But on the other hand, herbs would be worth about 50k each, and almost no one would be fighting bosses. So I guess variation is a good thing.
I was already getting a little tired from camping at the Dwarves, so I decided to take a little break. What to do, what to do... I decided to do a little fishing. I really wanted 80 Fishing for Stealing Creation, and I was only 8 levels away. I teleported to the Grand Exchange and sold my drops. I was only 40k off of 4m gp! I withdrew my Fly Fishing Rod, feathers, 40 coins and an Ardougne teleport.
I teleported to Ardougne, and ran to the docks, where I payed 30 coins and landed on Brimhaven's tropical beaches. I ran south to Hajedy, who took me to Shilo Village. I ran to the river, dressed in my skilling outfit, which consisted of the trusty Octopus, Spottier Cape and Dramen Staff. I finally found a Fishing spot, and the training commenced.
When I train Fishing, or any other 'afk' skill for that matter, whether it be Mining or Woodcutting, I usually either play Flash Games or browse YouTube. Today, I was watching a NightmareRH video. He's a pretty funny guy, for those of you who have never watched one of his videos; he's extremely dramatic/enthusiastic.
The time flew by, and I completed a few loads. I just wasn't really into Fishing. I teleported back to Varrock and ran to the Grand Exchange, thinking about trying to merch an item. I'm not a good mercher, I'll tell you that.
I searched through items and racked my brain, trying to think of an item that would be good to flip. I sold aall my Slamon and Trout that I had stockpiled, and reached the 4m gp mark! I tested out a few items, and finally, I found an item that I think should merch fairly well. Now don't go asking or posting or PMing me about what it is; I won't tell you.
And that was basically all I did for today! Maybe tomorrow I will feel like campng again. I sure hope so!
Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Heya guys!
I logged on today and what do you know? My flipped items had sold! I had only profited about 70k, but hey: That's 70k I didn't have to do anything for!
Well I was stumped. Not sure what to do... I sometimes get into ruts like this. Here's a basic look on how I play Runescape: I really start liking a skill, so I grind it into the dust. Then, I start losing interest in the skill, so I stop training it. Then I'm in a rut for a little while, unsure of what to do. Then I start really liking a skill again, and the cycle continues.
The stages in this cycle are enormous though. In fact, I think I've only been into the 'really into a skill' stage a few times. These skills were Fletching, Mining and Runecrafting. Well it seemed I was in a rut again. I didn't really feel like doing anything... I PMed 0DarkKnight. Maybe he wanted to race to a skill level goal with me!
We started debating on what skill we would race on. I wasn't planning on racing to level 99 of course; I don't possess the necessary determintaion to just go for a 99. I compared his skills to mine. Just about the only level that was close was Firemaking, and he was two levels ahead of me. We decided on Firemaking. He was at 68, and I was at 66, so we decided to race to level 80.
I worked out how many Maple Logs I would need; about 10,780. That would cost me... around 500k. I bought the logs, and the Firemaking commenced!
I was really getting into it! The experience was ridiculously fast; 135xp per log! Within an hour, I had caught up to 0DarkKnight! He had to go, so I had some time to get ahead of him! The experience came flying in. I was training at the strip of street north of Varrock's Eastern Bank. So while I was Firemaking, I would report the tons of Pure Essence-Mining bots that would run by. I even watched some level 67 player follow Max around, trying to talk to him!
At one point, a player came along and tried to steal my street! Well I wasn't going to let that happen!

I used every crazy Firemaking trick up my sleeve. I cut into his path, lighting fires just ahead of him, forcing him to move. Eventually, my Firemaking territorial battle proved to be worth it! He ran off to the west, presumably to the Grand Exchange.
I gained loads of experience. In fact, it brought back memories from my days of Fletching. Back then, I was gaining crazy amounts of experience! But that was my first ever level to 80, so I thought that getting that amount of experience was crazy slow. I hadn't gotten 84 Runecrafting at that time... Nor would I ever dream it would happen!
I gained level 70 Firemaking. Phew! That was 4 levels in one day! But I wasn't done yet! I continued to light fires.
I had quite the long converstaion with skullgunner1. He was a pretty nice guy, and we chatted about all sorts of things, from Jagex Moderators to how to get money.
I gained 71 Firemaking, and 0DarkKnight logged back on. Not trying to sound to arrogant here... but I'm fairly confident that I will win the race
Then again, I rarely get a chance to play on Thursdays, so he may catch up!
I got level 72 Firemaking! This was crazy! Six levels in one day! At this rate, I should have 80 Firemaking in only a few days! I have this odd little goal: Get every skill to level 80 or higher. I'm not really sure why I set this goal. Part of it is to do with the Stealing Creation; the other part is to do with the fact that a total level of 2000 is equivalent to all skills at 80.
Ding ding! My item that I was flipping had just bought! I rushed over to the Grand Exchange and made my flip. I really hope that I can start making a fortune!
Well, that's all for today!
Good night!

Hey everyone!
I logged on today and was ready for some Firemaking! Unfotunately, the world I was in already had someone lighting fires at my usual place, above the East Varrock Bank. I switched worlds, and there was someone there as well! I switched again, and no surprise, that one had someone too. I had been having a broken conversation with Fire Typhoon every time I logged onto a world, and he gave me tip to try lighting fires north of the Edgeville Bank. I ran over there, and sure enough, it was free! I started Firemaking right away!
It was pretty serene... I got to have a nice long conversation with Fire Typhoon, something I haven't been able to do for a long time. Oh, we talked about all sorts of things, from different races to speaking French to body building! Did you know that I can do 70 push ups?
At one point, a random player came along and started lighting fires ahead of me, blocking my path. I retaliated, and the war had begun! The worst part was, neither of us spoke a single word the entire time. A silent battle of wits and determination. Apparently he possessed some determintaion I didn't have; I logged off after only a few inventories.
I went to a new world, and started lighting my fires. I was PMed by loads of people, and I can't name them all. It did keep me entertained and distracted (might be a bad thing) from lighting fires. Finally, I got 73 Firemaking! I lit more, and I eventually logged off to go for dinner.
I came back on, and lit more and more. A player walked by and planted a flower smack dab in the middle of my path. I guess he thought I was a bot or something; I never spoke a word. I simply walked beneath it and started anew. After some time, I got level 74 Firemaking! I continued, and I only had about 30,000xp to go until level 75 when Paartyhats (formerly skullgunner1) joined my Friend's Chat and asked when an event would take place. Well now seemed like a good time... For Fight Pits!

I rounded up some people, and after we all had gathered our items, I headed down to the Fight Pits. At first, it was just safire sara and I. We waited outside the Waiting Room for more people to filter in. PaartyHats came, dressed in Ancient Magicks gear, as did 0DarkKnight, dressed in Dragon Halberd and Dragon Platebody. We entered a match.
I immediately went for PaartyHats. He was using Ice Burst, and the constant freezing power was annoying beyond belief! Worst of all, it was hitting through my Protect from Magic prayer every time! I ran after him, scoring a hit or two every once and a while, while he constantly froze and hit me. I gave up on him, and ran to safire sara. She had killed 0DarkKnight, and we both decided to team up against PaartyHats. He survived much longer than I expected. He was very good at freezing us, and it would take a whle for us to even get near him, let alone hit the player!
Eventually though, he did fall, and it was just safire sara and Grimwold2 left. It was a tough fight, despite her being level 98 and I being 105. We were both praying against Melee, so hits were few and faw between. I brought out my Saradomin Sword, hoping for better luck. And what do you know? It worked! I started hitting more often, and at one point, I hit three times in succession, all 200's. She died.
A new match would begin! Many, actually. Magical Zing came in and joined us, and we fought quite a few battles. Every time, I would go after PaartyHats first, then safire sara. A few times, either safire sara or PaartyHats would kill me!
After a while, a level 137 player came by. He entered a match with us, and it was a pretty unanimous plan: We were going to pile him. I knew from the beginning that we held little hope. I was the highest combat level, at level 105, and he was a whole 30 levels than that. safire sara held him off while I killed his Unicorn, then we started attacking him together. Unfortuntely, PaartyHats was the 137's first victim.

The level 137 also killed Magical Zing and 0DarkKnight! safire sara followed, then it was just me. I didn't stand much of a chance. He was using a Chaotic Rapier, and he was easily hitting through my prayer. I died fairly quickly.
He left, and we enjoyed a few more rounds by ourselves. safire sara wanted to try and test ouot her maximum hit on me with her borrowed Armadyl Godsword. I took off all my armour, and she went for it! Zero. We tried a second time. Zero. A third time. Zero. A fourth time. 138! A fifth time. Zero. I think I lost a little respect for the Armadyl Godsword becuase of this day. After one round, I came back to the Waiting Room, only to find four new people!
I went off to restock, but while I was gone, a new round had started. PaartyHats had left, as had 0DarkKnight, so it was only Magical Zing and safire sara from my Friend's Chat left in there. Apparently, safire sara had died in four seconds due to a Dragon Claw Special Attack, and Magical Zing had followed. I came to the Waiting Room, where we made plans to kill the player with the Santa Hat. A few other players whom I didn't know joined in our plan. The match begun.
The player with the Santa Hat didn't have Dragon Claws in fact; that was a player wearing a Fire Cape. The player wearing a Santa Hat was using Ice Barrage, and I think was friends with the player using Dragon Claws. I ran to the opposite side of the cavern, not wanting to get jumped on. I waited there, and saw the 'Foes Remaining' counter dwindle.
At two, the Ice Barrager and Dragon Claw user came after me. I could pretty much see my doom. I attacked the Dragon Claw user, while the Ice Barrager started Barraging us. Now I actually impressed myself here. I was actually managing to switch my protection prayers from melee to magic right at the exact moment, so that I was negating damage from both parties. The funniest part was, the Dragon Claw user was getting hit from the Ice Barrage, and I wasn't!

I turned on the Ice Barrager, still switching my prayers to perfection. I scored a few hits on him, but he started to run away, freezing me in the process. I turned bck to the Dragon Claw user and hit a 150. He was almost dead! I hit him again, this time only an 80. He died! Only one more player to go! I chased after him, surprising my self with the constant hits. Unfortunately, the Ice Barrager had food, and he ate while he froze me in place. I was running out of Prayer Points, but the Ice Barrager had so little health! I ran at him, hoping for a hit. I missed, and he froze me again, while he ran off and attacked me more. I ate the remnants of my food and charged him. I hit him high, but he still had lifepoints remaining. He froze me again, for the millionth time, and hit me a 290, a fatal blow.
I lasted for far longer than I would in the 2 vs 1, and I have to say: I'm quite proud of how I did. The Dragon Claw User was a level 133!
I was done Fight Pits for today. I teleported to Edgeville, where I started lighting fires again. Only 30,000xp to go! I was getting 3,645xp per inventory, so after no time at all, I gaineed the level. 75 Firemaking! I'm only 5 levels away from winning the contest, but 0DarkKnight is at level 74... It may be a close race!
Well that was all for today! Thanks for reading!
Good night!

Hey everyone!
The Firemaking continued! I was actually expecting to get around level 78-80 today, but I forgot that I had a wedding to go to... for eight hours.
I started out in Edgeville, switching worlds multiple times to find a suitable world to light fires. After my third switch, I found one. I started lighting my fires. I actually like training Firemaking. The experience is pretty fast, and you don't have to just sit there and wait for experience to roll in. That's basically the whole reason why I don't like training Fishing. But if that's the case... Why do I have level 93 Mining? I guess it's a mystery!
I was randomly spirited away by a Frog Herald to 'The Land of Frogs', where I had to kiss the Frog Princess. I remembe the very first time I had this event. Nothing interesting had happened in particular, but it had been my last Random Event music track to unlock. I completed the task and was returned to Runescape. I usually choose the experience lamp for my reward, and use it on my lowest skill. This time, however, I decided to go with the Costume Point. I aactually don't own a single costume! I don't really see the point in them, but every now and then, I choose the costume option.
I continued lighting fires, until a level 97 player came by and started lighting fires ahead of me. Oh, it was on. This was probably the dirtiest Firemkaing War I've ever had. Again, this war was completely silent. We crossed over each other's paths, lighting fires just a few squares ahead of each other. The battle raged on for a good fifteen minutes. Eventually, I gave in. I wanted to pack in as much experience as I could before I had to go to the wedding.
I hopped worlds a few more times. They all had people lighting fires there. I finally decided to go to the Grand Exchange, my last resort.
It was actually not as bad as I originally thought it would be. There was someone else there, but the area was massive.

I lit tons of fires. Eventually, I got level 76 Firemaking! I lit more and more and more... Well, you get the idea. I started out with 10,780 Maple Logs, and I only have around 3,800 left!
I was in the middle of a row of fires when a player came up behind me and started to follow me. He started with 'Dude'. I thought he was trying to see if I was a bot or something! I replied with a friendly 'Mhm?'. His name was Brainnuggets, and he told me that he really loved my blog. This is a milestone for this blog. I think this is the first time that I have been recognized by someone I didn't know. And you know what? It felt kind of cool
I thanked him, and we talked for a bit, him following me while I lit my fires. At one point, he asked me how many logs I had left. At that point, I had about 4,200. He offered to give me more! Well I certainly didn't need any more, so I declined his trade offer. We talked for a little while longer, and then he ran off. Nice guy, the Brainnuggets, nice guy.
I made more fires! Man, I have made so many fires it's ridiculous! I'll be happy once I reach level 80, that's for sure! After a long time, I finally reached level 77 Firemaking. Only three more levels to go!
Well that was all for today! Time to go to that wedding for eight hours
Have a nice day!

Hey everyone!
I logged on today, ready for some more Firemaking. But as soon as I logged on, 0DarkKnight PMed me. He was forfeiting from the race to level 80 Firemaking! Well that sucked. That meant that I had no reason to reach my goal, save sheer willpower. I don't blame him for dropping out though... I was winning
I had only made a few fires when NinjaBigf00t asked me to go to the God Wars Dungeon with him and his friends. They were going to the Zamorak Boss, and because I no longer had an opponent to race to level 80, I thought why not.
They were going to leave in 20 minutes, so I started lighting some more fires. Five minutes later, I decided to go get the 40 killcount. I'm usually the slowest one to get it, so I needed a headstart
This time, I could teleport to Trollheim! Let me tell you, that teleport is so much more convenient than running from Burthorpe! I was just about to enter the dungeon when NinjaBigf00t told me that they had just moved it to an hour away. Sigh... I teleported to Falador. And of course, the instant I teleported, he told me that he had made a mistake, and that they actually WERE going to leave in 15 minutes. Another great big sigh...
I teleported there again, and ran to the Zamorak Fortress. I started the Imp Massacre! While I waited for them to spawn, I would kill the occasional Werewolf. Finally, I got to a 40 killcount. I exited to the lobby and waited for everyone else to get theirs.
A long time passed. I chatted while in the lobby, and after a long time, we were finally able to log back on, this time onto a CoinShare world. We entered the Boss room.
It was pretty standard Boss killing. NinjaBigf00t was tanking, and everyone else would hide in the corner until the tank could start taking the damage. My Spirit Terrorbird was about to disappear!
