(( Hi Azi! That's fine! Go ahead and respond to the recent story as Two-Two if you want to. And you can bring the barbarians in to attack Falador whenever you want!! ))

Aranel watched the young girl closely, curious as to why she was in Falador and focused on the notebook. She noticed her writing in it constantly and noted that she did not write anything when Aranel spoke of the suspected Barbarian attack. She waited on Aureus' and Two-Two's responses to the questions she presented them with.

As isn’t uncommon, Two-two ends up rather out of the scene. With a mumble here and a nod there, she would end up training with knights.
Father was like a knight...

Well, the three went out the castle. Amidst the walking and talking, a girl seems to behave strangely.

“Hmph?” Two-two asks, mouth full of muffin from a baker’s stall. Her great helm tilts back to allow her to eat. She looks around, great helm tilting side to side as her head moves, and she continues packing muffins in her maw. Her eyes soon find the girl. Two-two swallows. “It’s just a little girl.” She continues eating muffins.

Aranel watched as Two-Two ate the muffins and continued to grab more. She noticed the baker starting to get annoyed and reached into her pocket, pulling out a stack of gold coins. She laid them down on the merchants stand and the baker calmed down and even beamed. Aranel gave far more than the muffins were worth. Aranel continued to watch the girl and waited while Aureus considered her question.

"Two-Two, are you okay being sadled with the temple knights? Would you rather do something else? Can you fight?"
She herself grabbed a blueberry muffin as she began to feel hungry. She unwrapped it and took a bite, careful to keep her face cloth from uncovering her face. She broke off a piece and dropped it on the ground for Rover. He came over and ate it up quickly. He looked up at Aranel and Two-Two begging for more scraps. The dog obviously had been neglected and unloved before he came across Aranel just that morning.

Aranel watched Two-Two continue to eat, but kept her eyes on the girl.
Something isn't right here.
"Can you help us fight if the Barbarians attack soon?"

(( np, ty! ))

Aranel came to Two-two’s rescue and paid for the muffins.

“Hm? Oh, yeah, I did join the White Knights. Not that I’ll actually stay with them, ha! I’m like Father, I never do what I’m told. Hee hee!” She pauses and finishes her next muffin. “Oh, I can fight... My Father knew of secret fighting moves and stances!” Two-two notices Rover staring up at her, so Two-two drops her last muffin overhead the dog.

“Wait...do you hear that?” the baker asks, looking afraid and confused...

A Viking’s Wrath
Theme song: (( play this for this intro to make more sense ))
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSqXls3XeyI

The clamouring of death and struggle echoes from the horizon. The attack has already began; the guards outside the city walls...

“Warriors! Keep MOVING!” A menacing chant echoes from outside the city walls, bellowing from the throats of battle-starving warriors. The marching of mighty men shake the earth itself, and a guttural voice supplements the barbarians’ bloodlust.

“Warriors! HALT!”

Repeating, heavy pounding shakes the ground and city. They are ramming the gate. These are no simple-minded barbarians pointlessly charging a city. This is a co-ordinated siege, an attempt to assault and breach the city and castle, and take Falador completely. There may be some time before the battering ram destroys the gate...

Aranel smiled under her face cloth as Two-Two dropped some food for Rover. She nodded as Two-Two commented that she would be able to fight if need be. Aranel began to speak but heard some far off fighting. She didn't even hear when the baker spoke and was already reaching behind her for her bow. She pulled it off and her back and the crystal sparkled in the sunlight. She held her bow aloft, listening closely.
"Looks like your going to get your chance to prove that Two-Two."
She looked back at Aureus.
"No time to answer that. If you can't fight, Hide. I don't want to have to be worrying about anyone."
Rover ran underneath the stall of the baker just as the battering ram hit the gate.

White knights flooded into the courtyard as the ram hit again. The Gate shook against the onslaught, but stood strong.
"HOW LONG CAN THAT GATE HOLD!?"
Aranel screamed over the noise of the screaming civilians and the sounds of fighting outside the walls. One of the Knights heard her call and screamed back
"It can hold for a bit but not long, not against a ram!"
Aranel shook her head and rolled her shoulders back. Something changed in her eyes and she prepared for attack. She looked quite at home with the bow in her hands and she shined with an energy field as her magic began to spread away from her body, creating a force field around her. Smoke could be seen rising up into the sky beyond the white stone walls of the city.

The gate shook again and this time began to crack. Aranel breezed into the center of the city and she stood tall with an aura of command. The white knights stared at her in confusion and respect as she instinctively began to take command.
"Get ready!"
Aranel raised her arm and touched the bow string. Her magic flowed into the bow and it began to glow. As she pulled back on the string a ball of glowing energy began to form... (Cont.)

and it shaped itself into an arrow. She aimed perfectly at the gate and closed her eyes breathing softly. The ram hit again and the gates broke open, allowing the city to flood with barbarians. She opened her eyes and let her breath out just as the gate broke. She let go of the bow string and her arrow flew out and hit its intended target right in the heart of the barbarian killing him instantly.

The white knights let out a roar as they rushed forward. Metal could be heard clashing against each other as the battle ensued. She quickly began to draw arrows and fired them off, killing as many barbarians as she could. She kept her gaze moving, trying to kill any barbarians going after the still fleeing citizens. She wasn't as concerned with holding off the attack as she was keeping the citizens safe.

Aranel looked around but could not find the young girl who was writing in her book. She couldn't keep looking and turned her attention back to killing the invading barbarians.

Annie was shocked with the noise of the front gate. She didn’t know what to do about if she should fight or not. She knew she had to make a choice very soon. She knew if she fight with Falador she would earn their trust. She decided she was going to help them. She put her notebook in her backpack and drew her bow ready to fight.

Then she started to shoot arrows at the barbarians and killing some of them in front of her. After that she drew her dagger and she swung her dagger in many ways and kill the enemies. One of them was able to stab her in the hip but was able to kill it. She started to feel a strange energy started going inside her.

Aranel finally saw the young girl who was eavesdropping earlier and began to slowly move towards her.
"Are you able to hold your own?"
Aranel had to shout over the sounds of battle, the screaming, the metal clanging, and the sound of death. Aranel kept her hand moving as she flawlessly pulled the bowstring and fired off her arrows. Each one hitting its mark as she defended the people of the city.

The Barbarians began to march in with more and more coming through the gates. White Knights flooded out of the keep in turn, helping push them back, though it seemed this time there was plan and it wasn't a random attack.

Annie kept fighting even though she was wounded on the hip and other wounds on her body. She was able to kill more of the enimeies with her dagger, swinging it as fast as an elf. In the corner of her eye she saw a young lady slowly coming toward her and heard her ask her a question. She repiled,"
yes I can. I know how to fight. Thank you."
The strange energy kept growing and growing inside her like it might come out of her very soon. It also scared her a lot.

Two-two nods at Riniya’s comment. “You stay safe,” Two-two whispers to Rover as he runs under the stall.

Citizens flee in panic while White Knights head into the courtyard. The ramming rumbles over and over.

Two-two drops her helm onto her shoulders and unsheathes her longsword. Smoke rises over the chanting and ramming. The gate will not last much longer.

While Aranel readies her magical bow, Two-two stands amongst the White Knights and prepares for the inevitable charge. The gates smash apart and barbarians rush, clashing with White Knights and city guards. The one leading the charge is a large man with a sword and shield, crested helm, and mail and leather armour, looking like:

He leaps into the fray, sword high, slamming it down upon a knight’s helm and dazing him. The large man uppercuts the rim of his shield into the knight, hurling him off his feet. Two knights attack him at either side; he extends his shield out to block one knight, and raises his sword to parry the other. Fellow barbarians support the large man and they engage in melee.

“Where is the leader of this castle!?” the large man bellows, punching his shield and slamming his sword into knights’ helms and knocking them down all around. “A leader who does not lead the charge, is no leader at all! I am Warlord Haraldur, and I’ll show you a real leader!” He chops his sword into a city guard’s shield, then punches him in the face with the shield, knocking him out.

Aranel and Annie make use of their bows. One of Aranel’s arrows whizzes forth but hits the warlord’s shield. The young girl sustains an injury. More White Knights and barbarians arrive for fighting. Two-two stands her ground. Barbarians charge wildeyed.

Two-two steps forth and swings her blade low, “Hyyahh!” cutting across several legs of multiple barbarians as they raise their weapons, stifling them for the White Knights to finish off. She skips back to allow a few White Knights to engage in her spot.
