1) No, like I described in the crash it kinda got crushed a bit.

2) Even if it was, you'd have to run through a pack of angry wolf-monsters to get there, and I doubt that's a very safe thing to do when you've got a princess that probably can't fight well. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
