... Which leads me to think George is right to say we shouldn't have godlike powers. O_o

Ha! Funny point, West, indeed, we sure don't need such powers.
I posted for Wake Up. Took the liberty to make this turn a bit longer, to speed things up, get more users towards the same goal. No matter what happens, all users in the facility will end up together, as the next phase, the one after the mainframe scene, will transition to a more exciting moment!

ADVs is an abbreviation for advanced soldier. More info can be found on page 3 or 4, I think, but it's basically a soldier with hi-tech armour. In was implied that the ADVs guarding the facility are former soldiers.

It is implied the five LOKI Mechs in the mainframe area targeted Ryder and the Geth Hoppers first. The Geth Hoppers are the cyber-frog robots, like the one you've already seen earlier.
