Day 3 of corona virus self-isolation. I haven't talked to anyone in about 2 years. XD XD XD oh my, damn West, your humour is simple but perfect!
Like Inferi, this quarantine hasn't affected my life much, either. But I still gotta work as a security guard, guarding an empty work camp. I don't understand why my company wants to watch their empty work camp two hours down a logging road, literally in the middle of nowhere, but I'll take the job and money!
Hello Bahamand, it’s very rare to see new people around, especially when they make their very first post here. Collaboration and Vampyro Naktis are two active roleplays, though progress is very slow for both thus far.
Rain,
“My dad was Catholic, and I didn't necessarily come out to him as I forced myself out after sexting this cutie boy over the phone, but sent the text to my dad by accident. XD” XD ouch, that must have been embarrassing!
But yes, American Christians--especially Baptist Christians--can be wildly homophobic and transphobic. I do not blame Americans for feeling the way you do, Rain. I have not suffered it myself, but I’ve never felt part of society and always been unpopular, so I can somewhat partly relate. And yes, a portion are so self-righteous and smug that they think their bullying is untouchable. Such attitudes can also be found amongst Muslims and Hindus, and even in atheist communities.
On the bright side, the people who change the world are those accustomed to adversity.
Curse those Dark Vader identity revealers!
Gunslinger,
I am glad your family’s doing alright, and that you have a sharp view of politics and the virus. COVID is dangerous mostly for the old and young, but the sensationalism of it isn’t good, either. It is a bad flu that mutates and spreads rapidly, definitely not something to underestimate as viruses are more likely to mutate the more people they infect.
Delta,
Well, derp makes less sense than dork, imo
