You're right Ancient, some people can't handle criticism, but the odd thing is, when I commented of these stories, I wasn't criticizing, I was only commenting while I read the material. I was not saying anything being bad or good; my style of reviewing is basically commenting as I read whilst offering suggestions. Obviously, it's not always taken well, but that's just life. Not that I am the most considerate person in the world, especially when in a bad mood. Speaking of which, Mod Jack has a thread with a link leading to a Christian figure, which is
offensive
to Christians! Hopefully, Annie won't report Mod Jack. Also, people who post non-fiction here get reported/banned, whereas if a Mod does so, nothing happens, or maybe Mod Jack did post a fictional story?
About hybridization,
This was always a curious topic. Dwarfs, elves, fairies, pixies, gnomes, leprechauns, and whatever else have you, are all basically ephemeral humans, so biologically they should be capable of breeding offspring. If you look at some fantasy works that involve Dark Elves, what if you have a cross with a human and a Dark Elf? Would that make something in-between? They need to have a fantasy game where you get to pick your parents, allowing hybridization.
About werewolves and vampires,
During the Middle Ages, folklore often mentioned vampires being capable of transforming into wolves. Oddly enough, vampires and werewolves are potentially quite similar, save that lycanthropy is a curse, whereas vampirism occurs in a person after death.
