Oops...so, I apparently forgot to say it outright (and I'll edit it in shortly) but the Dreamer, the guy inside the sarcophagus, is asleep, or at least appears to be.

So, yeah, in case that was interpreted wrong, there's a clarification. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

It's more like: if a being has human level intelligence, awareness, communication, emotion, etc. then it is usually considered extremely taboo for another sentient intelligent race to eat them. Even if it isn't technically considered cannibalism, it's pretty much on the same level in most cultures, including the Drakonians. I had no idea.
