So I'm going back through the thread to look for a description of this Great Mother I'm supposed to fight, but I keep having to stop and read the Soahc banter. I don't know if my sense of humor has changed, but somehow it's funnier the second time reading than it was the first time.

Original message details are unavailable.
Surrounding the bonfire was the full force of Myrkviðr. There were some twenty hags, unmistakable with their hunched backs, their ancient and writhed faces, their twisted gaits and horrific screeching, as together they performed the ritual to summon the Hagfather. Presiding over the incantation was the most old and withered of them all, stood upon a throne made of skulls, wrapped up in shawl and robes of darkest black, a great hooked nose that crept down to meet her protruding chin, eye-bags upon eye-bags leading up to eyes so sunken that they could hardly be said to be present at all, save for the yellow glow at the end of that tunnel of loose skin, eyes that had seen kingdoms rise and fall, eyes that had seen the enslavement of hundreds, the death of thousands.

So, Angel, what are your thoughts on my new character?
I like it! The ring has an unusual use, (one that I'm not sure I can force other RPers to comply with, mind you,) but I hope that it will become a practical tool for what happens in future. I assume you're hoping to join the Hag Coven questline with Gary?

Well in either case, I'm glad! Soahc as a character has to be quite railroaded this thread, (something that he himself has complained about- needing to keep on track so that he can cause chaos on a mass scale at the end of it,) so really dialogue is the only freedom I have to express his unhinged thoughts.

Yeah, that's why I said it doesn't always work.
Keep in mind all it really does it notify Gareth that they're lying. It doesn't actually reveal the truth, and it can be hard to determine how much of what they are saying is a lie because he only really has the ring's vibration to go on.

Yes. Should I introduce him in the next round of posting or wait until a point where things have settled down?

By the way, does anyone remember the Arenar cousins I RPed as in Er Rill's threads? Gareth is related to them. If I recall correctly, there was a mercenary, an assassin, a pirate, and a bandit.
