Roleplaying and cosplaying is not limited to males. There are quite a few females in the world that play video games, role play, and cosplay.

Or are you jumping to the immediate assumption that a female rp'r/cosplayer is more likely to be in a relationship than a male rp'r/cosplayer?

Any time someone uses the word gender attached to a word, I know they're Tumblrkin, or just a white knight. Self-possession, narcissism, a rabid infatuation with their own opinions, and no sense of humor are just secondary indicators.

I sort of forgot that we're not allowed to make jokes on the Internet anymore.

My boyfriend always tells me "Why do you Roleplay?" because he thinks that I should be spending more time and attention to him. That is the only thing that he criticizes me on. My point is that Roleplaying is generally considered 'nerdy' by those uninitiated into our ways. These people have no idea what they are missing out on. When my boyfriend says "why?" I say "Why not?" people are too judgmental. Don't knock it till you try it!

That's pretty much exactly what I was referring to. RPing is seen as 'nerdy' to the general populace. Plus, some of the threads I've had on here were pretty awful and/or off-the-wall, so people would look at me funny if they knew some of the stuff I've come up with for my threads.

Well then, Guns, if your previous post was making a mockery of me, well, it's pretty true! I tend to be self-centred, and put creative writing (that is, creative typing) above many other aspects of my life. This is especially true when I'm working on my long-term stories/projects. When I am working on a full-length story, friends, girlfriends, money, other people, popularity, my job; all these don't matter and I'm not actively thinking about them. Funny, in that I have disconnected myself from reality for the sake of fantasy. Oh, the irony!

Anyways, I am basically a noob in RPing, but I am enjoying it despite my few big mistakes, especially when I started a few months ago. At least I learned something new, and have participated in this and that, so that shows my activity.
