Like Inferi, this quarantine hasn't affected my life much, either. But I still gotta work as a security guard, guarding an empty work camp. But yes, American Christians--especially Baptist Christians--can be wildly homophobic and transphobic. I do not blame Americans for feeling the way you do, Rain. I have not suffered it myself, but I’ve never felt part of society and always been unpopular, so I can somewhat partly relate. And yes, a portion are so self-righteous and smug that they think their bullying is untouchable. Such attitudes can also be found amongst Muslims and Hindus, and even in atheist communities.

On the bright side, the people who change the world are those accustomed to adversity.

I am glad your family’s doing alright, and that you have a sharp view of politics and the virus. COVID is dangerous mostly for the old and young, but the sensationalism of it isn’t good, either. It is a bad flu that mutates and spreads rapidly, definitely not something to underestimate as viruses are more likely to mutate the more people they infect.

Now that I am back home from Houston BC, after a measly four days of security work, I must prepare for my court juror summons for tomorrow morning. I do not know what to expect. Depending on how long it lasts, I may be unable to post for Omega for a while.


Well, I went to the courthouse today but it was locked. When I came home, I phoned the sheriff and it was confirmed everything's cancelled. So I left work and drove three and a half hours for nothing -.- but oh well. I emailed my supervisor explaining what happened, so I should be back to work soon. I am still quite tired from lack of sleep and lots of driving, but I should be able to post in Omega within the next few days.

Work plans changed again--I'll be heading back to work on April 7th to check in the motel, then begin actual work April 8th. Or so this is it is so far, things change all the time with the company I work XD still, once I rest well enough, I'll post in Omega within a couple days.
