Sounds like you're part of a political group that needs to pick their battles.
Personally, I think the state of the world is a necessary evil – lest we have more “rogue hermit” states to deal with. Everyone wants what is best for themselves, regardless on who they step on... and that’s okay – it’s what allows us to advance as a species.

Several "scientists" on youtube have tried to explain biotics - from the reviews I've seen, Eezo is used really well in the context of the series - though that's more to do with Dark Energy rather than Plasma, isn't it?

Indeed, people are generally good. Most people are more good than bad, but people are capable of both for sure.
Any more suggestions or comments about a fighter-based RP? I'd totally join one. However, if no one has the time, well, I guess I could make it. Though, I am a noob in this topic, so if I do make the RP, it would be one that may have frequent changes to gradually explore what works best.
