite as much as that. A while later, I was tanking the Corporeal Beast as usual, when I started getting hit incredibly hard. 470, then 300, then 200, and I was dead. That was it for me. Just my luck, my items were now underneath the beast, so while I tried to get my items, I was repeatedly hit with 400s. After finally getting my items back, I left. That was enough Corporeal Beast for me.
I have to say, I didn't like my firt time at the Corporeal Beast. It seemed to always target me, and its Dark Core had a particular hunger for Grimwold2's soul. The beast was much more powerful than I had originally thought though; I have a new found respect for players who solo it.
Eternum (OverMauled's new name) had PMed me now, wanting me to be the last kill for him to recieve the 2000 kill Duellist Cap! I teleported over there with a Ring of Duelling, and started a match with him. I took off all my armour and waited for him to kill me, Eternum, with his full steel. He could hit surpringly high for a level 38!
He killed me eventually, but his hat didn't upgrade... At first. He was just fooling with me! He upgraded his hat to Tier 5, and my, did it look great! It was a dark blue with gold trim, and it looked amazing! I congratulated him on it, and he tried to give me a present. I don't accept presents much, so I denied it quickly. But I did owe him a birthday gift... We made a compromise. I would accept his gift, then I would give it back to him for his birthday gift! He gave it to me, then teleport off. I guess I should have seen that coming. I guess that's one way of tricking people into accepting gifts :P

I headed over to the Citadel then, to finish up on my capping. There were a few players at the Kiln, so I headed over to the Precious Bar Furnace and started making some bars. After a while, one of the players at the Kiln, ForeverDrex, came by and started helping. This meant that the charcoal was going down at a faster rate though, so I switched over to do Charcoal. The player there seemed like he was doing fine though, so I sitched over to the Timber plot again. I cut those roots for a long while, and I actually achieved level 82 Woodcutting!
Eternum invited me over to join in his money-making scheme. He had made millions off of this! Here's the secret money-making technique... Scamming. Scamming scammers, that is. The trick was to convince a "Money Doubler" that you would do a larger amount after your test amount, which would be in one trade. I joined him in World 1 Grand Exchange (completely auto-typer free) and watched as he attempted it. I tried talking a few of them into it, but they didn't seem to budge.
I think "Money Doubling" is one of the sworst scams ever. If you actually think about it, why would a player willingly give their money to you? More so, why in two trades? I really love it when they say "100k test". Everyone knows that that's just the minimum they're willing to scam...
I didn't manage to trick any scammers, nor did Eternum. So instead, I headed back to the Citadel.
I cut those roots down for a while longer, and finally, I hit my Resource Cap of 2000! No more guilt for me!
And now I could finally get that Mining level that I'd been waiting all day for. I descended into the Living Rock Caverns and mined for a bit. After not long, I achieved level 96 Mining! The distance from level 97 was a little intimidating though... 1,007,000xp!
And so I mined for the rest of my playing time (not too much). Only 940,000xp until level 97 now! There is also a Corporeal Beast event tomorrow... I might go to that too...
Thanks for reading!
Bye!

I logged on today in the Living Rock Caverns. The second Mining Golds Corporeal Beast event would commense in about an hour and a half, so I had some time to mine. I mined for a bit, and by the time I had 900,000xp until level 97 Mining, I left the Living Rock Caverns to watch l Draconic l achieve 99 Cooking.
I took a minecart down to the Grand Exchange, where I ran south the the Cook's Guild. Some of l Draconic l's friends were already there, waiting. We waited for the man of the hour to arrive, and when he did, we all recieved Chef Hats to enter the Guild with. He lit a fire and cooked a shark... And 99 Cooking was his! We danced and congratulated him as he bought his new skillcape! We watched as he did his new emote, all of us congratulating him. The Mining Golds event was just around the corner though, so I left to get prepared.
After getting all my items, I met Mining Golds at the Corporeal Beast. Gardenson was hosting, se we all entered his Friends Chat. Once Lootshare was on, we entered the arena. I was still wary from yesterday; we'd see how it went.
Once again, there was a player who happened to recieve every drop, over and over. Her name was itro. It was ridiculous. For 25+ kills, she recieved every drop, no exception. Some clanmates were getting pretty angry, and with good reason. Eventually, after an hour, she ceased to get non-stop drops. Not only that, but I recieved my first drop! 175 Onyx Bolts (e)... About $1,500,000. It could turn out to be a good trip!
Even better, the Dark Core wasn't picking on me anymore, and the Corporeal Beast itself was ignoring me! I went on and on, banking and returning. I was scared to log off though; Just imagine if I logged off and they got a sigil!
At one point, the Corporeal Beast wa son me solidly. I was eating as much food as I could, as the foe dealed out 300s over and over. A couple clanmates actually commented on it!

I think I must have gone through 15 Rocktails. The kills went on and on, and I still didn't get another drop. When we finally saw that amazing Coinshare message, it was only for a Spirit Shield... $2,000 each.
The kills literally dragged on for hours, and I watched helplessly as players recieved drop after drop, and I still hadn't receieved anything for two hours... It was due time right?
Words cannot describe how mad I was at that event. Players such as ForeverMandy and Coors Lite recieved drop after drop, while Pacho1116 and I never got a single one. BY this time, three hours had gone by without me getting a single drop.
Five hours in, we recieved our first 'big' Coinshare! About $60,000 each, from a Holy Elixir. I still hadn't recieved an individual drop in ages though. I was starting to get quite mad. How come everyone else could get drops, but Pacho1116 and I couldn't? It wasn't fair!
Every break I took, I was terrified that the team would get a sigil without me. It never happened though... Finally, after six hours of camping at the beast, I stopped. I couldn't take it anymore. How is it possible to camp at that thing for six hours and not get a drop? Yes, Lootshare was on for sure. So can anyone please explain to me how that is possible?
By the time I logged off, I hadn't gotten a single drop for six hours, and I was spent. I no longer cared about sigils. I just wanted a drop. Anything, anything at all. Be it a sapphire, a couple coins... ANYTHING! But no, it was the same people who got the drops every time, always leaving Pacho1116 and I out of the loop.
By my undertsanding, I should have about 10,000,000 Loot Share Points now... So I might actually go to a Bandos Mass and see if I can get any drops there.
I still can't believe it... six hours... I'm sure that's some sort of record.
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Deathcon II, 2011.
Deathcon II is released! Holiday events are one of my favourite parts of Runescape, and I couldn't wait to get started!
But first, I met with Camdozaal at the Edgeville bank and finally retrieved my Dragonfire Shield! In exchange, I returned to him his Zamorak Spear and Amulet of Fury.
I've been sort of slacking on the Miscellania Kingdom, so I decided to receive my resources for the last time and withdraw all the money in the coffers. I received a ton of Bird's Nests, along with a huge variety of herbs. I teleported back to the Grand Exchange and started sifting through all the Bird's Nests. No particularly good seeds, but the prize is the Crushed Nest in itself! I crushed all of the nests, and then put them up for sale along with the Onyx Bolts (e) I had received yesterday.
And now it was time to visit the Grim Reaper's Citadel! I teleported to the Clan Camp and looked around for Frank. J ame S came to the rescue and told me where to find him. Now I could start the event!
Upon entering the Citadel, I was in awe. It was beautifully decorated (beautiful as in creepy) and it looked like a lot of effort was put into it. I found my way to the Message Board, where I discovered that Frank needed my help with the fireworks on the roof of the Citadel. I searched around for a bit and finally found the entrance! Up the stairs I went until I found Frank with his chicken, Horses. The idea of this puzzle was to move Horses to the different fireworks on the tiled floor. Unfortunately, Horses only moved in an "L" pattern, making it very difficult to maneuver. To make it worse, obstacles were scattered everywhere!
I retrieved the first firework easily, but the second proved to be much harder.

I fumbled around with the second firework for some time, I gave up on that one. There were two other fireworks to get, so I went to work on those. I retrieved one of them easily, and then went back to the original one. I had a different game plan though. I looked at that tiles I would need to go on, and then looked at which tiled I would need to go on to reach those ones. Eventually, I traced it back to a tile I could easily access, and then it all fell neatly into place. I retrieved my firework and retrieved the last on using that same technique.
The next puzzle was to help Infinity with the dance floor. I can't explain how this worked; it was very confusing! I took ages at it though, until finally, I figured out that you could ask Infinity for help. After that, I very slowly pieced everything together, and my sequencing for the dance floor was done! That was by far the most difficult puzzle in the entire event.
The last puzzle was to help Beauty put together the statues at the welcoming Portal. This was actually much easier than I thought it would be, and in only a few minutes, I had finished the puzzle!
With that done, it was time to speak with Death himself. I entered his tent and received my rewards! I won't spoil what they are, but I can tell you, they're pretty cool!
I left the event, with my rewards and a brand new emote! My onyx bolts (e) had just sold, so I rushed over to the Falador Bank and collected my money. I now have a cashpile of 11m... I worked out that if I sell all the random items in my bank that I never use, I would have a cashpile of 30m! The problem is, I have problems with selling items from my bank... I always feel like I'll need them for later!
While I was at the Falador Bank, I withdrew some gear to go and recharge my shield. I teleported to Ardougne and took a boat over to Brimhaven.
