I wasn't making a mockery of you, man, I was just adding some more points to the ones you already made about what RPing does to a person. I normally don't mock anyone unless they've angered me. Pretty much everything I say is a joke. Life's too short to hold back a laugh.
Anyhow, when I was working on my first novel, I basically lived by night and slept by day. My social life went down the drain and my then-girlfriend wondered why she never heard anything outta me. The very same thing happened when I started RPing. Like many, I got sucked into the realm of fantasy and fiction and didn't see much point in reality.
Now, I've sort of learned, reality is stranger than fiction, most of the time. Fiction often makes more sense, anyhow.
You seem to be doing pretty well in all of the threads you've joined, and I'd say you're a pretty good writer. Maybe one of these days I'll decide to come out of retirement and join something, and actually RP with everybody. My job might make it difficult, for a while, though.
