His next clue was "Near a place where you start a quest for helms.". This gave it away right away! He must be in Relleka! I started running back the way I had come, but suddenly saw a player sitting under a tree. I checked to see who it was... It was MIKE! I ran over to him, admiring his Completionist's Cape. According to MIKE, I had actually run past him before! He traded me my 5m in winnings, while wishing me a Merry Christmas
I tended to my items in the Grand Exchange and headed back to the Hellhounds. Three kills in, I got another Hard Clue Scroll! I headed out and completed it, earning myself some beautiful Purple Gnomish Firelighters. Again, I tended to my items and returned to the Hellhounds. I slayed there for quite a while, and after fourty kills, I recieved another Hard Clue Scroll! Off I went!
The reward for this one was another 65k loot... Today was a bad day for Treasure Trails My Assist limit was now up! I could get my Fletching assists! I had been holding onto my effigy for this time (I had already opened the 91 Mining stage), so I teleported to Daemonheim, World 117. I got my 30,000xp in Fletching very quickly, so to prevent more assist requests, I put on my Mining Cape. I hunted about for a 93 Farming offerer for quite a while. When I finally found one, I unlocked the effigy to the next stage: 95 Herblore. Not a single player at Daemonheim was offering Herblore! Thankfully, ForeverMandy in my clan came through for me! I met her in Edgeville in World 88. That was it! I had my tenth Gorged Effigy banked! It was a pretty cool sight seeing a complete row of Effigies.

k1lled PMed me then. He wanted to give me a Christmas present! I met him at the Troll Invasion in World 22, where he gave me 1m, along with 240 White Berries, one Regen Bracelet, one Mystic Robe Top and 100 Onyx Bolts (e)! It totalled about 2.4m! Thanks a ton k1lled!
I banked my items and collected all my money from the Grand Exchange. It had been one successful day... Some how, through all my merching, presents, Corporeal Beast drops and hide and seek winnings, I had gone from a 54m cashpile to a 64m one! I'm really, really excited by how my money is coming along. It's my hopes and dreams that next Christmas, I'll be able to make a thread on the forums and purchase everyone's Christmas gifts!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Merry Christmas everyone!
Ahh, Christmas day. Although the ideal Christmas includes slow carols and lazy snowflakes, my holiday consisted of none of these things. Instead, the sun was out, the birds were singing and the tunes were blasting. It definitely did not feel like Christmas.
I received lots of amazing gifts, but my favourite had to be a professionally hand-drawn lampblack portrait of my dog. I love my dog more than anything in the world, and I was so happy that I'll be able to have a memento of him for the rest of my life. He's certainly ruined me for dogs; I'll never be able to have another dog again! Nothing will quite compare...
After visiting with relatives and catching up with family business, I logged on to Runescape a lot later than normal. In fact, I didn't have much time to play! When I did log on, I was at the Grand Exchange. I immediately set up a few items to flip. Lion 0fJudah PMed me, asking me what my Summoning level was. I could tell that it would be in my best interest to get level 68 Summoning as fast as possible, for my own sake!
Lion 0fJudah, being a nice guy, calculated how many pouches I would have to make to reach level 68. I would need about 939 pouches of Smoke Devil, so I purchased the required tertiary ingredient, Goat Horn Dust, and got ready. Although it is much faster to use the Piscatoris Fishing Colony Summoning Obelisk, I prefer to use the obelisk in Taverly. It may be slower, but I find it easier and more relaxing.

My technique was simple: Teleport to my house in Taverly via a Teletab, infuse the pouches, then teleport to the Mobilising Armies bank. Each trip earned me about 6,000xp, so the experience was quite fast. Each level only took about ten minutes, and when I had reached level 66, I achieved a combat level of 119! One more to go!
I've decided that when I got to the Corporeal Beast masses, I'm not going to be praying for a sigil drop. Instead, I'll use the little drops as an added bonus to my flipping income! it's going to be great! I continued with the Summoning training, until finally, I achieved level 68. I could now use a Bunyip! I could also use a War Tortoise; that could be useful!
I did a bit of research to try and figure out what I should do with the pouches. I could either trade them in for Spirit Shards and then sell the shards, or I could simply sell the pouches outright. They ended up being about the same... So for simplicity's sake, I sold the pouches outright. I tended to my items and bought my first thirty Bunyip pouches. For some reason, I thought that I needed to use the Bunyip's scrolls to access the healing ability. But instead, I only needed to have the Bunyip summoned!
I was still on a Hellhound task, so I grabbed my gear, along with a Bunyip, and headed to Kuradal's Dungeon. Inside, I summoned a Bunyip for the first time. I started slaying the Hellhounds, chatting as usual to the fellow slayers. I could notice a visible difference with the Bunyip; I didn't have to east nearly as often, and sometimes, I would be down to 500lp and slowly rise to full health! Although it didn't negate the need to eat entirely, I can easily admit that the Bunyip certainly extended the time I could stay on these long Slayer trips. That Bunyip is going to be my Slayer buddy!
After a while of killing Hellhounds, I received an Ancient Effigy! It seemed that my unnaturally long dry streak last week was being redeemed!

I continued slaying until I got a Hard Clue Scroll! Although I was tempted to leave straight away, I didn't want to waste my Bunyip... So I stayed. I had never thought of that drawback. My extreme Treasure Trail hunting might be hindered! I stayed at the Hellhounds until I finished the task. I had managed to finish with a significant amount of food left, something I would have never been able to do without a Bunyip.
k1lled PMed me then. He asked me all sorts of questions about Mining Golds, and in the end, he wanted an invitation! I later met him at the bank in Zanaris, where Mining Gold gave him a hearty welcome!
Now it was time to get my effigy to the Gorged state! I first needed 91 Runecrafting... I asked in Mining Golds, and Briarheart was able to assist me in the Living Rock Caverns on World 84. I teleported over there and ran to the caves, where I hopped worlds. I searched all over for him, calling out for him, PMing him... Nothing. Finally, I saw an orange dot on my minimap! He had found me! I got my assist and carried on my way!
The next step was 93 Fletching. I had that covered! The last step was 95 Construction... I asked in Mining Golds again, and Zest Charmer was able to assist me on World 22, at Daemonheim. I travelled to the Grand Exchange via the minecarts and teleported to Daemonheim with a Ring of Kinship. On World 22, I got my 95 Construction assist! Now I have eleven Gorged effigies!
Now I could finally do my Clue Scroll! This Treasure Trail consisted entirely of emote clues... First at the Fishing Guild, then the Haunted Woods, then Sophanem and finally in Shilo Village. My reward was quite low... 59k. I collected my money from the Grand Exchange and logged off. I was pretty happy with how my flipping had done! I had spent a lot of money today, but I only lost about 500k!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hi!
I logged on in the Grand Exchange, where I started setting up my flipping items. That done, I grabbed a Bunyip and some food and headed out to the Fairy Ring. Gargoyles were in desperate need of being slain! I'm really starting to love my Bunyip! They extend my trips immensely, and sometimes, I don't even need food!
I arrived in the Gargoyle pit, immediately realizing that I had yet again forgotten a Rock Hammer. I returned later, after buying one from Kuradal. I started slaying the Gargoyles, amazed that my Bunyip as healing me so well. After thirty kills, I still hadn't eaten a piece of food!
A few kills later, Tankerchief announced that he was hosting another Bandos mass! Every time I've been with him, I always profit... It was a no brainer. I left right away, and started stocking up for the trip. I brought a Bunyip along with me too; With these masses, I generally don't eat a lot of food. I also brought along a War Tortoise Pouch. Not for me though-- Lion 0fJudah was coming too, and he wanted me to bring him one.
As soon as I set foot into the God Wars Dungeon, I realized that I had forgotten to bring God Items. Armadyl, Saradomin and Zamorak followers began attacking me, and I was forced to take their hits as I ran to the Bandos area. The Zamorak minions in the area were a real annoyance... Luckily, Tankerchief himself happened to be in the area, so he lent me his Zamorak Arrow. The next ten minutes or so were spent killing Goblins and Jogres, slowly edging my way to the 40 Kill Count. When I finally got it, I traded Tankerchief back his Zamorak Arrow and ran to the Boss door.

I stood at the Boss's Door, killing the occasional Bloodveld that decided to attack me. There was a group of players in the Boss room still, and they were almost done. We waited patently for them to be finished. When they had all left, we filed in, Lion 0fJudah assuming the Tanker role. We had nine players-- this was going to be fun! Because I had been to a few masses now, my LootShare Points were finally at par with everyone else. Now I could get drops!
The kills were fast and fun, and I managed to get a lot of the coin drops. I did get a few Rune items, which I traded to the clanmates "Notes" for money. She had alchs, so she would simply alch them for herself. The kills went by fairly uneventful. We got the standard drops, and nothing unique. I managed to get myself a few Ourg Bones and a ton of coins. After quite a long time, we finally managed to get a coveted Bandos item. General Graardor dropped a Bandos Chestplate! We were on CoinShare, so we each got a 1.7m split. It was now worth the trip!
We went on for a while more, hoping for a second Bandos item. At one point, Lion 0fJudah had to go away form his computer, so Tankerchief filled in his role. Eventually, a bunch of our team members teleported out, along with Lion 0fJudah. Tankerchief took the tanking role, but for some reason, General Graardor went after Notes, the ranger! Notes had very poor melee defence, and after running around, she eventually teleported herself out. General Graardor spun on his spot, and dealt a 560 to an unwary Tankerchief, killing him on the spot. I blessed his grave while General Graardor turned his attention to Jetship. The boss was almost dead, so we quickly finished him off.
Now the question was: What do we do? It was now just Jetship, wify and I. We decided to trio a kill and hope for a big split. I was voted to be the tanker, as I had the most food. I stepped out into the opening, waiting for the spawn. But wait! I had forgotten an emergency teleport!

I ran back to the wall, and just as I was explaining my situation, General Graardor spawned. He apparently dislikes Jetship, as he went after him again. I attacked the boss as besta s I could, and when he finally went down, Jetship was all out of food. He helped wify and I kill the minions and he teleported away. No enormous split...
Well there was no way that wify and I were going to be able to duo the boss. wify was a lower level than I was, and I had difficulty tanking it! Not having a teleport in my inventory, I sat down and cast my Home Teleport; the professional way to escape any scene! Never before had I realized how long that spell takes to cast. Every second that went by was a chance that the boss would spawn mid-spell. I was so nervous! It had been quite a while since the boss had been slain, and I knew that it could spawn at any moment. I was just teleporting away when the boss spawned. I was safe!
Not. A Ranger Minion spawned right next to me, and managed to strike me as my body was between teleports. This caused the teleport to cancel, and I was forced back into the boss room. The boss spun about and hit me with a 600. Staying calm (sort of) I flashed on Protect from Melee. This meant that I was open to ranged attacks however. The rangers took no hesitation at this opening, and started launching attacks on me. I sat there eating, as damage was dealt in quantities as high as 400.
I had to get out! I tried the main door, but found that it wouldn't open from this side! There had to be some way out... I wasn't going to die! I had my Bandos Tassets, Amulet of Fury, Whip Vine, Dragonfire Shield, Karil's Top... I couldn't lose all that! I suddenly remembered the teleport option on the Bandos Altar. It was my only hope. I made a dash to it, praying that I was going to be able to use it during combat. If not, I would have to see how I held up against General Graardor.

I sprinted to the Altar, which happened to be on the very far side of the room. I soaked in hit after hit, and when I used the teleport option, I was flooded with relief. It teleported me safely out into a part of the Bandos area. I was at 210lp-- that could have been one hit!
Thankful, I Home Teleported to the safety of Lumbridge. I was a little shaken; I had almost lost 30m+ in items! I headed off to the Grand Exchange to tend to my items, as well as sell the drops I had received. My flipping items were buying and selling rather quickly... I stayed at the bank for a while, buying and selling the items. When they stopped flooding in, I gathered my Slayer gear. Back to the Gargoyles!
This time, I remembered my Rock Hammer! A clanmate, Capt Krunchy, was there so he and I chatted for a while. As usual, the Bunyip worked wonders; I didn't have to eat anything! After a ton of kills, I got a Hard Clue Scroll! I didn't want to waste my Bunyip though, so I continued killing the Gargoyles until the Bunyip disappeared. Now I could do the Treasure Trail! I set out, in search of treasure.
There wasn't much treasure to be found... My reward was worth only 60k! I tended to my items again, while selling what loot I had. For some reason, I'm finding flipping items really fun!
I returned again to the Gargoyles. Capt Krunchy was gone, and in his place was a maxed player! I complimented him on his beautiful cape, and we chatted for a while. I always find it cool to talk to the experienced veteran players. After a ton more kills, I got another Hard Clue Scroll! I also achieved level 86 Strength! My Bunyip was almost out, and I only had a few kills to go, so I finished the task. Before leaving for my Treasure Trail, I asked Kuradal for a new task: 190 Aberrant Spectres... Perhaps if I used my Karil's set with a Bunyip, I wouldn't have to use Prayer!

My Treasure Trail didn't go too well either... It was only worth 30k! I sold it all and continued to tend to my items. It seems that flipping is getting more and more profitable! I had four items on the go. One made me about 900k per flip, two made 600k per flip, and the last made 300k per flip. It was really fun flipping; I'm not sure why I hadn't been doing it all along!
I soon noticed a player with Bandos and an Elysian Spirit Shield approach another player. He asked this player if he could borrow Bandos Tassets for just a couple seconds for a "Screenshot". The overuse of smiley faces made it obvious that he was a scammer. But to my amazement, the other player agreed to it! Right as he turned to trade, I sprinted over to him, telling him to wait. I explained to him what was going to happen; he would lose his Bandos Tassets! As soon as I explained everything to him, the would-be scammer logged off. The player thanked me for saving his Bandos Tassets, and I went back to flipping. Another scammer bites the dust!
Well, it was another successful day. My cashpile had gone from 63m to 69m! It was time to do something that I had always wanted to do. I took my most expensive items (excluding Barrows and Dragonfire Shield) and put it with my coins. I then price checked it. Last time I had done this, a long, long time ago, the result was about 30m. Now, I stared at a nine figure number. It seems that my bank is now worth 160m... It's going to take some time to save up for that Elysian Spirit Shield, but it's going to be worth it! After that, I think I will continue to flip for money. I'll use the money for two things: Skills and presents.
Just imagine, Christmas 2012. I would have a thread just like "A League of Santas", and I would get to buy everyone their Christmas gift! I do hope I get to do that... Seeing players getting their dream items is a sight I love to see.
Thanks for reading!
Good night!
