I think the problem is that with a character like that, there is very little that you can't do, unless you face someone whose own power is deliberately built around countering your own.

As a character flaw, a superiority complex is all well and good. But when that superiority complex is based upon truth (that power is one of the strongest), then its severity as a flaw is greatly diminished.

George, would a Soul Link type of character work? Basically, someone that has no real ability to fight for themselves, but can go incorporeal, linking their soul with other people and giving those people a buff. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Basically, this is the sort of idea I'm currently trying to play around with. I'm trying to create an ability that can link and manipulate senses, experiences and strong feelings between linked characters.

Y'know, this reminds me a lot of my "fusion" idea I had a few years back. People ended up knocking it because it essentially meant my character wouldn't actually do anything in fights.

Assuming you're alright with rolling with that sort of character, then that should be fine. It's an incentive to partner up with another super, if nothing else.

West... I don't know. If you can figure it out, cool, the senses linking thing is just weird to me. Not a power I'd ever use. I am Inferi.

Yeah, I wanted to be a little different with the Power, merging it with the costume, and it also simplifies things!

Good points, I will make edits soon. I didn’t realize you had an “amateur superhero” theme. I will also edit the Power how it reverts.
Edit: OK, I edited my bio. Computerized feature removed, replaced with infrared vision, to be the reason why Ishida 33's menpo glows red.



As for superhero powers, well, all of this extra discussion and topics are a bit too much for me.



West, I said earlier I would post tomorrow even without Ryder’s intro, but if you are busy, I can still postpone the next turn for Wake Up later in the weekend. After all, with a new RP out, users need a little more time anyways.

Yeah, that's the general idea. If I can't just have some stupid power (which I shouldn't) I like being a support. It's kinda fun being the person who has to rely on everyone else, but can make everyone else better just by being there. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Well, that post was surely of crap quality - and I'm *fairly* sure Azi didn't mean for me to introduce an actual bullet train into the story... let alone have it crash somewhere in the underground facility. But, at the very least, it all came out in one burst.
