Also West, that statement is grammatically incorrect. "The same place they weren't at a couple hours ago - here" actually means: "They weren't here a couple of hours ago, but they are now."

But they weren't there, so your correction is inadequate and misses the point. If I were to go back and fix the sentence, the best fix would have probably been something simple like "Not Here" or "no".
