Hm, I feel kinda bad for not being able to add to the discussion. I also couldn't get into the Dragon Age franchise, and I'm not into games as much as I used to be. In fact, about ninety percent of my gaming suddenly evaporated, basically. Now, I spend most of my spare time working on literary projects. However, I do play a bit of Dark Souls 3, Dark Souls Remastered, and For Honor.

The gaming industry isn't in the best place right now. All the major companies keep pumping out these open world RPGs, with a lot of stuff to do but very little of it is actually fun or detailed, and the story comes across as half-hearted. It's something to kill time but it's nothing memorable.

And if you want something else, the next main alternative would be the indie games, which are a serious mess in their own right, and there's very little middle ground. There are some exceptions of course, but those are hard to find.

As long as the Legend of Heroes continues to get made and translated, the rest of the industry can stay where it is and I wouldn't care nearly as much.

Seriously, if anyone's looking for a fantastic JRPG series, go play Trails in the Sky. It's one of the best I've ever played.

Super Mario is overrated and Tetris is overplayed.
But what about Super Mario 64? I still have that game. Speaking of which, I must gradually complete my Nintendo 64 game collection soon, still need Mischief Makers, which I think is based off an anime. It may help me understand anime-things better. After that, I'd like to start on GameCube games.

I think it's kinda ironic that, now that I'm approaching twenty-seven years old, I have a sudden urge to go back into my childhood. Been having lots of dreams of Legend of Zelda lately, for whatever reason, though it was fun exploring new worlds.

Personally, I think Total War games are still good. I don't think my computer can handle Total War Warhammer 2, but maybe, when I get richer, I'll be able to get a good gaming computer that can handle it.
