I just wasn't having fun killing those dragons. I left after a while to pursue other things.
I was having a really difficult time trying to figure out a way to make money. I logged off of Runescape for a few hours.
When I came back, I went on another Herb run. This time, I got 35 herbs! I sat at the Grand Exchange for a long time. The nice part about the Grand Exchange being split into four groups is that these smaller groups are more open to conversation. I started chatting with a player who was Fletching. He was just about to get a 1700 total level! I congratulated him as soon as he got the level, and we started talking about ways to make money. His friend joined in, and we all started chatting. Soon though, he left, as did his friend, and I was stuck there, wondering how to make money.
Then I remembered. Every time I had gone to the Chaos Dwarf Battlefield, I had made a profit! Hmmm... That could be a good idea. I decided to do it. I hadn't been to that battlefield for a long, long time... In fact, I had forgotten some of the techniques and strategies needed for it. I grabbed the gear I thought I would need, and made my way to the Chaos Dwarf Battlefield. I decided that it would be best to wait though... I logged off.
Thanks for reading! See you later!

I logged on in front of the Chaos Dwarf Battlefield. It was time to get myself a Dragon Pickaxe. I entered and immediately had to switch worlds. I wanted to be alone.
It seemed every world I went to, there were players there. Now that's better than bots any day, but it can still be a little annoying. After switching multiple times, I finally found an empty world. I started killing the dwarves. I must have gone through hundreds upon hundreds of kills, and still no Dragon Pickaxe! Also, the lag was incredible. At a few moments, I actually left the cave because the lag was so bad. I was hopping to low density worlds, low ping worlds, hoping to rid myself of the horrific lag. What one earth could be causing it? I had every graphic setting turned to low, no other tabs open, and I was on a low ping world.
Finally, after ages of trying to fix the lag, I figured out what the problem was. Down on my toolbar, I noticed a symbol that looked like a brick wall with an animated green circle. I moused over it and saw: "Windows Defender: Scanning in Progress". I clicked that and stopped the automatic scanning. The lag was fixed instantly! Man, I was happy.
I headed back into the cavern and began killing more. I was there for three hours, and I never got a single Dragon Pickaxe. I did, however, get a Medium Clue Scroll, two Handcannons and 600 Hand Cannon Shot along with an Ancient Effigy! Still though, I had been hoping to get that valuable drop... After all that time, I decided to leave.
I now had two effigies in my bank. It was time to get those lamps! I started at the Grand Exchange, looking for both a 91 Farming assist and a 91 Construction assist. Before long, a player assisted me with the Construction assist. I headed to world 117 Daemonheim to get the rest of the assists. I was there for quite some time. Herblore assists were easy to get; everyone there was offering it.

Getting a Smithing assist was much more difficult. The only player there who seemed to be offering it was charging players 100k... If I'm going to be giving a player experience, they should be paying me! Eventually, a player approached me and assisted me. After a while, I finally managed to open both of my effigies, and I even managed to get all my Fletching assists!
I used both Dragonkin Lamps on Runecrafting, and got 60,000xp towards it! Now it was time to finish my Medium Clue Scroll... After I go on a Farm run. I visited all my herbs, and thankfully, not a single one had died.
I started my clue scroll. It wasn't very long, and good thing too; I got next to nothing as a reward. An Adamant Crossbow, a Yew Longbow and a few teleport scrolls. I still didn't really know what to do... I decided to camp out at Hellhounds for a clue scroll.
I have a feeling that the chances of getting a clue scroll are higher if the monster is your Slayer task. Usually, I kill only a few Hellhounds and I get a clue. Not this time. I killed tons of them, and got nothing but Gold Charms. I did, however get another Ancient Effigy! I'm always tempted to get the Dragonkin Lamp right away, but this time, I was determined to hoard a bunch of Gorged Ancient Effigies. After I had run out of food (and gained a healthy amount of Attack experience!) I went out to try and find some players who could assist me. Ratatosk from my clan told me to come to Lumbridge; he could help me out!
He assisted me twice, once for 91 Herblore and once for 93 Farming. Next up was 95 Runecrafting... I joined the Mining Golds overflow clan chat, MiningGolds, and asked Scret if he could assist me. He could! I hopped to his world and met him at the grand fountain in the Grand Exchange. I now had my first Gorged Effigy for my collection!
At the bank there, I player needed a 97 Fletching assist. Of course, I was already maxed for assists...

I told him a few things he could try, but before I could go any longer, a player started harrassing this player about not having 99 Fletching. Really? Are we really going to make fun of someone just because they don't have two digital nines next to each other beside an icon? No. That's just... That's just pathetic. I told him to leave the player alone, and he ran off laughing. I tell you, the future of the Internet doesn't look so great, as more and more immature people begin to use it.
The player I was helping thanked me and left. I went on one last farming run and tried to think of another way to make some money. Instead, Walwb and I decided to go Wilderness PKing in High Risk Wilderness! Bad idea.
He entered and got a playe's health down tons, while I teleblocked the player and KOed him with a Korasi Special Attack. I didn't get the drop of course; it was all for Walwb. I told him to go and get his drop. A ranger started attacking me. Unfortunately, I died wih my Korasi... Even worse, I had no idea that they were worth 245k! That ranger must have been quite happy!
I started one-iteming with my Dragon Dagger, attacking all the looters hanging about the lever. They all had food of course, so I never really killed anyone. It was just for fun though. After fifteen minutes, I learned that Walwb for some reason hadn't gone to pick up his loot... So we didn't make anything out of it. In fact, I lost a ton of money!
I decided to go back to the ultimate "nooby" way of making money: Catching Polar Kebbits. It was a lot easier this time, considering I had access to the Fairy Rings. After catching twelve of them, I decided to call it a day.

Today I decided to take J ame s' advice and try out Easy Clue Scroll hunting. At first though, I had wanted to pickpocket Varrock Guards for Medium Clues. That didn't go over quite as well as I had planned. Somehow, they caught me every time I attempted it, even though I have a much higher Thieving level than what is required. So after a few minutes of utter frustration, I headed off to the H.A.M. Hideout.
It took quite a while to steal my first Easy Clue, but I finally got it! Not that I got anything good from it... From that one, I recieved a pair of Black Platelegs and three Lumberyard Teleports.
I headed back to the H.A.M. Hideout again and started pickpocketing. It was truly amazing just how many useless items you can get from these H.A.M. Members. Why are they carrying Rusty Swords in their pack?
After being beaten unconscious a few times, I finally got my next clue. This one wasn't too long, and ended in a shed north of East Ardougne. I opened my casket and laid my eyes on the best clue reward I've ever gotten. I couldn't believe it! I stared in disbelief at the Saradomin Page 1 that I had been rewarded. I had never gotten something this good before, let alone from an easy clue. Ironic, huh? The page was priced at about $1,190,000. I stashed it in my bank to sell at the end of the day.
Dordracio came by and accompanied me in the hunt for Clue Scrolls. I'll tell you right now that I didn't get anything else good from the clues. My third one rewarded me with Studded Chaps and three Phoenix Lair Teleports...

My fourth clue rewarded me with fifty Mind Runes, 132 Coins, Studded Chaps and three Bandit Camp Teleports. From my fifth, I recieved six Law Runes and 37 Guthix Arrows, while from my sixth, I obtained a Full Black Helm, seven Salmon, 35 Air Runes, and four biscuits.
After that clue, I had just teleported to Lumbridge when I saw a low level player celebrating that he had just gotten membership. I PMed him, and asked if he wanted a small tutorial guiding him about the member's worlds. He replied quite rudily that he had been playing free-to-play for six years, and for me to get off his friends list. Nice.
I didn't fair so well from my seventh clue either, from which I recieved ten Trout, a Full Black Helm and five biscuits. My eighth gave me 120 coins and ten Fetch Casket Scrolls, and my last and final one, my ninth clue scroll, gave me 48 Air Runes and two Bandit Camp teleports. Dordracio unfortunately didn't recieve any good loot either. It was nice having him in the hideout though; someone to talk to while we attempt to get clue scrolls.
I was still pretty excited about my Saradomin Page 1! I headed off to the Grand Exchange to sell it, along with my Snapdragons. I decided to put the Saradomin Page 1 up to +5%, just so that I would get the maximum price possible for it. So instead of getting 1.2m for it, I actually sold it for 2m! Then along with my Snapdragons, I ended up with a cashpile of 6m. Only a little ways to go now until I can buy that Zamorak Godsword!
I asked TheSpiffiest if I could have my Brackish Blade back, so he simply bought a new one for me. I was walking to the bank when a player came to me and asked me if I was Davy Jones. Why certainly I am. I told him that the ocean got boring, so I came to Runescape. He asked me how Calypso was going, but unfortunately, I told him, the relationship has fallen apart. It went on like this for quite some time.
Wearing an Octopus sure does make things interesting!
Thanks for reading, and see you!

I had my Brackish Blade back! Now I could kill those Black Dragons really efficiently. I bought a bunch of Prayer potions first, then headed off to Zanaris. I forgot my Raw Chicken of course, so I ran to the bank to retrieve it.
I started killing the dragons. There was only one other player there, and he was using a Zamorakian Spear. He wasn't picking up any Black Dragonhides, so I made it my duty to pick them up. After my fifth kill there, I got another Starved Ancient Effigy! I finished off my load and went for another. After my second trip, I entered Lion 0fJudah's Friends Chat. He was about to get 99 Attack!
I finished off that trip and grabbed my effigy. Lion 0fJudah said he would assist the required level 91 Herblore, but I couldn't wait! I asked Ratatosk in my clan if he would assist it. I teleported to the Watchtower and ran to the Yanille POH, where I switched worlds and met with him. The next assist I needed was 93 Cooking. Ratatosk didn't want to assist that, so I asked in my clan again. No responses. Instead, I switched to Lion 0fJudah's world and waited at the POH, for Lion 0fJudah to come.
DivineFury appeared, and we chatted for a while. Turns out, he used to read this thread! Weird, huh? He had recently been hacked, and he was in the process of recovery. We chatted for a long while, and we added each other.
Another one of Lion 0fJudah's friends came by: TDS Gerard. Soon after that, the man of the hour himself came by! We filed into his house, and more people came. We started just some regular duelling. I would have brought my full gear, but I had forgotten that I don't have a Korasi anymore!

After a while of duelling, Lion 0fJudah decided to get 99 Attack on DivineFury. He entered the ring, we readied our messages, and he got 99 Attack! He teleported to the Warriors Guild, where he bought his Attack Skillcape, then he teleported back to his house.
Congratulations Lion 0fJudah!
I asked if anyone there had level 93 Cooking. Apparently not, so I left the house and asked in my clan again. Thankfully, a clanmate had it, so I joined his world and met him at the Grand Exchange. Next up was 95 Runecrafting. I asked Scret again, but he was maxed for assists, so off to world 117 Daemonheim I went. After a while of searching for someone to assist me, I finally found a player. Now I have two Gorged Effigies for the collection! While I was there, I got my 30,000xp for Fletching!
Now it was time for Black Dragons again. But before I could get there, Super Spiffy asked me to make him an Argonite 2H Sword. I teleported to Daemonheim and joined his party. Soon after starting though, Super Spiffy had to go to dinner, so I stayed and attempted to get four Argonite Bars. It was pretty hard killing monsters with a Novite Pickaxe, I'll tell you that. I got two bars from a mining rock, and the other two I bought. Super Spiffy finally joined again, and I made him his Argonite 2H Sword!
By the time I was finished with that though, it was time to log off.
Thanks for reading! See you later!

I logged on at Daemonheim. It was time to finish off that Black Dragon ask once and for all! I grabbed my gear and headed off to Zanaris. I was really the only player there, so I had the whole area to myself. After my first trip, I was in the cavern for a second time, my last trip. On my third to last kill, I looked at the drop. There was something there that didn't look like the usual items I get from Black Dragons... Could it really be the legendary drop? My heart had skipped a few beats or two, and I right-clicked the pile and saw... A Hard Clue Scroll. So it wasn't a Draconic Visage, but hey: Clue Scrolls are awesome too!
I finished up my task (90th task in a row!) and went on a quick farm run. After that, I went on to do my Clue Scroll. Pretty standard clue with pretty standard loot: The best being 47 Guthix Arrows. I travelled to Duradel for my next task, which happened to be Greater Demons.
I grabbed my Dragon Hatchet and ran through the Brimhaven Dungeon, hacking my way through the vines. Finally, I made it there, and had to put up with the constant harrassment of the Wild Dogs. I was there for quite some time. I had to kill 190+ of them, after all. I didn't really get any special drops, save for another Hard Clue Scroll!
The trip was not in vain though; I got 89 Attack! Only one more level to go until I can Dungeoneer again!
After a long while, I finally managed to finish that task. I went on another quick Farming run, and then embarked on my second clue scroll for the day. After completing two Puzzle Boxes in a row, I got my reward! Nothing too awesome... The best being a Rune Platebody (h3).

My next task was a ton of Aberrant Spectres. I headed up to the Slayer Tower and started the task.
I was only a few kills in when I got a Rune Full Helm as a drop. I remembered using those all the time... Way back when I way free-to-play. I picked it up and put it on for a split second. I took some damage right away from the Aberrant Spectre. I was so used to always wearing my Slayer Helm that I had forgotten that you needed a Nose Peg for them! I put my Slayer Helm on right away. It seemed that the game thought I still wasn't wearing my Slayer Helm though...
I wasn't taking damage, but I couldn't hit at all! And when I hit a maximum of 90, I knew something was wrong. I tried everything, from logging in again, disassembling the Slayer Helm, using a Nose Peg, everything I could think of. Nothing seemed to work. I was about to submit a bug report when a player in my clan asked me if I had had my stats drained by the Aberrant Spectres. I looked at my stats, and sure enough, my Attack level was at 11, My Strength level was at 9, and my Defence level was at 37. That would explain a lot...
I didn't have a Super Restore with me, so I left and restored my stats. All of a sudden, I felt like doing a quest! I decided to do the first one on the list, which happened to be Rag and Bone Man. I started that off, and logged out when I arrived at Karamja for my Monkey Paw.
Thanks for reading, and see you later!
