I just realized something about Annie. When I was stuck in Cache Creek a while ago, I watched a little of Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back, the Battle of Hoth, before going to go to the workshop to pick up the car. I watched a few clips of Walt Disney movies after I got home. I just realized that Annie's style of role-playing is comparable to the old Star Wars films, as well as old Walt Disney cartoons. It's actually quite cute to imagine, you just imagine Annie as if a character from an old cartoon.

Speaking of which, of all a sudden, I want to relive my childhood XD

Yes, they are quite similar, though I have yet to figure out why or how.

I can't RP tonight, I spent quite a lot of time arguing with my best friend. In fact, after two days, we went through around seventy pages, and we basically ended up concluding we were both wrong. She found out she was doing something wrong and admitted it, and I realized I was doing the same mistake, so it seems we have reconciled the dispute. I won't talk about it any more than that, tho, and I just don't have the energy to RP tonight, need to calm down. I will post tomorrow for sure.

So question for y'all;

There are going to be Seven Primary protagonists. Each was at one time or another a villain, hero, or leader to have existed in the world and each is powerful in one respect or another. Some might be powerful Mages, Clerics, or Warriors others might be Masterminds or masters of subterfuge.

Referred to as the "Seven Pillars" they believed to be ranked from 1 ~ 7 in no particular order. I have one established for the upcoming first proper arc (Seventh Pillar; Cardinal Vexx). As these individuals could have been past or present influences upon the world there are two way to generate the remaining ones.

Those options are;

#1: You guys make your own and I provide a outline of rules for generation and to keep them relatively on the same level as each other (to start with). Besides that you will have free reign to inject whatever histories or lore you wish into the world (providing it doesn't conflict with the current state of affairs).

#2: I make them myself essentially this was how I originally intended it but figured people might like the idea of having some input on the worlds past events.

I mean, sure, I'd love to make an antagonist, but I can't guarantee I'd actually manage to come up with an idea that seemed good to me. I suppose my answer is that I'm all in favor of people being able to make them, but at the same time if you end up having to I don't have any problem with it.

Annie, even if someone was a qualified magical trainer... why would they train fresh recruits in life or death missions? Apprenticing Annie would likely take 1 to 2 years to go over the basics, at least, in a stable enviroment suitable for study..

This. You can -rolls eyes- all you want, Annie, but it doesn't change the fact that trusting your life to a kid that can't control their abilities when you're trying to explore the most dangerous ruins on the planet is a terrible, terrible idea. Even Ak'syisi, who would personally try to tutor someone under most circumstances, can't fully get behind the idea of someone like that in the group, simply because it is too dangerous for both them and everyone else.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

*Shrugs* Every hero has to be an antagonist for somebody, right? Well, Unless you were martyred and happened to stand on the right side of history when you died, of course.

I think it might be cool to work with something of a starting point. It gives us something to build upon that is already connected to the world's lore; though I imagine it could work either way.

Chris,
Hm, I had a similar idea in As Demons Weeping, in that there was a option for users to RP as villains. I do like this idea. So, the Seven Pillars are main protagonists who used to be antagonists, or something like that? Indeed, this would give the RP a sense of direction and purpose.
